The Space:

Quinta da Teimosa by Portugal Active was created for those seeking to slow down and enjoy peaceful days in a warm and welcoming environment. The property brings together three independent apartments, each with its own identity: Casa da Montanha, Casa da Poça and Casa da Vinha. These three spaces form a harmonious ensemble designed to offer privacy, comfort and a continuous sense of well‑being.

Each apartment blends simplicity with comfort: a double bedroom that invites rest, a functional kitchenette for preparing small meals at ease, a private bathroom and a cosy living room with a double sofa bed, ideal for quiet moments. Each unit also includes a small dining area, perfect for enjoying the slow rhythm of the day.

Outdoors, the atmosphere becomes even more serene. The property offers open views over the vineyard, creating a sense of space and tranquillity that accompanies every moment spent outside. The exterior features a well‑kept garden, a refreshing swimming pool, a barbecue area for relaxed meals and a service bathroom designed for added convenience.

To ensure a comfortable stay, each apartment is equipped with air conditioning, wireless internet and free on‑site parking, allowing everything to flow naturally and without worries.

Guest Access:

Guests have exclusive access to the entire property, including the swimming pool, the garden and all indoor amenities. Portugal Active’s concierge service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to assist with any request — from organising local tours to booking private chef services. To ensure availability, please request any service at least 72 hours in advance.



Important notes:

- During the high season (May to October), the pool and garden undergo regular maintenance to ensure the best possible experience for guests.

- The pool is out of service from November to April.

Quinta da Teimosa by Portugal Active is located in Monção, in the heart of Alto Minho, a region known for its lush green landscapes and the winemaking tradition of Alvarinho wine. Its privileged location allows you to easily explore the authenticity of northern Portugal. Just a short drive away, around 10 minutes, you will find Monção’s historic centre, where you can stroll along the village walls, visit the Alvarinho Museum or enjoy the local gastronomy in traditional restaurants serving the famous Cordeiro à Moda de Monção. For moments of thermal relaxation, the Monção Thermal Baths are situated about 15 minutes away.

The proximity to the Minho River offers opportunities for peaceful walks by the water or leisurely bike rides. The Spanish border is only 10 minutes away, allowing quick visits to Salvaterra de Miño to discover the culture and flavours of Galicia.



Getting Around:

Quinta da Teimosa by Portugal Active is located in Monção, in the Alto Minho region, and is most conveniently reached by car. We offer free on‑site parking to ensure maximum comfort for our guests.

The property is situated about ten minutes by car from Monção’s historic centre and from the Monção Thermal Baths.

For travellers arriving by plane, Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport in Porto is the closest arrival point, located approximately an hour and a half away via the motorway. We recommend renting a car to explore the region with freedom and comfort.
