Hotel impactante Enorme, muy lindo pero lejos de todo ( 45 min desde Denarau; taxi cuesta 40 USD) Solo le faltan espectáculos (hay uno de danza del fuego y bailes típicos a cargo de personal del hotel), dada su lejanía ya q estos solo se encuentran en Denarau y desde allí en algunas islas Además solo se puede comer en el hotel

Primera y última en Marriott
No vuelvo mas. Todo demoras. Llegamos a tiempo y nos hicieron esperar casi dos horas para el check in. Dijeron que tomemos unas bebidas a cargo del hotel por la espera, pero sólo era vino o cerveza local, nada de cockteles por ejemplo. Estando en hoteles de la misma categoría y precio tienen más atenciones con nosotros, como por ejemplo Champagne en la habitación. Fuimos a celebrar el cumpleaños de mi esposa y ni por esa razón tuvieron una atención en el cuarto. Si nos dieron una tortita en la cena. Nos alojamos en el Overwater Bure, es lindo pero el agua no vale la pena. No es super cristalina no hay pases no hay corales y no hay arena para hacer pié, hay que estar flotando. Otro punto en contra, ni si quiera snorkel de cortesía, ni los deportes no motorizados básicos incluían. El mini bar esta vacío, es decir si quieres beber algo en la habitación hay que pedirlo y te cobran la bebida más el delivery de la misma. Para la cena y check out hay que pedir que te lleven en un carrito de golf porque todo es realmente lejos, y tambien se demoraron y no nos cerró el restaurante. Los empleados son muy amables pero creo que no son suficientes personas y por eso se demora todo.

Excelente hotel, excelente servicio, los cuartos son inmejorables, pero le fallo al hotel en la especto seguridad: dejaron entrar a personas que no sean huéspedes ( proveedores de servicios) a buscarnos dentro del hotel específicamente en el restaurant. Eso no es correcto, y no me sentí seguro en ese hotel

La peor experiencia de mi vida
La peor experiencia de mi vida. Al llegar rentamos auto 4 Adultos 1 Bb. Llegamos al hotel. En el hotel nos dijeron k Fiyi era un lugar muy seguro, fuimos a cenar a un area k nos recomendaron al regresar como 7pm al hotel, sobre la carretera que lleva al único hotel que está ahí q es el Marriot nos estaba esperando un auto sin placas con personas armadas k trataron de pararnos en 3 ocasiones enseñándonos el arma para q paráramos. Escapamos como pudimos y de suerte casi no nos matamos pues la carretera está sola y obscura sin señalamiento. En el hotel se limitaron a decir q eso nunca pasa y a llamar a la policia k lo único q dijo fue si no me había dado cuenta si el arma era de juguete o real. Pienso k esto ya a pasado y nadie dice nada por k es un lugar k depende 100% del turismo. Es una lástima estropearon toda mi estancia por k moría de miedo y más por traer a mi bebé.

Nunca antes habíamos escuchado algo parecido y ciertamente no es lo que define Fiji, que se caracteriza por la calidez y amabilidad de su pueblo. Actualmente la policía local está investigando el caso y no divulga ninguna otra información. Lamentamos que no haya podido disfrutar de todas las cosas bellas que ofrece Fiji, pero espero poder darle la bienvenida algún día. It’s a beautiful resort, but while the staff are extremely friendly there is just no excuse for poor service. I can understand ‘Fiji time’ but as an example, we order 3 soft drinks…and they are delivered one at a time 10 mins apart. That’s just bad. If this resort just spent some time on their staff training, getting them up to 5 star service levels, thus place would be amazing! With that said we really enjoyed our stay and the kids loved kids club and the pool area, so we would definitely consider returning. Though next time I’d do all inclusive because all the ‘extra’ charges are confusing and add up by the end of your stay

I loved this property ! We stayed in the standard lagoon style rooms which faced the kids pool. This room was spacious and had 2 double beds so it was perfect to have the extra space for our toddler. Balcony was great and had a great clothes line to hang our wet clothes. Small milk bottles and water were supplied complimentary in the mini fridge. Friendly staff, even remembering ours and our sons name each day.

