A perfect retreat
The location was unbelievably beautiful. Lake Superior was always visible, inside or out. Great usable space for living, dining and sleeping. The beds were very comfortable. The location was very rural yet easy driving distance to Copper Harbor. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Sunrise Cove Cabin = Top rated stay.
Great private cabin with all positive amenities. Excellent location to beaches, trails and coastline scenery. Comfortable beds, recliners, and couch.

Beautiful cottage on rocky shore
The cottage was very clean, warm, comfortable, and well stocked. It has a comfortable bed and furniture, and nice views of the big lake. It was cozy even in a chilly fall storm. Overall a very relaxing place to stay.

Beautiful experience
My husband and I needed a peaceful spot and wanted to be close to Lake Superior. Cara’s place was perfect! A few feet from the water with wonderful windows to watch the storm come in and the stars come out afterwards. Thank you so much- we will be back!

Perfect place to enjoy the lake and use for your “home” base for exploring the Keneewah peninsula
Very clean and well stocked. Lots of thoughtful supplies and amenities in this house. Awesome view of the lake which really is just steps off the porch!

Stay here!!!
The cabin is wonderful! Wonderful!! Right on the rocky shore of Lake Superior. You can walk all along the rocks. So quiet. So clean! The online pictures look like it might be dark and musty. NO! It is fantastically clean and comfortable. The kitchen is superbly well-equipped, including sharp knives. Conveniently located to so many sights. Sunrises and sunsets right there at the cottage. So completely impressed!

Perfect natures get away

Best Spot to Unwind
Property was exactly as promoted. As a family, we just hung out and unplugged ourselves from life for a few days. A fabulous spot to do so!

Noisy basement
A funny smell in bedrooms, urine? Stale flowery smell? For the price of service and stay for two nights i felt the place could have been more updated, Old furniture and the water softener made a terrible racket in the weird basement for quite a while then continued off and on for another hour.

Hi Sherilyn, We hope you enjoyed the Eagle Harbor area!We appreciate you bringing your concerns to our attention. We have had our maintence and care-taking team look into each of the items immediately. Had we known about them during your trip we would've been more than happy to send someone out immediately to address the issue-especially with the water softener . While being next to Lake Superior this cabin does have at times have a normal "up north cabin" scent, but there is no urine or anything like that in the bedrooms or anywhere else in the cabin. The living room furniture is brand new this year (2022) We do hope to host you again at any of our other 80 vacation rentals throughout Michigan. Best! Janelle Freshwater Vacation Rentals
