We had a lovely two weeks at this property. It's large and attractive, with plenty of rooms for everyone. Probably the best part of the experience was the hostess Jeannine. She was an amazing communicator and very responsive when we had any issues. She was absolutely invaluable to us as we learned the area. Be sure to take advantage of all the offerings she can arrange (ie cooking class with Lorenza, painting class with Liz, groceries, and even a private custom meal cooked by her - one of the best meals we had in Italy!).
We really appreciated that we could walk to the local town, although it is quite small (just a few cafes/restaurants, a small grocery and not much else). Fortunately the two restaurants are quite good. Please note that while there is reference to a local train station we saw no evidence of any train service to the town. You will need a car (several if you're a large group).
Some aspects we appreciated: the home gym, the AC (although it struggled during a heat wave), having 2 laundry facilities, and the beautiful pool.
The house is probably best for multiple families, since it's two distinct houses (and the layout is a bit awkward). We were one large family and wished there had been a large gathering space where we could all eat together or play a game. But there are plenty of individual rooms to accommodate families who want to spread out. Be aware that the property is spread out with a lot of stairs, so probably not ideal for the mobility impaired.
