We booked our family vacation with our wants, which was a golf cart, a screened in porch being the most important to us, and also a lake view. Right before our trip, the property manager emailed me and told me that the place we had booked the golf cart broke down, and she mentioned that she thought that was an important amenity to us. Her solution was to move us to another unit that they manage. It had everything except the lake view. So we took it, and we were very happy that they contacted us, so that we could choose. Our place was fabulous ! Thanks again Saltwater Vacays!

Vacation Summer Of 2023 August!!

We have stayed here before 2 years ago, we love the whole resort!! All the Attractions are close by. The Golf Cart makes everything so much easier!! We will definitely book again probably next year sometime in August!!

Awesome Vacation

We really enjoyed our stay. The golf cart was a plus. So much easier to get around. Would highly recommended this cottage. Only problem we had was with the dishwasher. It wouldn’t clean the dishes. Had to wash them all by hand. It’s was a Awesome Vacation.

Pop in surpriser

The location was nice and our arrival was good. However, as we were trying to get settled in, we were surprised by a lady through the rental company that was checking out the place to make sure it was clean and ready. She went through the house checking and when she went upstairs she stayed a good while trying to fix the tv supposedly. I finally told her we wasnt there to watch tv and dont worry about it. I didn't like her being upstairs with all my belongings to be able to go through at all!!!! I dont know this person or company, so that made me Feel very uncomfortable 😕. Also, this woman didnt look to well because we found a shirt and a toy left behind from the other attendants. Overall it was pleasant.

Perfect

This property was perfect for our family in every way. We were traveling with two of our adult children so having individual bathrooms and private spaces as an option to the family space was ideal. The water feature and greenery directly outside the large windows was food to our souls and a wonderful respite from the long, snowy winter we are still experiencing in our northern climate home. We really enjoyed the golf cart. Being this is our second year in Sandestin, we are slowly learning the delightful nooks and crannies , which never seem to end, in this unique community. We were confident about safety and security at all times. We noticed an issue with the golf cart ( missing lug nut) which we reported to the owner/ manager. A repairman was on-site within 30 minutes to our relief. The location was within about two blocks of a heated pool which was less crowded than the centrally located swimming pool. We enjoyed the pool in the evenings as well as in the day. The neighbors are very quiet and the landscaping is beautifully groomed everywhere. We had enjoyable walks, including evening strolls. A grocery store is located nearby and despite the heavy traffic often located outside this gated community, we generally managed our errands in the mornings prior to the rush. In by doing that, the entire area seemed manageable and transformed. It was worth being purposeful in our shopping schedule. The communication with the management support was invaluable and I often thought how very fortunate that both the owner and the customer were to have that representative. I spoke a few times with a very caring and polite young lady as we were making amends to our reservation. We had the opportunity to travel a day earlier than expected and since there was availability, the accommodations were pleasantly arranged for us to rent and check in early. I expected there to be annoyance with my minimal request but I was completely wrong. We were very welcome and treated with great kindness. That young lady ( on the phone) is a great benefit to her employer. We only had drizzle on one morning so we used that time to travel to some nearby sites. The previous year we bought several umbrellas, we didn’t need them this year but I recommend you check the forecast have some in the event there is rain. We have made a mental note of the layout and suggest this is the perfect retirement house plan . It was comfortable in every way.

Perfect for vacation with a dog!

We enjoyed our stay here. The screened porch is excellent when staying with a dog. And the pond backdrop is peacful. Property managers were responsive and helpful when needed. And the 6 person golf cart makes the stay so relaxing. We rarely had to use our car. Highly recommend!

Family vacation.

House was clean and in a quiet neighborhood. The sunroom is great place to start and end your day. Golf cart is a plus. My only complaint is how little “usable beach” there are for people not staying in condos and it gets smaller every year. The ugly beach chairs/umbrellas that belong to the condos are taking over the beach. I highly recommend you show up early if you want a spot near the water.

Very relaxing and enjoyable

Thank you for sharing your resort with us. We really enjoyed our time in Florida. The gated property location was great because of less traffic and congestion, while offering everything we could want. We enjoyed the restaurants and amenities on the property as well as the convenience of the golf cart being available. Access to both the bay and ocean was nice and convenient, as well as shopping, grocery stores and restaurants nearby. Could not have asked for more. The property itself was clean, comfortable, well maintained, and furnished. Would recommend again.

Wonderful home

The location of the home was so quiet and the home was so clean . It was also very nice to have had a golf cart . We used it to drive to the beach and to the Wharf . We truely enjoyed our stay and will be back.

We’ll be back!

This house was perfect for our adult children and teens! Golf cart was a big hit! We’ve stayed in this neighborhood before but this house was perfect for us. Plenty of room and the resort was helpful with golf reservations and we forgot to bring trash bags, they were more than happy to help us! House had plenty of towels, blankets, and pillows. Sun deck was perfect since it rained everyday!

Pretty Good, a little outdated

Would stay again. My main concern may be because we chose a pet friendly unit but the unit has a bit of 70-80s feel. The doors and windows are a bit old. Regarding family safety several windows were unlocked downstairs and screen doors a bit crickety. We had to use a stick to as a lock to patio sliding door ! There was an attic door that felt really odd and almost unsafe to leave kids alone. TVs Were nice but no cable only netflix and there was uneven audio visual playback. Golf cart was awesome and location was great. Neighborhood Had a resort feel.

Clean and Cozy Pet friendly house

Great house and neighborhood! Loved the golf cart ! The swimming pool was close by and actually cool water in June ! Our entire family loves the house ! Only suggestion would be putting a ceiling fan in the upstairs bedroom as it was too hot for our daughter at night . Will stay here again !
