"There was a strong musty smell when first entering in the dome. Opening windows resolved most of it. Must be air tight construction. Quiet and had everything we needed for our stay. Did set off the smoke alarm with just making toast so was good to know it worked. Did not use the big soaking tub due to concern of water conservation. "Amazing place. Lots of room. The bed was quite comfortable. Good water pressure and great WI-FI. The towels were thick and absorbent. As others have said, the way sound travels was constantly amusing to us. If I had any criticisms at all, it would be that the kitchen was okay, not a lot of pots, pans, dishes, or glasses. "We had a great stay. Excellent location for fishing Arkansas River and we did day trips to Monarch and San Dunes. Cabin is nicely located among some ranches/farms with good privacy and away from roads. Saw deer and elk from the cabin most days. Excellent place for a low-key reunion with friends. Great communication from owner and property management company."

"This home is in the perfect location for all the locations we wanted to see. It was decorated in Christmad magic. Making my grandchildren delighted Santa would find them for sure. "We had an amazing stay and were one of the closest homes to the park. House is very remote and secluded - I considered this a plus as we weren’t looking to go out to dinner, etc. Be sure to do your grocery shopping in Alamosa prior to arrival. Barb was super responsive and the home was clean and spacious. The back porch has perfect views of the mountains and sand dunes and the night sky is breathtaking with no light pollution! I highly recommend this if your looking for a quiet spot to get away...
