Cozy home in central location
Three cozy apartments next to each other with a nice spacious back yard. The apartment is clean and we'll equiped. The area is very quiet and a great place to relax. The location is central, within a few minutes walk to restaurants, stores and food truck mall.

Great little place!
Great place, convenient to downtown, restaurants, etc. Beautiful yard, quiet neighborhood, everything we needed for a great Moab visit. Comfy beds, very clean. The bathroom was very tiny, but workable. Also be aware that the hot tub is shared with the other 2 units - not sure the listing actually states that. Overall wonderful place for a visit to thr National parks.

Perfect Moab Spot for Family
Desert Gardens was great. The courtyard area was perfect for our 5-year-old to play in, and the central location was great. Walkable to many restaurants in downtown Moab. Definitely check out Thai Bella, the restaurant across the street. We ate there twice on our trip!

Great location. Great property
We have stayed at the sister location before, The Calicochita, and this was just as charming. Loved the backyard and the layout of the property. We loved having a kitchen to make some food after a long day of hiking. The patio furniture was wonderful to enjoy that Moab sun!

Peaceful stay in Moab
Excellent property in Moab, central location with great facilities. Very peaceful and quiet location and yet only 100yds from all the major bars and restaurants. Brilliant.

Great location with nice privacy.
This place is great for serving as Basecamp in Moab. We did really enjoy it. It would be five star with two small improvements - the televisions and remotes were difficult to work and the bedroom clothing storage could be better. Again, minor tweaks and maybe really not needed for some guests, we just happened to be staying for an extended time. Would totally stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay at Desert Gardens #3. The unit is well maintained and the decor is lovely. We enjoyed the yard and all the barbecues that are available. The owners were very responsive to all questions.

Great!!
We loved staying in Desert Gardens! The unit was very clean and well maintained. The location is spectacular, so close to downtown and all of the great shops and restaurants. The owners have taken great pride in making updates to modernize the property, and that shows. We will be staying there again!

Poor value, not relaxing
We were unable to book either of the two beautiful VRBOs that we enjoyed in late May 2017, so took a chance at Desert Gardens in late September 2017. It was a mistake! We were largely unable to relax in this place and found ourselves avoiding it. There was a large nondescript yard graced by 4 mature cottonwoods and a maintained hot tub, decent bed and nice kitchen table which we appreciated. However, this place otherwise felt like a hunting cabin! It had several ant traps, sported an antique toilet brush and plunger in the 4x4 ft bathroom, exposed power strips, no decor to speak of and otherwise contained the cheapest things that money can buy. Finishes and furniture were hodgepodge, baseboards dirty, the bedroom felt like a cell per it's tiny window with a view of the cinder block wall ~18 inches away. No top sheet on second bed. Guest were asked to wash dishes, but there was no dish drying rack or dishwasher. and glasses were dirty. We used our camping dishes, thank you. Would not stay here again, nor recommend it to anyone. We felt very ripped off.

Tina, I'm very sorry you felt so poorly about our place. These buildings were built in the 60's but have had many major updates. Since we've purchased the units in 2016 we have completely re-furnished them, purchased new decor and wall art, all new linens, towels, pillows, blankets, flooring throughout, stainless appliances and granite counter-tops. This winter we plan to remodel the bathrooms to make it more modern, paint the entire unit and have new custom wood front doors installed. It's unfortunate you felt everything was dated and hodge podge because we've worked quite hard to make the places more modern and nice. I manage many rentals in Moab and I will say overall the ants in Moab have been terrible this year, so we took extra precaution and placed ant traps around the kitchen floors. We plan to re-configure all the cords for the tv in the living room this year. Being such an old building, the wiring isn't run properly for the tv in the living room, but it is on my list of items to address. Most of our guests find the large green yard very relaxing and an inviting place to come back to after a long day's adventure in the desert. It is stated in our description that there is a shared yard and hot tub. There is a drying rack for dishes underneath the kitchen sink. There's also sponges and dish soap supplied for guests. I'm sorry you were so displeased, but I can assure you we are constantly working to make our rentals nicer and more accommodating for our guests. I welcome you to stay in the future and enjoy some of the newer improvements we continue to make. It is certainly not our intention to leave guests feeling ripped off. Great Place in Moab
Desert Gardens #3 was a cozy and quiet place to stay in Moab. It was in a quiet location - away from the bustle of Main St - but within easy walking distance. We didn't ever actually get in the hot tub but did enjoy the nice yard. It was nicely arranged with plenty of seating for everyone. The cabin itself had everything we needed for our stay and was very clean. I really appreciated the good quality of the towels - and that there were plenty of them. Communication with the owner was excellent. We had a bit of a challenge (auto accident) right before we were scheduled to travel. Curtis was very quick to respond and provide our options. It all worked out as scheduled but we appreciated the quick response. We would definitely stay here again!!

Great location in Moab!
Perfect central location in Moab for outdoor adventures! Close to Main Street but off the beaten path, so it is quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed our stay!

Great Spot in Town at Reasonable Price
Our family of 4 (two adults, two teenagers) stayed in unit 3 for a few days in August. The units are in town within a very short walk to the stores and restaurants and many activities. The courtyard grounds are shady and private and offer a nice retreat from the heat and crowds. Unit three has its own outdoor grill right outside the door. The place was clean and had a lot of charm. The owners provided information about attractions and the town and the property in the unit, so we were ready to hit the ground running. They were flexible with check out time to the extent that they were able. All in all, nice accommodations with everything you need at a reasonable price. Definitely recommend!

Fabulous stay in Moab!
Our family of four stayed in this downtown cottage in Moab for a total of 5 nights. The cottage was spotless and roomy for all of us. We enjoyed having greenery and shade by the trees as it was quite warm during our stay. I used the local aquatic center to swim, my teens used the spa and we all enjoyed sitting outside during the late evening hours. Visiting Arches National Park was close by as well as the downtown area where we ate and wandered. We spent another day bike riding Dead Horse State Park and 4 days rafting Cataract Canyon. There was so much to do and our cottage was close to all these outings. Becky allowed us to store our extra clothes while we rafted which we appreciated very much and Curtis was extremely responsive to our reservation request. We are long time VRBO users and this was one of our favorites. Thanks for sharing your home with us!

Perfect little spot downtown Moab
Everything one could ask for in a Moab rental, perfect location - 1 block of the main drag craziness in a laid back neighborhood. Curt was the kind, generous, and delightful! The house is a very good value, exceptionally clean, great hot tub... would highly recommend it if you are looking to stay in town but don't want to craziness of a large motel... Kevin Feldman

Clean apartment conveniently located with good amenities
This little cottage was perfect for two people. The hot tub was clean and worked well. We could walk easily to restaurants and shops and access many rides from the house. Though not a five star hotel, it is a nice place to stay and quite affordable too. It is private and peaceful at night so it's easy to sleep well. Definitely would stay there again.
