Rooms are basic but comfortable - which is reflected in the star rating/room rate, they are spotlessly cleaned everyday and have everything you need including air conditioning (included in the price).

"I stayed at Barefoot Contessa in mid-June 2025. I was holidaying as a solo traveller which I have only done a few times before and so was very anxious leading up to the trip. We’d booked 3 nights at the hotel but ended up staying for 10 nights as we were massively let down by the villa owner on the day of arrival in Kefalonia (we’d booked 5 months prior).
