The house and location was stunning. Clean, beautiful, close to ocean access. Comfortable beds to sleep in for many guests. It was the perfect get away for several friends who don’t see each other often to unwind and relax. Highly recommend!

Lovely Property on the Sea Shore

Wonderful stay at a very nice property. Beautiful view from the bluff overlooking the beach…great view from the living room windows , deck and back yard. Will stay there again.

Great location but needs work

The location of this house on the bluff is awesome and the view of the ocean was excellent. The house itself has plenty of rooms (two very large masters). First impression was good but things started to change as we spent a bit more time there. We had a few issues during our stay that included the following:The kitchen lights kept flickering and the fridge kept shutting off indicating some sort of electrical issue.The laundry room sink was detached from the plumbing and upon use spilled water all over the floor. Upon further inspection I found a container below the sink plumbing indicating that the presence of the leak was already known and not fixed, and I found mold in the cabinet under the sink.The fridge water dispenser was moldy. There was old food on some of the dishes. They had a few light bulbs needing replacing.There's a bow in the decking of the outside back deck.The kitchen sink faucet dripped unless it was shut off just right. Even though it is winter time while we stayed here, there were no outside fires allowed (even with low fire danger).Advertised price was much lower than the actual cost after the added fees. While the location and view were awesome, it seemed like the house was kind of being held together with a bunch of quick fixes and needs some work to be in a good state of working order. For our experience, we don't believe that it was worth the money to stay at this place.

Wonderful Location

Sandcastle Bluff is in a great location. You can see the surf and beach from the living room. House is comfortable and well equipped. We had a great time.

Beautiful Beach Getaway!

The house was lovely and perfect for our family of 4, but could sleep at least 4 more. Terrific sunset views overlooking Sunset Beach that's just a short drive away.

Great View; Some Negatives

We stayed here for four nights. This is a charming house throughout with a spectacular view of the ocean. The beds and bedding are very comfortable. The library is amazing. The hot tub is well maintained and appreciated. The house is very accessible with a wheelchair ramp and would be comfortable for all ages. Negatives: the outside areas are in need of attention. The yard, which is crushed rock is filling with weeds and needed mowing. The decking is collapsing in several places and is slippery with moss in some places when wet. Wooden seating on the deck needs pressure washing. The lounge chair cushions and frames are in need of cleaning. Bushes are in need of trimming as they are beginning to obstruct the view. Pictures online must be very old.

Great stay during the winter time

Had a great time enjoying the ocean view during the winter. It was pretty chilly outside but the large windows were great to see the ocean from the dining table and couch. Thanks for having us and allowing our dogs to come with us too!

Mixed review

Lots of long black hairs in master bath floor and shower off living room(GROSS) Well stocked kitchen 5 remotes by living room TV and absolutely no explanation is ridiculous and we are Seahawks fans and had to leave the property to watch the game which costs us about a $100 for food and beverages in order to be in a public place to see the game and we were very disappointed. Beds were very comfortable Hot tub should have steps and railings for safety purposes

Great Get Away

Perfect getaway, close access to beach, and great place to spend time with people you care about. Overall property was great and plan on booking again. Few issues with a TV not working in one room and a remote missing for blinds. Not a big deal, as we weren't there to watch TV and we had sunshine that was very much appreciated. Small stuff in the big scheme of things. All good.

Beautiful View

The property was very nice, very large open house with beautiful beach views. The hot tub was large and a very nice relaxing break. There are TVs in the bedrooms but they do not have cable. There is a fire pit but it cannot be used due to burn bans for the entire summer. This is a managed property and you pay those fees and it feels very strictly managed. There is no direct beach access, you have to drive (only 1/4 of a mile) around the corner to drive on the beach. We had to make up the kids bedroom as the sheets were folded next to the beds. I probably would not go through this company again due to the amount of fees you pay for the amenities you get. If you have someone who is handicapped, this would be an ideal place they could get around the house and see the beach from the deck.

Moclips Sandcastle Bluff

This property is amazing! The house and property were very clean. The kitchen was very well equipped. The location was perfect, serene, quiet. The sound of the waves lulled us to sleep at night. Hot tub was a total bonus. Lots of space in the house itself...great layout. The view was outstanding. The upstairs library was chock full of fun and games. Everything in the house worked really well. Plenty of parking and very safe.

Sand Castle Summer 2022

Overall we were very happy with the property and would rent it again. We usually stay with 14 people but this year only had 10 so it worked out perfectly. Easy to get to, room for our party of 7 adults and 3 kids to spread out. The kids loved the hot tub after a day at the beach. If I had to raise one major complaint it would be the lack of view of the beach from the deck and lower level. The overgrowth of the vegetation on the other side of the chain link fenced has not been maintained and so spoiled the view unless you are standing in the right spot. This was a comment from other people and so I had really hoped it had been taken care of before we got there. The main reason I rented this home was for the view from the deck. Having rented many homes in the past I was not surprised by some of the challenges as it seems to happen in every home. Home was older and more worn than appear in the pictures as usual. There were many notes around the house about things that are going to be fixed. The common joke between us was about how long the repair notes have been there as they looked like it has been a while. It got really warm in the afternoon to evening because we couldn't lower the upper blinds due to the remote control not being present. Again not to be overly picky - we really enjoyed our stay and would stay again if we only have part of the family with us.
