We are glad Mishonna had a wonderful time despite the pool being still under repairs. And we appreciate her understanding since there is nothing we can do about bad weather (this year we have had two months of constant rain and cold) so that the works could have not carried out as expected. She was advised only a couple of days ahead of her arrival as we all were expecting the pool to be ready before the week end. But complications also arised. In regards to the pictures of the wine tasting room it is written on the website that this is Nozzole, our main cellar and wine tasting room. We further inform our guests about it with our informative mail we send a couple of weeks before arrival saying that at Tenuta La Fuga you may taste wine and see the cellar with Davide, our manager of the cellar, but there is no public organised wine tasting and that it is possible to arrange a visit and proper wine tasting at Nozzole near Greve in Chianti for which we provide the email address to reserve the visit. This is also reported on the listing. We inform the drive is a couple of hours away, but it is worth driving as one may take advantage of seeing the florentine province too. We also always ask to read carefully our information as they are complete. Unfortunately this is not always the case and when this happens we are very disappointed to read misleading information. We hope Mishonna will be able to come over again as she was a great guest, hopefully with a more stable weather like we are all hoping.

Erika and her family were a Tenuta La Fuga for a week. Wonderful people, very punctual at their arrival, the house was left spotless and all rules were fully respected., Very autonomous people. We highly recommend them to all hosts, but we hope they'll come back to Tenuta La Fuga for their next holiday in Tuscany!

Nicole has a beautiful family, including children and grandchildren, all very kind and respectful. We think they loved our house and our cellar too! It is such a pleasure to see people enjoying our wine for a full immersion experience! We also hope Nicole and his family will come back and we thank them for their appreciation and respect.

Frank and his family were wonderful guests. They also had guests staying with them for a few days and all were very kind, polite, and very respectful people. We are only sorry about the unusually bad weather so the water in the swimming pool wasn't optimal. We are glad they enjoy their stay and our wine. We are speechless reading David's comments on his stay and in regard to his and his family's experience with our trusted chef Francesco. They celebrated Deni's birthday and a surprise party was set up. We especially thank David and we really hope he will return and visit us on his next trip to Tuscany. He'll be always most welcome!

Hearing about the incomprehension between guests and our staff is the worse that can happen to us since we put a great effort into trying and communicate at the best with our guests from the very start, in order to make their arrival and stay the most pleasant as possible. And we are very sorry if Michael did not fully enjoy his stay. But we must say that after so many years (12 in fact) of hosting and having received so many good reviews, this is actually the very first time that we read such a complaint since our caretaker and manager of the cellars Davide is always very available to people taking time from his wine work for assisting our guests and he has always been appreciated by all. Reviews speak for us. He does his best to make our guests happy but he is working hard in the fields and the cellars from very early in the morning, it can happen that at times he might not be available if it is not urgent. He shows all functionings and offers information to the guests at arrival, that is what check-in is for. His English is not so fluent but he has always been making himself understood and loved by people. Furthermore, all the house rules are clearly written in the listing, in the email, and in the Arrival Form to fill out, which we send prior to guests' arrival. It is of vital importance that they know well where they are going to stay. It looks like Michael did not read all the information given, as well as he never gave the requested time of arrival at the house (despite he was asked a second time) which is clearly indicated in the arrival form: from 4 to 6 pm. In the middle of the countryside where Tenuta La Fuga is located, it is not easy to move around at dark if one doesn't know the way, so firstly we want to make sure that our guests have an easy way for arriving at the house, secondly, Davide finishes his work at 6 pm. He can wait some time, of course, delays can happen, but it is not possible to arrive at any time one wishes. An agriturismo like ours is not like a hotel where one can come and go at any time and where staff is always available. Time was given to Michael for the check-out on a festive day at 6:30 am, but this hasn't been taken into account in his comments. Again, we think Michael was in the wrong place and that a different type of accommodation with a service 24h or a concierge would suit him better.
