Great property and exactly as advertised. Golf carts make everything in Sandestin accessible and easy to get to. Bunk room was perfect for the kids. Would definitely recommend.

Paradise in SanDestin

My family and I stayed at this wonderful property and highly recommend it . The neighbor hood amenities were wonderful, convenient and fun. Sitting on the porch overlooking the golf course was relaxing and therapeutic. The golf carts were a great compliment to getting around the property. Beach access is great and close to everything in Destin. Can't wait to go back!

2 carts a major plus. Clean house and bathrooms for all bedrooms key with a large family group. Overall nice would recommend!

This house was perfect for 2 families. 4 adults and 5 kids. Easy to got to everything we wanted. Loved having 2 golf carts.

Beautiful property! All the Amenities that You need to make your stay enjoyable. The Property manager was so very helpful with a couple of issues that we had that was very easily resolved. Could not ask for a better place! The location is extraordinary, access to pools shopping meals anything you could want!!! Highly recommend!

Family Vacation

Beautiful home. This is our second you’re staying and we absolutely enjoyed it. I love the convenience of the area, close to shopping and eateries. Do you have access to two golf carts that allow you to explore the community, go across to the beach, go shopping, or Get a meal without having to leave the community. The home is furnished with all the amenities that make your visit comfortable and convenient. Do you have access to beach umbrellas floats, beach toys, chairs, and a wagon. This is great if you have small children, or you are traveling a long distance to visit the beautiful Florida beaches

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: House was beautiful with pleanty of space very comfortable. Having two golf carts is a huge plus. We have stayed in this same area several times and it has always been amazing. My only complaint is there were no trash bags, dish detergent dishwasher soap and one of the terminals came off of the golf cart and I had to repair it. When I notified My Vacation Haven they didn't attempt to help.

Reviewer Comments: I found it very odd that someone's riding around at midnight taking photographs so they can collect $100 from someone who left their trash out overnight. We also called and asked for the location of the nearest fitness center and we were told we needed to ask Sandestin. Have no idea what that means but we found out later there are fitness centers all over the grounds at Baytown Wharf. Lots of roaches inside and out. But overall it was a nice stay.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We truly enjoyed our stay at this rental property. The location was excellent, and it was fantastic to have a pool so close by. The home was very clean and appeared to be well-maintained, making for a comfortable stay. The beach room was perfect and included plenty of sand toys for the kids, which they loved.However, we did encounter an issue with the Wi-Fi, as it did not consistently work. This definitely needs to be addressed with the Internet company. Additionally, we felt that the golf carts could use an upgrade to include more seats and safety belts.Despite these minor issues, we hope to stay here again in the future. It truly was a gem of a rental property!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Would not choose this property again. Upon arrival, noticed floors were dirty throughout. Chairs in living room so worn and dirty, we didn’t want to sit in them. Ice maker broke and we reported it. Machine stated it needed cleaning and a new filter. Technician came and said filter would have to be ordered. Had to buy bags of ice for remainder of our stay. One of the bathroom sinks upstairs was clogged upon arrival and had to be repaired. Internet was in and out daily. Not reliable at all. One of the golf carts is missing the second seat so could only accommodate two people. Beds were comfortable. Great location on the golf course but we paid way too much money to deal with the issues mentioned above.

Awesome stay!!!

1892 Villa Lago was great, well maintained, and super clean! Everyone was very courteous, from the front gate guardsmen to property management the entire time. We enjoyed getting around everywhere on the golf carts! I didn’t use my vehicle once after I arrived. We had golf cart access everywhere, including both pools, the beach (the kids really enjoyed the tunnel under the highway) and even the local grocery store and near by shopping and restaurants. Of course the Baytowne Wharf was great in the evenings too! We had such a great time! Thank you for allowing us to stay! I highly recommend this unit!

A Good week vacation in Sanderson, Florida

The home was beautiful and very pleasant to reside in for a week. We were notified of 2 problems before we arrived which were very disappointing. We choose this house because it had 2 golf carts and bunk beds. We were notified the day before arrival that one of the golf cards was broken and one of the bunk beds as well. I also reached out to them on the Monday of our stay to let them know one of the stools was wobbly and a bit dangerous for kids along with a faucet which was leaking. We needed to keep a washcloth wrapped around it so it would not leak all over the counter. I didn’t hear anything back until Thursday. They offered to come on Friday to fix the stool and faucet but I asked them to not bother until we left because we were leaving the next day. There never was any resolution for the bunk bed or the golf cart. I was not impressed with the property manager and would have preferred to work directly with the property owner. The problems were not resolved and communication with the property manager was disappointing. Again, the over all house was delightful. The issue for us was how it was managed and lack of response to the problems which popped up. If the owners would like to know about our stay directly, they are welcome to call.

Nice location

The house was beautiful and the location within the Sandestin Resort community was fantastic. The two-golf carts were an added bonus; they made the short trip to the beach very easy. My only complaint is with the furniture within the house. Considering the high price of the property, I would have expected the living room furniture and outside patio furniture to be in better condition; they definitely are worn down and need to be replaced. The outdoor cushions were so dirty, we didn’t even want to sit on them. Also, the master bedroom mattress is sinking and needs to be replaced. The property was very spacious and clean, but I would not stay in this property again due to the mattress alone.

Amazing

I absolutely loved my stay here! Not only was it fully stocked with everything we needed, it even came with BEACH GEAR (beach toys, coolers, wagon etc.) we literally only had to bring a few items such as food and beverage and our clothes. If you are looking for a relaxing place to stay? I definitely recommend this rental!

Wow!!!

I found and booked this gem for my little family and our two best friend couples. I was a little worried that it would be a bit tight with 6 adults and 3 kids but it actually couldn’t have been a more perfect fit for all of us! From each room having a king bed to the kids on suite bathroom having a bathtub and everything in between; we couldn’t have been happier with the space and accommodations of this home. The golf carts made the trip seamless! We were all able to fit on both carts comfortably. Also, having two made it so easy to split up and go our own direction here and there. We loved being able to jump on a cart and run over to Publix, Starbucks, the beach or wherever else our little hearts desired! The back patio faces the golf course and away from the hot afternoon sun, which made the evenings in the backyard VERY comfortable and enjoyable. If I had to pick just a few things that I was not over the moon about, it would be some of the dishes, carpets and back patio furniture. The carpets throughout the house were worn and dirty, there were a wide range of dishes that had been put back in the cabinets with food and finger prints on them and then the back patio furniture cushions were also worn and dirty. These obviously are very quick and easy fixes and didn’t at all hinder our time at the house, just a few suggestions to make guest’s stay even better!

Enjoyable stay at beach house

Property was very nice and offered the amenities we were looking for. The house was well appointed, beds were very comfortable, and use of the golf carts was a huge plus. All of the beach supplies and toys were very helpful, as it prevented us from having to either pack them upon travel, or purchase at the beach. I would recommend this beach house to other families who have either young or old kids. There is plenty of stuff to do at the beach or the in the wharf area, especially once restaurants and stores fully open back up from COVID. For some constructive feedback, I would recommend adding in a few more cooking utensils and pots/pans, along with upgrading the coffee maker and toaster. Overall a very nice property and would rent again.
