Relax, unwind and be active

Great location near Baytowne Wharf! Golf carts were our favorite way to get around to local shops, golf, entertainment and the beach! House was very clean and welcoming. We will definitely be back!

Great Location

We stayed here as our anual friends summer vacation and it was the best stay so far. The place was super clean and exactly as stated on listing. With little ones in our group we really appreciated how close it was to all the shops and restaurants. The distance to the beach was a 5 out of 5 and the amenities it offered was a great bonus. There was never a day in our stay where we didn’t find something to do nearby. We did have some technical difficulties (not charging properly) with one of the golf carts but as soon as we called about it they put in a work order and had a technician out to the property the same day to fix the issue.

First vacation

This was our first vacation and we enjoyed our stay greatly. The propane tank was empty so we didn’t get to enjoy the grill. 😕 The kitchen was well stocked with items needed to cook. Just a suggestion…a few more hand towels in the kitchen. Otherwise everything was great. Beds super comfy.

Spring break success

This is a beautiful home with all the amenities you could need. Having 2 golf carts was so convenient and made our trip so fun. The home was very clean and had all the linens and cookware we needed. It was very nice to have several beach chairs to use. All the rooms have TVs and there is a sound system throughout the house to listen to music. I would love to come back to this location for our next Destin vacation!

Great house

Check in was easy two golf carts made it nice even when we only had 5 people and one was a 4 year old that only wanted to ride on the back. The house was great close to shopping and ice cream for the kids. Would stay again

LOVED IT

The house was beautiful and very clean. We loved exploring the neighborhood on the golf carts. We had four generations with us - our daughter and her husband, their 2 year old daughter and my mother-in-law. The kitchen, with its high-end appliances, was a great gathering place while we cooked dinner each evening. It was perfect for us.

Comfortable house.

My Vacation Haven manages this property. Customer service is not their first priority, In my opinion. I have seen their responses to some negative reviews below and they say all the right things, but do not deliver results. We experienced some of the same issues stated by others in reviews from months ago that are still a problem today. This leads me to believe they were dishonest with me when I spoke to management about something. At times, I was spoken to with a condescending tone. It appears to me that a culture of customer service is lacking with this company.

My Vacation Haven is not the best at handling issues or responding.

The house itself was great! Our vacation overall was amazing except for the fact we had one golf cart to use and the second one would not charge over 54% even being charged all night with the only one being plugged in. My Vacation Haven has a paper stating drive at your own risk and pay for a tow if the golf cart isn't charged above 50%. When we first arrived, the breaker had already been tripped because 2 golf carts are plugged into the wall, so the garage door just opened manually not with the opener. My Vacation Haven came out and figured that out the first day because neither golf cart was charged more than 54%. On day 4 we were frustrated that the 4 seater golf cart still couldn't be used because it wasn't charging enough. The manager came out and said "Looking at the batteries in the golf cart you should be fine, 50% is actually 100% charge." ??????? You can drive it just fine and wanted the "paper" that had the 50% statement on it. We took a picture and highlighted the area and have contacted them many times on how they are going to handle this situation because we only had a 2nd golf cart for one evening and the day we left. We rented knowing we would have 2 golf carts available. To say the least we were not impressed with the rental company at all and are embarrassed at how they handled the whole situation. I hold them personally to high standards because one of my sisters just sold her vacation home in this same subdivision a few months back and used this management company. My sister and brother in law went above and beyond when the rental company did not come thru for their guests, especially considering the percentage they pay them. My other sister still currently owns a vacation home in that neighborhood and uses the same management company, my brother in law makes sure everything is taken care of as well to make sure guests are happy. Make sure there are enough beach chairs, etc and everything is fully stocked. The only one complaint about the house that has 3 bedrooms is they only provided 3 beach chairs for the whole house.

Perfect Location

We really enjoyed our stay! The location was perfect for our group. The house was very clean and comfortable. We had a couple of issues, but maintenance was quick to respond. Just a heads up for anyone staying with a large group….stagger your shower taking. Water pressure diminishes quickly. Other than that, it really was perfect!

Very comfortable and well-appointed.

The property was beautiful. Wish one of the ice makers would have worked. The home is very comfortable and beautiful! The other improvement I could suggest would be is replacing toilet in main bedroom with a “chair height”. Older guests find it very difficult using a shorter toilet. Other than that, it was Great!

Rent This One! Awesome!!

You will have no regrets renting this property! The location is perfect! The home is beautifully decorated and comes with everything you could possibly need. If you're a coffee drinker the unit has a small programable pot and a kreuig. This was important to us.... LOL....The home is much bigger than it looks from the outside. You can fit a ton of people in this house if needed. It has high end everything! The only negative thing I can say about this home is about the living room rug (LOL) I have a grandson who is trying to walk and the rug is made of a knotted jute..... he gave it a thumbs down for comfort. :) But, seriously the owners have done a wonderful job with decor...amminities and location of this home. Also, the pool is about 6 houses down the street from the property. Our family loved it and will book again!!

Convenient location and 3 bedrooms all with en suites

Would definitely stay again. Perfect for 3 couples. The kitchen had everything you would need to make any meal. Plenty of plates, glasses, pots, pans, etc. Also had a Keurig and a blender. Beds were all comfortable and plenty of bathroom towels. 6 person golf cart was great, but does need adjustment with the steering. Overall an excellent stay!!

Owner canceled last minute.

We had booked this property in October for spring break in March. Around March 1st the owner cancels on us. We were forced into paying more for another property. I did appreciate the vacation haven group. They were friendly to deal with. But we got a much less desired property for more money. I will not rent from Gibson properties again. Very bad business folks.

Excellent t home

This home was beautiful in every way! We loved the closeness to Baytowne, shopping, and restaurants. The golf cart was a bonus as well, since didn't have to leave the resort if we did not want to. We enjoyed all the amenities the house had to offer. The master shower was to DIE FOR!!! We went with another couple and chose this property for the ensuite bathrooms.
