This is our ninth stay at this hotel. For our family, this hotel holds many cherished memories. Its luxury, consistent service, and ever-evolving grand and dramatic presentations and events bring new discoveries with each visit. Although the rooms themselves have started to show a retro feel, similar to the Sheraton in America, it seems to be a consistent concept maintained in their operations. Notably, in the Marriott group in Miyazaki Prefecture, and throughout Japan, most rooms have drinkable tap water. This is remarkable and feels nearly impossible outside of Japan. During our stay, we encountered an issue with the room lighting, but the maintenance staff at the Sheraton responded within minutes. We still felt the luxurious ambiance we experience with each stay. The hotel has laundry facilities, a convenience store, and top-notch restaurants. They also offer various activities to keep guests entertained (this time, there was a complimentary offer of marshmallows and coffee that paired well with them). Although it was raining when we arrived, it soon turned into splendid sunny weather. Even in the rain, the atmosphere was enjoyable, and after the weather cleared, we fully appreciated the ocean view from our room.
