Beautiful Retreat, especially if you can catch it in a snow storm!

The property was perfect for a secluded retreat. We were just looking to escape a busy world for a few days and found serenity here. It was just my husband and I but the home can certainly accommodate the whole family. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking our favorites. The surrounding landscape is stunning. We will certainly rent this again in the future.

Peaceful retreat

Our family, seven adults, stayed here for our first trip to the Moab area. We hiked many trails in the area, mostly Arches national Park, Canyonlands national Park, and Dead Horse State Park. We used this rental as our base camp, taking day trips from here. It was an awesome trip! We are not big on eating out, we'd rather cook for ourselves, the kitchen had everything we needed to keep everyone happy. We typically went through Moab, on our way to our adventures, so stopping at the store every day or two was convenient for us. Would recommend highly!

peaceful stay

A beautiful home in a very quiet location. It was so nice to come back and relax in this house after our busy days out exploring the Moab area. The views of the mountains and desert were absolutely amazing from this house. The house was clean and had everything you needed for an extended stay. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful location

Cabin is located at the base of the La Sal mountains and it was beautiful. When the clouds finally cleared out, we could see all of the snow up on the peaks. Close drive to town to get everything you need and also to all the trails. Location is also very quiet.

A magical house just south of Moab

My family (my husband, two kids, daughter-in-law, and I) were looking for a place for a small reunion. One child lives overseas. We decided that we wanted to stay together in the Arches National Park area. We didn't want to stay in a condo complex; we wanted to be somewhere closer to nature where we could see the night stars. Well, we got the night stars and SO much more. The Luxurious Log Cabin is everything you would wish for, and it lives up to its name. It is located at the foothills of the beautiful La Sal Mountains, about a 15-20 drive from the center of Moab, just south of Arches. The house is absolutely beautiful: the top floor has a large, open-plan kitchen/ eating/ lounging area, a magnificent full bathroom, a study/bedroom filled with books (Edward Abbey fans - take note!), and a beautiful bedroom; the lower floor has a full bathroom, two bedrooms, a gigantic flat-screen TV room, and a laundry room . All the rooms were immaculately clean. The kitchen has everything that you could want for cooking any type of meal, and there were plenty of plates, flatware, and glasses. The views are magnificent. To the east are the La Sal Mountains, to the west are beautiful red sandstone cliffs which reveal themselves through the morning hours. We enjoyed the porch both day and silent night - the stars are spectacular!. The decor is southwestern, with many objects based on nearby petroglyphs. We hiked every day and came home to beauty. Spoil yourselves and come!

Tranquility at its Finest

We had a wonderful stay at this property. Everything advertised was accurate. Nicely appointed and the location of the cabin is perfect! Dark skies with loads of stars. No noise and an easy 20 min drive into Moab. Great for a larger group but my husband and I rented for ourselves. Enjoyed the space and amenities. I would highly recommend this outstanding property. The hosts were responsive and pleasant! We were thrilled!

It's a beautiful property. But, it's about 20 minutes outside Moab. Communication with the property manager was inconsistent. I would definitely recommend this property.

Wonderful trip to Moab

We were so pleased with this cabin for our family trip to Moab. We were looking for something remote from the town and with beautiful landscape and this was perfect. The pictures in the listing don't do justice to the beauty and peacefulness surrounding the area. The property was pristine and had everything we needed. The hosts were responsive and helpful. We hope to return here on our next trip to Moab.

Amazing getaway!

We had a fantastic spring break with our family at this amazing house. While it is a bit out of town, we loved the privacy and extreme quiet. We woke up to deer munching in the yard. The beds were very comfortable, kitchen has everything you need and more, and the radiant floor heating was icing on the cake. We would definitely stay here again!

Lovely and peaceful paradise!

We loved every bit of our stay at this gorgeous home. It is perfectly located. It was secluded and quiet, but still a convenient distance from Moab. It is hard to say which is prettier... the views during the day of surrounding scenery, or the jaw dropping starry sky at night. We enjoyed both immensely. The interior of the home is both spacious and cozy at the same time. We did not cook, but the kitchen appeared to be well equipped with everything you would need. The bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable with soft luxurious linens. I would highly recommend this property and we hope to stay there again in the future when our travels take us to Utah.

Winter holiday in Moab

This upscale, rustic-themed, log cabin home has beautiful views, comfortable bedrooms and beds, and great family gathering spots by the fireplaces upstairs and down stairs. It was spotlessly clean and well equipped. We would happily stay again and further explore the amazing land that lies in all directions.

Magnificent Moab Hideaway

What a fabulous property! The views are amazing. We so enjoyed the warm evenings, having supper outside on the wrap-around deck, marveling at the stars, planets and the setting moon. A true miracle of nature! The house itself was most clean and comfortable. We were welcomed by our hosts with a gracious (and delicious!) bottle of wine, with a lovely note from them, plus a gift of greeting cards from a local artist. We would go back in a heartbeat. Splendid isolation, yet in driving distance to Arches and Canyonlands national parks. Highly recommended!! - R&J, Ossining NY
