Secluded relaxation

This place has everything you need for a relaxing vacation in Moab! Awesome location that is quiet and away from the busier areas so you have space to kick back and get some R and R. 10/10

Nice place for the family to gather

Off the beaten path, but clean (mostly), comfortable, and well laid out. Convenient place to gather the family. Close to Arches National Park; and a relatively short drive to Canyonlands. Lots of stores and restaurants nearby.

No interaction with host. Strong pet odor. Furnishings not as expected. Advertised as separate home, not as attached to other dwellings which were extremely disruptive.

Cozy, well-equipped apartment

The apartment is very cozy and well-equipped. The Jacuzzi is fantastic for winding down in the evenings. The host is responsive and the check-in process was very easy, The location is a bit further away from the city than we anticipated.

Great for large family

The place could have been cleaner, as we had to clean before we'd let the one year old crawl around. But it met our needs as a large group, had everything we needed. We'd book it again

Everything was good

We were able to check into the townhome a little early which was great. Everyone I chatted with was friendly and helpful. There were many appliances in the unit that made the stay much more like home. Plenty of plates and cups for our party of 11. The unit was far enough out of the city that you could see stars at night.

Great place

We had a great time on our trip. The house was nice and most everything worked. I was surprised to find it was a duplex, that was not mentioned and there were other people close by. A guy stood outside our door and smoked for about an hour. But really nothing that was a problem. I would stay here again.

Great stay, once we found it

Unit was cute, extremely well stocked (tons of dishes and towels to last the entire stay) and the basket of snacks left for us in the kitchen was greatly appreciated after the long trip out. Loved soaking in the hot tub after a day on the trails. PLENTY of parking, even room for trailers for guests who trailer their jeeps out. The only complaint is the unit was practically impossible for us to find as we arrived in the dark. There are no exterior lights near the unit number (which is on the side of the house, not near the door where there is a motion-sensitive light). If you follow the directions sent by the owner, you need to make a right into the very FIRST place, by the mailbox that says "1810" (not the unit address, btw). The rental unit is on the right side of the building directly in front of you.

Great time

Moab is awesome, we have come down from Canada a number of times and this place never disappoints. Our stay at the Rustic Retreat was good, worked great for our group lots of parking. The “AC” in the house is 2 portable units that blows the breaker if used at the same time, this would be a big deal in hot months, we were end of September so it was livable. Reached out 2 times to property host with questions, got zero response until 2 days after we left. This and the AC were reasons for 4 stars..

The house was great but we were very disappointed that the hot tub was not working and we were not told about it till we got there.

Pictures were very strategically taken.

The inside of the house was very clean and well stocked. The outside of the house was abysmal. The tiny back yard had a sewer manhole in the middle, the hot tub was full of sand and bees surrounding it, and the landscaping was extremely overgrown. We had a downstairs neighbor come up to tell us our kids were too loud at 9pm, even though we didn't realize there was living space below us let alone people living there. There was a separated yard area next to the driveway that looked like a yard sale & trash collection area and the surrounding neighborhood was just kind of sketchy. The inside had every piece of kitchen device you would need. Fridge was great & clean. Cabinets & drawers were organized. Bedrooms were clean but had small or no closets besides the master. Overall the inside was 4 stars, outside 1 star.

Perfect House!!!

Everything was great!!! Great space for our family. Close to downtown amenities. Kitchen was very well stocked. Nice fenced backyard for the kids to play and also had a hot tub, grill, and fire pit. Everything we could ask for during our visit to Moab.

At home in Moab

Rented this townhome/duplex for four nights. 2 families with 8 total people. Plenty of room to stretch out, great kitchen and laundry. Hot tub was a nice touch after long days exploring Arches NP and Canyonlands NP.

Nice place

It's a nice place. Was fairly clean and had enough room for all the cars and trailers we had. The beds could use updating as they weren't overly comfortable and very Squeaky. Hot tub was nice to have at the end of the day!

Moab Visit

Overall, property was clean and in a decent location. We liked being able to grill some food and the air conditioning worked well. Master bedroom was spacious. The fire/CO alarm went off in the middle of the night scaring the you know what out of us. I was unable to sleep mush the rest of the night putting a damper on our experience. I asked the owner for a discount after the fact and did not hear back. I hope the fire/CO alarm thing is not an ongoing issue!!

Spacious Property

Super experience for the Moab area! Plenty of room for seven adults and a toddler. Large home and large backyard. The home was outfitted well with common needs met easily. As you turn into the drive, you'll be facing the townhome/duplex - this unit is the one on the right (entry on right side of property). The property is on the south end of town, nestled on the foothills. You're 8-10 minutes from downtown, which provides great quiet and seclusion - but not walking distance if that's what you want. Great property for a larger group, which is often very hard to find.

Nice large house for large families

This house was comfortable and clean. GPS got us there fine, although we did use the owners directions our first time going there. The exterior of the house is kind of haphazard, but once you are inside it's great. It was quiet at night. We had the unfortunate timing of vacationing there right when the city was putting in a massive culvert or something in the back yard, so it was all torn up and unusable back there. We were disappointed we couldn't use the fire pit and hot tub. Once we adjusted our expectations to having only the house available, we were fine, since we really did enjoy our stay in the house. The owner was kind and helpful.
