"The property is typically Sicilian so if you’re expecting contemporary and luxury this is not for you, if you want to feel like you’re in Sicily and experiencing their culture this is fabulous. Beautiful grounds, lots of lovely areas to sit and enjoy the scenery. You do need a car aa there is nowhere to walk to from the villa. "We stayed at villa carlino in the “Esclusivo ” apartment for 3 nights . The grounds were beautiful, the bedrooms / bathrooms were comfortable and all was clean . Unfortunately it rained for 2 days while we were there and we couldn’t enjoy the pool . It would have been nice to have an indoor hang out area ( living room ) where all six of us could fit . The location is great for getting to Etna and Taormina ."

"This was the perfect place to end our Sicily trip. The house is comfortable, quiet, and well-stocked. There was a nice area to swim in the ocean a 5 minute walk away and it was a short drive to Brucoli."
