Graduation Celebration & Memorial Day

Property was gorgeous! The pictures are pretty but they do not do this home justice. The view is outstanding. The location felt like we were tucked away but we were still very close to amenities. The home is perfect! Beds were comfy and we had plenty of room to spread out. The kitchen was stocked with all the necessary cutlery and cookware, not something you see in most rentals. The guide we received upon check in was through and well written. Our hosts were quick to respond to our questions as well! Overall - great stay!

Clean Nice fun place

Place is clean and modern. Pool, hot tub, and lake all great! The perfect balance for family during graduation .Paddle boarding and kayak and pool table kept the young everyone smiling! Property does have a steep driveway and does not come with essentials- something to keep in mind but overall was a great stay!

What a great weekend with family and friends. The pool was wonderful and on a rainy evening the hot tub is a dream. There is so much space and love all of the amenities!

A fun and relaxing lake house!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sandy Bottom Cove. Great interior layout for our families with the large living areas, game room, nice kitchen and bathrooms. Enjoyed the outdoor space of the 2 levels of decks, hot tub and private dock. Incredible view, and we loved getting out on the water for a peaceful paddleboard session. Management quickly and politely handled all our questions and concerns. Definitely recommend!

Girls getaway

This is an excellent location for any time of the year! We really enjoyed our time at the lake house. The bunk beds may need a little TLC, but everything else was just perfect!

Wow!

We stayed at Sandy Bottom for the week of July20-27, 2024. It is a great location on a quiet cove with a nice view of the lake. The pool and hot tub were big hits with the family. Everyone enjoyed learning to paddleboard. We brought some kayaks and the kayak and board expeditions were great fun. We rented a boat and the dock made it very convenient. My 4 year old grandson had a blast catching small fish off the dock. A food lion is only a few miles away which made gathering supplies easy. All in all, probably the best family vacations we have had. The owners are attentive and responsive. The maintenance guy stopped by a couple of times to make sure everything was OK. We will definitely rent Sandy bottom again!!!

Wonderful week!

This was a beautiful house with the perfect number of bedrooms and bathrooms for the 8 of us! We spent most of our time in the pool and/or lake and the paddle boards were a great feature for us! Our grand daughter loved all the wildlife in the neighborhood. It was such a peaceful, bonding time for all of us! I highly recommend the property!

A Family Getaway

We rented this property for an extended family getaway. It was a great spot and beautiful home. This home offered a slew of activities for all to enjoy - the hot tub, the paddleboards, and the pool table. Although we couldn't partake in the pool or firepit because of the weather (too cool and windy), it was ready for us if we had the opportunity. Stores were about a 10 minute drive and easy to locate. My suggestions for an update to the home would be a few extra balnkets and to pave the driveway,

Beautiful home!

We had a great stay at Sandy Bottom Cove celebrating our parents 50th anniversary! The house was beautiful, honestly even better than the pictures. It was fully stocked, the pool was warm and the kids had a blast swimming & fishing at the dock! The adults especially enjoyed the outdoor spaces with the firepit and the upper deck and fireplace. We will definitely return!

Safety Measures

Upon arrival we noticed the absolutely beautiful mountain and lake view behind the property. The interior of the house was somewhat clean due to previous guest trash left near the pool table located in the basement level. Also, myself and guest was concerned about no privacy in the common area due to no curtains on the windows . It is suggestible that smart shades be installed for more privacy in the common area. In addition, the grill was absolutely filthy and was the fire pit didn’t work . However , we still enjoyed our stay and made the best of it.

Great House for a Family Vacation!

This house was perfect for our family Christmas! There were plenty of rooms for everyone and it never felt like we were on top of each other. Unfortunately, due to the time of the year, we couldn't use the pool, but the hot tub was great! We would definitely rent it again!

The location and peace at this time of year were wonderful. Lots of room and mostly kid-friendly. The pool was a wonderful feature and we were able to cheat the autumn and used the heated pool every day. My only negative comment is the cleanliness of the home. Lots of cobwebs everywhere, windows had not been cleaned and the open shelving in the kitchen for glasses and dishes was thick with dust. The fridge was not wiped down very well, and most of the bedding covers and rugs were stained. The cleaning fee that every renter pays should have taken care care of the majority of these issues. Otherwise, it was a nice stay and the company was very easy to work with and accommodated my pre-check-in request which is very appreciated.

Family friendly

My family stayed here for 6 days. The property was very clean and family friendly. Neighborhood was quiet and only a 10 minute drive to local shops, arcade and restaurants. There was so much to do from water activities to the game room downstairs. We truly enjoyed our stay!

Perfect Vacation Getaway

Pool, hot tub, views, and property were amazing! We enjoyed hanging out at the fire pit in the morning watching the boats and had smores in the evening. We used the pool table, hot tub and heated pool several times a day. We even extended our trip a day because it was so hard to leave. Definitely booking again next year!

Gorgeous Home Beautiful Setting

This property is exactly as pictured and it is lovely. Tons of activities, lots of space to relax and a great hot tub. The pool was gorgeous too, but too cold for us in late March.

Dream House

This house was even more beautiful in person. I can’t think of a single way to improve this house, the location, or the stunning views. My family relaxed and enjoyed all this house had to offer. My foster son said it best when he said, “Wow! This house is on another level!” Thank you for sharing this house; we plan to visit again!

Beautiful house with great amenities

The house was absolutely gorgeous with a ton of space for a big group. The pool table, hot tub, and two massive living rooms were great amenities that were perfect for a large group of friends. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a getaway weekend.
