Everything was fantastic from start to finish. The accommodations were warm and welcoming, and the views were terrific for the early risers in our party. Sparrow greeted us each morning as we went out for our adventures. We were particularly grateful when we returned after checking out to retrieve a left behind item, and our hosts had already found it for us and met us in the driveway with the item and a warm loaf of bread to boot! Thank you do much for having us, we will be coming back!

The host was very nice and the home was very attractive. Unfortunately, the kitchen sink backed up, and we couldn’t use it. Therefore, the host was in and out, trying to fix it and interrupting our time together as a family.Also, as we have found in most vacation rentals, the beds are quite uncomfortable, and,also, the couches in the living area are no longer comfortable.

This place is gorgeous! The views of the mountains are amazing. The owners were so attentive and quick to respond to any needs. The accommodations were really comfortable – the beds were nice and the kitchen facilities were great.

From the moment we arrived I knew it was the right decision. The description of the property was as written. If you want beauty, comfort, privacy from hustle and bustle this was the place. Susan and John were wonderful hosts as described by others. Sparrow was a delight to play with. My only disappointment was we didn’t get to spend more time at the house as our itinerary was jam packed. But waking every morning to hummingbirds was a delight. We hope to be able to visit Washington again and we definitely look too select Rooftop Aeire. Lorraine.

Rooftop Aerie is a wonderful place to say!We were in the area for a wedding and couldn't have chosen a better spot. The house was spacious, comfortable, and well maintained - perfect for relaxing after a busy day. The owners are truly wonderful people: welcoming, kind, and attentive. Beautiful house with absolutely amazing views. Hosts were very friendly and easy to contact. Location was secluded and extremely peaceful, yet close enough to amenities in nearby town that we never felt too isolated. Great home base for staying put and relaxing or for day trips into city or nearby hiking/trails. Definitely recommend!

Great Stay at Rooftop Aerie

Our family of four truly loved our week at Rooftop Aerie. The house was incredibly clean and comfortable four our family, and the views were out of this world! Susan and John were amazing hosts - adding special little "extras" to our stay. They generously offered us farm-fresh eggs and lots of homegrown vegetables. Susan even made us some DELICIOUS sourdough bread and strawberry puree. John and Susan were incredibly friendly and responsive to any question we had during our stay. Our family would definitely return to Rooftop Aerie anytime that we are in Snohomish.

Relaxing getaway

Our stay at rooftop was amazing. Every expectation was not only met but taken to a whole new level. The owners were very friendly, easy to talk to, and super kind and respectful. One of the best moments was when early one morning our host met us and delivered fresh vegetables and eggs to us and along with a warm welcome. It was just very sincere and friendly. We were in town visiting some family and i will never forget when our host walked up and delivered fresh dungeous crab they had just caught to our home ( that was beyond cool and thoughtful). Everything about rooftop aerie says classy, respectful, real, and all around amazing experiences. Definitely a mustvbook for anybody looking for a great time and a chance to get away from the hustle and busle of life

Stunning property

We had a fantastic experience during our stay at Rooftop Aerie. The house is beautiful with all amenities: well stocked kitchen, laundry, toiletries, bathrobes, comfortable king size beds. Every room has stunning views, not to mention the rooftop with views of Cascades including Mt Baker! We enjoyed reading on the covered patio with humminbirds fluttering nearby, eagles and owls were also spotted. This was the serene experience we needed. John and Susan and their sweet dog Sparrow were fantastic hosts and very responsive to any issues. Susan even baked us delicious sourdough bread, twice! We intend to book the property again when we return in 2 years for another event. Very highly recommend!

Relaxing stay with spectacular views

This is such a great place to stay. We stayed here for 6 days and used it as our home base to visit Snoqualmie Falls, North Cascades National Park and Mt. Rainier National Park. The stay was very relaxing. The home is spacious, well stocked with all the necessities and Susan and John, the hosts, are very friendly, accommodating and communicative. When we arrived, Susan came over with a. freshly baked sourdough bread and Tillamook butter. Very attentive! They live on the same property, but are not intrusive at all. Sometimes their dog Sparrow came over to play and we really enjoyed that. The views from the patio are amazing, and even better from the patio furniture on the rooftop. On clear days you can see Mount Baker and various other peaks. I would recommend staying here if you want to escape the city and are seeking to find some peace and quiet. You will not be disappointed.

Great time at the clubhouse

20 years ago, my friends and I made a movie about growing up and friendship. We got together and made a sequel to that movie and shot it locally around Monroe. We stayed at the Rooftop Aerie while we shot the movie to save on drive time to their respective homes.We didn’t know how much of a wonderful experience we would be in store for. John and Susan were excellent hosts, and very welcoming with their space. It was one of the high points of our experience

Friendly comfort with a view!

Hosts have done a great job making this home comfortable for travelers. It was clean, comfortable, and very thoughtfully stocked with goodies in kitchen and bath. It’s a tranquil setting with a view on a nice day, and has a covered well-equipped outdoor area, too. John and Susan are kind, friendly, and responsive hosts. We didn’t get to spend much time at the house, because we were up for a family event, but we hope to return and take better advantage of the location and amenities another time!

Just Perfect

Our group stayed for a week. There was nothing the place needed. We cooked several meals at the house and it had everything we needed. There was an incredible supply of oils, seasonings, and condiments, which makes eating at the home so much easier. Our group as 3 couples and each had their own bedroom and bathroom. The third bath does not have a shower or tub, but that was a minor inconvenience. The water supply at the house was well water and the host provided bottled water to use. When we arrived the home was open and ready to go. Susan brought over fresh eggs one morning and fresh sourdough bread another time. There were so many things that made the house comfortable that I am sure I can't remember them all. It was clean, warm, smelled amazing, and had everything we needed. The outside patio area had heaters and a cool fire feature and we spent several nights outside listening to the frogs. We were not able to utilize the rooftop due to the winter weather creating a bit of a hazard, but it was not that much of an issue. Sparrow and the horses are little bonuses to the property that make you feel like you are at home, so we loved seeing them daily. We may or may not have given the horse a carrot. We would most definitely stay again. The trips to Woodinville and Snohomish were completely enjoyable and I would recommend both cities for food and drinks. Thank you, Susan and John. We had an amazing stay.
