Thank you Jeff and Jackie for sharing your beautiful home! We went on vacation with 2 other families and had 6 adults and 4 teenagers ages15-18 and everyone had a phenomenal time!- House looks just like the pictures- Tons of room- Super clean- Stocked with EVERYTHING. Loved that you provided garbage bags, dish soap and tons of other extras!- Bathrooms were updated and awesome- Decks were beautiful, swept and had great views- WiFi was excellent- The dock area was perfection! Swam and played every day. The sheds were a great touch. LOVED the seating areas by the dock- This was our first time staying in a coves d not the main channel, and we loved it. We didn’t have to tie our rafts to the dock so we wouldn’t float away- kids all loved the paddle boards and kayaks- driveway fit all 5 of our vehicles and probably would have fit 8- hosts were quick to respond to any questions we had- yes there are100 steps to get to the water. It’s not terrible and typical of many waterfront homesGreat house and a great vacation!

Great Family Trip to SML

This house was the perfect location; close to Bridgewater Marina, Drifters, and Jake's but away from the on-water traffic further South. Pro-tip: Going Northish (right) out of the cove you'll find a great early morning run for water sports and some ice cream for breakfast from the ice cream boat!

A wonderful home for memories

What an amazing location on the lake! The dock and area by the lake are incredible and the home is large with numerous spaces so that we were able to give each person their own area.

Beautiful lake house

Wonderful house with everything you need for a comfortable vacation stay. Hosts are awesome and easy to communicate with. Would recommend this property for anyone looking for a vacation on Smith Mountain Lake.

A wonderful stay in SML

This house was perfect for our family of 6. We let our older boys have some privacy downstairs which was a huge room and they appreciated having their own space. Our younger children and I stayed upstairs. It was plenty of space and would have easily been comfortable if we had brought grandparents or a couple friends along (max occupancy is 8). The kitchen is very nicely done and appears new and had everything we needed for cooking meals each day. Our favorite part was the cove this house is located in. My husband and I could just hang on the dock (or join when we wanted) and watch our children safely jump in, swim, kayak and paddle around as there was rarely anyone else out and about. Overall, a great stay.

My Stay at the SML House Angela Court

The house was easy to find and the home itself was fantastic. We had plenty of space throughout the house for four couples. The house was clean and guest ready when we arrived. Be aware of the many stairs leading to the lake. There are many and tough for us older folks. Please be aware that you must use your life jackets once out on the lake. A member of our group got a summons for not wearing one.We cooked two wonderful meals, one on the grill and the setting and home is just great.We highy recommend this home and using VRBO was easy and very convenient.

Nice neighborhood

Loved how the place was nice and clean, and we were able to grill outside and relax. We also enjoyed the fact that we could get out on the water with the kayaks Would definitely rent again.

Cozy and beautiful!!

Beautiful lake view and thoroughly enjoyed water activites like kayaking and paddleboarding. Access to the lake as part of thr property was so convenient for hop in and out many times we want.

Lovely Property

The property was well maintained and well stocked. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. TV’s in all but one of the bedrooms, which was very nice. Downstairs area had 2 beds and bathroom and is perfect area for children to sleep or separate space for a couple with one or two younger children to be able to sleep in same space with parents. Would definitely recommend this property.

Great stay!

This house was perfect for my friends and I to get together to celebrate one’s marriage! We enjoyed the deep water to jump of the dock as well as the kayaks and paddle boards. The house was beautiful and we enjoyed sitting on the various decks as well.

Great stay!

Beautiful house and property. Very clean with lots of cleaning and toiletry supplies. There were four adults and five kids in our group and it was so nice that the linens were included. I must say there are a lot of steps down to the lake, but it’s worth it! The lake area is very nicely done, the cove is quiet, and swimming off the dock was loads of fun! I would highly recommend this house for a family vacation. It would also be great for adults only.

Great location and great property!

We stayed here with three teens and we all had a blast. Great isolated little cove with deep water as described and yet close to marinas, restaurants, rentals, and more. Hosts were great as was the condition of everything and the amenities provided. Would recommend!

Wonderful SML Weekend

We had an awesome weekend at your property. As soon as we walked in everyone said the same thing, this place is immaculate. All of us were very pleased with how clean it was and very thankful for all the kitchen amenities as well as the lake toys. We would highly recommend this property to others and hope to stay here again someday. The owners are quick to respond to any questions and the check in process was easy. Thank you for everything!!

Wonderful Place

My family really enjoyed our time together during this vacation. The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed. It even had an air fryer which wasn’t listed on the description. The decks were wonderful, with plenty of seating. It even had a shaded deck. The greatest part was the lake set up. Great dock, sitting areas, fire pit, and a shallow entry for our grandkids, who are 2 and 4. The only bad part was there are over a 100 steps from the house to the dock. Yes we counted them! Just consider this when booking this home if you have anyone with ambulatory issues. The hosts were really nice and answered all of our questions quickly. I contacted them because we couldn’t find the electric air pump. Apparently it had been taken or hidden. They ordered one and we had it the next day. Now that really is above and beyond what they had to do for us. We absolutely loved this rental!!! Thank you so much to the hosts for sharing their home with us.

Had a lovely stay

House was perfect as advertised. So many small things that are taken for granted in other properties were surprisingly available here. Things like soap, shampoo, dish soap, sponge and many others that we have always forgotten about were ready and waiting. Such a pleasant surprise that made our stay so very comfortable.

The house is everything that you want and more!

This house is ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL and the owners are so thoughtful to provide all of those extra little things that most people forget to pack. The lake has great access, and the plaza is just 15 minutes away!