Ambience, gardens, ability to find both quiet relaxing vistas or more active areas. The staff to a person extremely happy and helpful in a genuine way. We compared this to the gold standard of the Maldives and it was pretty well up there. We would normal book tours outside the property but in this case felt absolutely no need to do this on this holiday. If there was one element that could be improved it would be a better awareness/organisation of diners in the restaurants. "Fiji time" is a positive for relaxation, however not when one is hungry!! We would definitely recommend Momi Bay.

I became ill with a leg infection from a collision several years earlier. I had no syptoms for 5 years and believed I was in the clear. The staff took excellent care to make sure I was tended to. The medical center had the antibiotics I required to clear up the infection, and reception even put us into a new room after check out so I could rest up until my flight. Top notch!

Marriott’s resort was incredible! It was big enough with a lot to do so it didn’t feel crowded or chaotic. There was a nice calming vibe to it, and it was easy to sit back and relax. Would love more shade around the pools but otherwise could not fault it.

Our ocean view duplex Bure had everything we needed, and was easily accessible to all resort amenities and restaurants. We enjoyed the adults only pool and fish bowl restaurant with its wonderful service in particular. Although the weather wasn’t perfect on all days, the activities, restaurants and bars made for fun days, with great staff and plentiful happy hour options, between swims in the warm pools. All the food was great, specifically the extensive breakfast offerings and the fishbowl bar for a special Occassion. We enjoyed being sung to, and seeing the joy on the faces of staff and guests. We will recommend Momi bay to our friends and hope to return again one day!

Staff was not pleasant. On two occasions, the staff touched me inappropriately. Additionally, they swept the floor very close to where I was standing, and blew some dirt on me. I am asking for a refund of at least two of our 3 night stay. I suffered humiliation and was treated with disrespect. I do not deserve this. For a company with a stellar reputation such as hours, it is shameful to receive such treatment from your staff. Please refund -2 night stay equivalent to my credit refit card immediately. I will also be reporting these incidents on social media. I expect to receive acknowledgement of this note and the compensation per above note without daily o

The website is very deceiving.. the private beach is only for those in bungolows. I felt very misled. You cant go to the beach on the ocean, only in the lagoon, unless you have a bungalow on the beach!! Its also over an hour to get to the airport, i thought it was listed as much closer! Otherwise the rooms are great and so is the food but it is very expensive

Beautiful views in the Gogi restaurant great buffet breakfast.I thought the lunches and dinners were way too expensive. The Shuttle from the concierge was ridiculously expensive. So be aware of those things. we were told we could have a dayroom where we could wait for our Shuttle that was picking us up at 4 pm , cause our flight was only at 7:30pm on our departure When we were checking out we were told there is no dayroom. We could only use it for 1/2hour. We were pretty disappointed. Not sure if Il go there again

The Marriott Resort at Momi Bay is relatively new (2017) and the condition of the resort shows it. Everything is clean, new and the ground are immaculate. 4 dining options on the property so you will always have variety. Swimming in the ocean here isn't up to resort standards. The lagoon is man-made and can get murky. Everything else is rocky, shallow tide flats. There is an adults only pool with bar service.

We stayed in an over-water bure. The lagoon water was so mirky it made us not want to swim in the lagoon. Defeated the purpose of paying extremely high rate for the room. The Fiji airport experience made us not want to return.

Overall excellent stay. Resort and room were very clean and well maintained throughout. Staff were exceptionally courteous, professional, and readily available to assist with query or requests. Restaurants and food were great with a reasonable variety of choices for breakfast, lunch, supper, and/or drinks. Pool and lagoon access facilities were maintained and a worthwhile venture for a break/rest. Resort location is secluded but otherwise in range of amenities within/beyond. Various excursions/leisure available within/outside the sprawling resort property. Sometimes restaurant service was overwhelmed with other guests/orders however they did their best that appeared to have many satisfied. Would stay again for sure given its individual performance and Marriott brand.
