I am going to give an honest, practical review of this lake house. I loved the location and the dock was wonderful! The ramp going to the dock made it so easy. Getting from the top deck to the lower deck wasn't super easy if you have young kids or elderly people, but it is doable. Getting into the house was also a challenge carrying all groceries and things up to the top floor because there isn't any access to the main floor from the driveway, however, it really isnt terrible unless you have elderly people or young babies/toddlers. The house had lots of room, but: the AC did not keep it cool, it is very outdated as far as lighting goes. The kitchen is HUGE and there was one old little light in the middle and one over the sink. The beds in all rooms except the master were not that comfortable at all. I would recommend changing those mattresses. In one bedroom, the bed frame is on wheels, so it rolls every time you turn over. I would stay here again! I love the location and proximity to Bridgewater marina ( from the water). The cove is a deep cove which is nice because the water is cleaner! I just wanted to be practical and let people know about some things that made it more difficult, but not impossible to stay here. When going on vacation and paying all of that money, you want to be comfortable and at the least, feel like home. There are a few things that could make this better. But again, we spent 99% of our time outside, so the docks and water were great! The deck had 2 large picnic tables and a grill. The bottom covered porch was huge and shady! I dont mind that the house wasn't fancy! I Just need comfortable beds, AC (the temps were in the 90's for June) and lighting to see well!
