Paradise!

Had the most relaxing time here. The house had everything we needed and the location far exceeded expectations. I would definitely come again, next time I would just book the water taxi in advance!

Paradise

This was our favourite place we’ve stayed so far. The views are spectacular and the location sublime. The bach has everything you need and more, and Narisa is a wonderful host who answered all my questions so quickly.

Perfect

Perfect chilled location to catch up with friends. The view was impressive, as was the house. Would recommend to anyone wanting nice big open spaces and a venue to sit back and relax in.

Fantastic place to stay, delivers everything it promises. Set up well and has all you need to relax and unwind. Great having the spa, kayaks and Mt Cawte loop track on the doorstep to use.

Beautiful surroundings, private and relaxing.

Spacious property with beautiful views and peaceful surroundings. We enjoyed the birdsong and tranquility. The property was well kitted out with all the facilities you could want. We had a great time.

Slice of paradise in the Sounds

We had an awesome stay at Narisa’s bach. The place was well equipped with all we needed for a fantastic holiday. The place was comfortable and had the most beautiful views. The kids loved the games, spa and kayaks. Narisa was excellent to deal with, accommodating with all our requests and really helpful with info. We’d love to come back again.

A relaxing stay

The house had everything we needed and we were surprised how big and roomy it was. Beautiful views over the Sound from a nice big front deck. It was very quiet and relaxing with just the sound of bird song.

Absolutely stunning

MIHARO!!! This spot is perfect, knock over views, gorgeous beach, comfy beds, well equipped kitchen, great outdoor furniture for lounging, kayaks, fresh oysters off the rocks. Wowsers, what a fabulous time we had.

perfect spot

very relaxing out of the way spot . everything you need for the getaway with breathtaking views and plenty to do from the fishing , kayaking to relaxing in the spa . visits from local Weka , Tui and bell birds not to mention the odd Possum add to the whole experience . will revisit this area again for sure .

Winter Getaway!

What an amazing adventure and relaxing break we had at this property. It was better than we had expected and we would love to re-visit. The host was so accommodating and helpful with all our questions and any little issues we encountered. Access was difficult with the road closed and the wetness and steepness of the access from the beach. It was well worth it and we just loved sitting and looking.

Absolutely stunning in every way

I was careful about being too excited about this holiday home and that the photos would be better than reality - but I needn’t have worried at all. What an incredible place. The location, views, serenity, native birds, picturesque surroundings with all the extras. We lived kayaking the peaceful waters, the games room with amazing views, fishing off the jetty, jumping off the jetty, board games and relaxation. The perfect place to unwind for the week. Will definitely be back and will recommend to everyone. Thanks for sharing such a special place.

It’s my second time staying here. Absolutely love it, it’s a great place to get away and relax and lots of things to do. The house is great with everything you need and Narisa is a great to deal with. I did notice this time the house was not very clean, especially the bathroom. I found it disappointing especially if your paying someone to do that job between guests. Besides that couldn’t complain, thanks heaps

Amazing stay

Great stay, house is amazing. We were lucky later in our stay so got to go kayaking and caught a few fish from the jetty. We didn’t do the Mt Cawte hike as we were recommended by a neighbour that the track is not good with the recent rain so went walking down the road. We spent many hours in the games room hosting our serious tournaments. The communication with Narisa was exceptional, she kept us upto date with everything and really quick at replying. Remember everyone going by water taxi the walk up the hill is tough with all your gear but it’s only 5 minutes of your holiday

Paradise in Pelorous

I read a previous review of this property where they went expecting the photos not to match the property and be slightly disappointed, OMG this place, I actually thought we were in the wrong house and had to get the troops together to confirm it was actually Narisa's place, stunning is an understatement, from the moment you walk in the door you are greeted with views, views and more views, the amenities are top notch and catered well for the large group we had, the deck was our favorite hang out place, outdoor beer fridge is a wonderful touch, overall we enjoyed a fabulous 4 nights, understandably we were very sad to leave. Narisa's communication is outstanding, nothing was problem at all, rest assured we will all try to return in the future, thanks Narisa for letting us share your slice of paradise :)

Gorgeous views and responsive host

We chose the place for its views and how it appeared on line Narisa was open and responsive at all times for that we are grateful it would have been quite a different experience if it wasn't for that We agreed on a house keeper weekly and she came once which was disappointing apparently she was too busy that didn’t feel great especially as i paid for a full month and due to an accident prior to arriving was only able to stay for part of that time We ran out of fire wood too early in the dtay and the wall and plug in heaters were inadequate this is where Narisa did come throu friends of hers showed up and dropped some off but the initial response was use the heaters they didn’t work and it isn't the same as wood stove heating and the mornings were very cold The roaf access is extremely hairy and the climb via boat would for many be prohibitive with a long steep climb if you have a lot of luggage it's a great way to start an extreme workout program which thankfully i was im need of :) 😀 we loved the stay appreciated Narisas responsiveness but think the location is not for everyone unless you have a boat that would make a big difference
