"What a beautiful valley on the fjord! The cabin has a fantastic view out over Ortnevik to the Sognefjord. It really is stunning. We went on a couple of short hikes around the valley and totally enjoyed them. The cabin itself is comfortable with all the facilities you will need. There is a small store in Ortnevik where you can get groceries but be aware that it has limited opening hours so check with the host. "Leuke huisje, mooie omgeving, prachtig uitzicht. Schitterende zonsopgangen gezien vanaf het balkon. Schoon huisje, alles aanwezig. Prachtige wandelingen gemaakt. Vooral vlak achter het huisje, maar je moet wel eerst een weg van 7 km de berg op rijden. Overal heb je de auto voor nodig. Balestrand is een klein dorpje met 2 kleine supermarktjes."

"Herrliche Lage, direkt am Arnafjord, mit herrlicher großer Terrasse und Badestrand nebenan. Das Haus ist ganz gemütlich und gut ausgestattet. Alle Küchenzutaten, wie Salz, Pfeffer etc muss man allerdings mitbringen. Die Anfahrt von Vik zieht sich etwas, ca 30 min immer am Fjord lang, aber dafür hat man dann Idylle pur."

"We stayed for two nights, before the ski-ing season had begun. There were building works outside on the acces road side but our bedroom faced away from them and looked up the slopes. Our bedroom was very comfortable and warm. Breakfasts were good with a good choice of options and the dinners were excellent.
