Beautiful place to get away

This is a lovely place to get away from it all in a very peaceful part of France. The village is beautiful and surrounded by excellent off-road walking routes. Lovely wildlife and birds to enjoy. The nearest supermarket and boulangerie are 16kms away so some planning needed, but there is a lovely restaurant at the end of the road. In easy striking distance of Beaune and Dijon. Anna is a lovely hostess and very helpful

Wunderschön gelegene Ferienwohnung mit herrlichem Ausblick, großer Terrasse und Gartenanlage. Geschmackvoll eingerichtet, nostaligesches Ambiente und dennoch sehr funktional ausgestattet, großes Doppelbett mit sehr guter Matratze. Der Ort ist gut gelegen für vielseitige Unternehmungen wie Wandern, Radfahren, Stadtbesichtigungen. Kontaktfreudige und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin (Austausch in Englisch)

Charming location, fantastic views

Very interesting and charming house. Views from lounge area stunning, could just sit for hours and take it all in. Very comfortable but different to live in despite the very hot temperatures. Great local walk options and the garden, although at a lower level, ideal to exercise our dog. A few irritations such as no plug in bathroom sink and old food left in various places in house but overall nothing to put off any would be client. More +'s than -'s. Love the area and Anna's recommendations were all good. Man across the road sells his own passable wine cheaply.

Relaxing idyll

Such a beautiful house in beautiful surroundings. Just what was needed after a hectic week with family! The house and garden was so cosy and comfortable! Thank you Anna for sorting out the vets and for making us feel so welcome!

Heerlijk ruim huis in mooie omgeving

Het huis van Anna beschikt over veel ruimte en veel voorzieningen (wasmachine, vaatwasser, ruime keuken etc.) en is zeer geschikt voor 2 personen om een ontspannen vakantie te vieren. De gastvrouw is zeer vriendelijk en gastvrij. In het dorp is een leuk restaurant waar je goed en in een sfeervolle omgeving kunt lunchen of dineren. Het dorp biedt zelf verder geen mogelijkheden voor boodschappen of andere winkels.

Great house in quiet but lovely village

We had plenty of space in Anna's house en were pleasantly surprised by the layout and amenities. Anna is a very friendly and welcoming host. The house has a big kitchen and large bedroom with a good bed.

Really fun stay- I'll be back!

We had a lovely time at Anna's, the place was clean and very well decorated. Anna was quick to reply to us regarding any queries, all the amenities were in good condition. The scenery of the village and surrounding forests were also lush. We'll be back soon!

Fantastique!!

Un lieu paisible et authentique pour se ressourcer. De l'énergie positive se dégage de ce lieu magique où le temps semble s'être arrêté. La vue vous offrira tout ce que la nature a de plus beau à vous offrir. La maison est très bien équipée pour cuisiner, vous détendre et profiter du cadre exceptionnel. Anna est une hôte exemplaire, chaleureuse et de bons conseils. Bref, allez-y les yeux fermés.

wunderful located

We loved to stay in this special and individual house with a wunderful garden and magnificent view. Anna was a warmhearted host caring for us. The village has a lot of french charme and is located 40 km to many attractions of the northern Bourgogne.

A lucky upgrade

Anna is a gracious host with some good tips on places to visit. Her studio condo is beautiful but we were lucky to be upgraded to the much larger one bedroom. The views are so good I felt like I was in a painting - the vineyard, the gardens (both flower gardens and vegetable gardens), the cows, the rolling hills - it was mesmerizing! The evenings were cooler and the fireplace added just another romantic aspect to the lovely barn. She did an incredible job creating this very special home; the quintessential barn/farm house in the French countryside. It was spacious with a full modern kitchen, fireplace, washer/dryer, large shower, plenty of hot water and peaceful. I would recommend this with 2 thumbs up! We also had dinner at the Château just across the street and I would highly recommend that as well.

Gite in tranquil setting

The property is in a quiet hamlet with impressive views of the valley. The property is well maintained and has been tastefully renovated with adequate kitchen equipment. The amenities were as described except there is no washing machine, but Anna kindly did a load of washing for us. It was delightful sitting on the deck overlooking the valley eating our meals or having pre dinner drinks. Anna was a most helpful host whose local knowledge was much appreciated. A lovely weekend escape or a quiet time away from busy city living. We enjoyed a meal at the hotel La Roche just across the road and spent time looking at the nearby villages and chateau Neuf .

Fantastic !!! Cozy, charming, wonderful setting.

The setting was wonderful - overlooking a typical Burgundian valley with pastures of Charolais cows, forests and local vineyards. Our hostess, Anna was charming, fun and full of ideas for things to do and places to visit in the area. Some of her suggestions were wine tastings locally and in Beaune, (we discovered a Marsannay Rosé, exquisite), Châteaux visits, antique hunting at "vide greniers" and the "incontrournable" Saturday morning market and Café Parisienne in Saulieu. The glass of chilled white wine at 11 o’clock on the terrace and the after-market hustle and bustle created that unique French atmosphere unbeatable anywhere in the world. The accommodation is bright, clean, cheerful and recently decorated. We had breakfast and dinner on the terrace almost every day. It was early in the season and the under floor heating was divine. Everything was as advertised. I do recommend Anna’s Studio to all.

I cannot recommend this highly enough. It is a beautiful place in a wonderfully scenic location! It is so peaceful and Anna is a great host who could not have been more welcoming! Will be telling friends about this hidden gem!

Tranquil Bliss With a Unique Twist!

A beautiful rustic property with a modern twist! Our stay was comfortable and pleasant. Beautiful views, unique features in the house and garden with a charming medieval village nearby!
