The house was very clean and spacious! The kitchen was stocked with everything that you could think of to cook any kind of meal. Would definitely book again. My family had a blast!

This is our 3rd stay to SanDestin over Christmas Break for our family. We love staying in Villa Lago. This unit was exactly as described and had so many extra beach chairs, beach toys etc in the garage than mentioned. Our family enjoyed the 2 golfcarts so we could divide and go to the beach or the heated pool, shopping or the Wharf etc. Every morning we enjoyed sitting outside and watching the golfers go by and evening time sitting and reading on the upstairs balcony area. The unit was very clean. Hosts were overly communicative and wonderful to deal with. We will be back! Thank you again!

Great week

Great rental. Had everything we needed plus! Had a fun thanksgiving week with my family. The golf carts make the week so much easier and more enjoyable, so much easier to hop in and out of especially with kids !

Loved this property

My family and I absolutely loved this property. Great location and loved the golf carts. There was a problem with one of them but when alerted someone came to fix right away. Will definitely be back!

Amazing Vacation Experience

The property was exactly as listed and great for families with small children. The two golf carts were perfect for going around the resort, the beach and grocery store. The unit was well stocked with kitchen items/utensils, beach equipment, and towels/linens. The property managers were great at responding to maintenance issues in a timely manner; however, the dishwasher never got fixed but we just resorted to paper plates and utensils instead (less cleaning for us!)

5 star house, golf carts need maintenance check

We enjoyed our stay and had plenty of room for our large family. The house was amazing! We did have trouble with the golf carts keeping their charge. Not sure if it was an electrical problem, or the batteries, or both. A simple yearly golf cart maintenance check is needed!

Nice home!

Almost everything was perfect! I was disappointed that they had no bikes we could use, zero spices (salt, pepper- they had none). I hope this doesn’t discourage you from renting it. Just remember bring your own spices . ;)

Great location and space for family

We enjoyed our stay! We had multiple family members ranging in ages 2-70. Each room upstairs has a full bathroom and that was so nice!! Everything was very clean and nicely decorated. Every bed was so comfortable! The room with the crib did have the door on the closet (unlike the picture), so that was a little confusing and hard to use for our 2 year old. The two golf carts were fantastic (we only rent places with two carts, so it was perfect!) and we enjoyed that there were many beach items to use in the garage. We enjoyed the back patio each morning and evening. The items in the kitchen were a little hard to locate (everything was kind of all over the place in cabinets and drawers and the pantry) and we were missing having a blender, but ended up buying a single smoothie maker to take back home with us. However, we were so glad it had a pantry, as not all houses do! The fridge was a little small and missing the glass on the bottom shelf, so that minimized our available space. All in all, we would definitely recommend staying here and we would stay here again!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our families frequent the Sandestin neighborhood, this was unfortunately one of the more stressful experiences although we are glad they worked to try and make it right. Upon arrival we noticed there was only one golf cart (advertised two) and we were never informed one was in the shop. We did not get the golf cart back until the day before our stay was over. Two golf carts was one of the primary reasons for our booking. The unit itself was fine, Upstairs guest had a damaged towel hook, and the shower door fit was not quite right so it too more effort to open that (minor issue but a small nuisance). Other than that, everything else was in working order. Wish we would have had better communication and transparency about the golf cart not working.

Girls weekend

Group of 11 women 60+ all grade school friends weekend. Great place easy to accommodate everyone from pool, beach or shopping. Cooked most meals in, kitchen well stocked. Fantastic night out at Rum Runners for excellent food and entertainment with dueling pianos. Con As many other post golf carts very disappointing. Blue one doesn’t hold charge for anytime and runs like it is about to give out at any minute. Gold one no lights so could not use at night. We did report and someone came to check it out but unable to fix it. So basically, we had one golf cart that we could use during the day only This was a big disappointment because we actually picked this house over first choice because we needed the 2 6 seater and other one had 2 6 seater and 1 4 seater…. but in reality, we certainly did not get our moneys worth insulation worth for that.

Returning Renters

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have rented this unit for the past two summers for a two-week period each time. We really enjoy the unit and its layout. It works perfectly for our family. The beds and pillows are very comfortable and the unit itself is clean and inviting. This year, however, was a little disappointing in a few areas. First, the front door still doesn’t have a shade for privacy at night or when we are away. The Wi-Fi in our unit did not work most of the stay and we weren’t able to access the TVs’ programs when we were in the unit. Next, the refrigerator inside was broken in a couple of places. The bottom drawer was missing a cover and the vegetable drawers were also missing tops which meant there was no way to put anything on top of those areas. This cut down on the amount of usable space inside the refrigerator. Last, the golf cart parked inside the garage was not performing well. It was very slow and was also slow to react when the gas pedal was pressed all the way to the floor. In the end, we very much enjoyed our stay for a second year and would absolutely book this unit again. We appreciate the attention to detail provided by the owners to stock the kitchen and provide most of what we would need to make our stay wonderful!

Great Neighborhood

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great house and great neighborhood. We could not find a key to 1 golfcart and issue was resolved very quickly. Fyi for those that book, keurig does not work, nespresso machine kind of works, they do have a reg coffee pot too. Dislay on stove does not work, at first we could not figure out how to turn oven off, seems like a fire hazard. Blender is also broken. If you plan on staying a few days or more, bring trash bags, laundry detergent and dishwasher detergent, you get A trash bag, and two pods each of dishwasher and laundry soap. There is no salt or pepper etc. They do have pots and pans though. It would also have been nice to have more of a layout of the neighborhood ammenities...we just happened to stuble across the golf cart tunnel to the beach, which was great, but being our first time there we did not know about a lot that the resort had to offer. Can not stress enough that the resort community was perfect for families, we have 5 kids, teens to preschool and there was something for everyone. Very safe neighborhood. We will stay in Sandestin again!
