"This place was... underwhelming. We were grateful for the air conditioning that worked really well and a comfortable bed. However, the place could use a deep cleaning and fresh paint, and we were concerned by the lack of mattress protector on the bed, mildew on the shower curtain, and what appeared to be a mouse dropping on one of the chairs. The host was very responsive with information at booking and for check in, and it was nice to have a separate entrance."

"The space was dirty and not well appointed. Worst part was there was no air conditioning working in the house and when we asked the host who was on the property, he said "sorry, it broke yesterday". It was over 30 degrees outside and hotter inside. Absolutely a horrible experience. We left and I asked for a full refund - called the owner and he yelled at me multiple times "no way!" over and over. "

"It needs to be made abundantly clear— this is not a “cozy private room and bathroom” as advertised. You are renting a bedroom in someone’s residence and have access to the shared bathroom across the hall, which also meant staying in the daily mess and untidiness of the usual family home. I was awoken by the noise of the family and their young children in the night and in the morning. Anyone could have access to your key and your room with no security from within and the home is half of a duplex...
