Excellent location & would stay again but need more attention to detail. Only 1 remote downstairs had working batteries & wi-fi not working at all. However garbage disposal was fixed quickly when we called.

Family Getaway

The property was as advertised and in great condition. The only minor the issue is when you have both Golf carts charging at the same time, we were blowing fuses as the electrical panel, it wasn't designed too charge 2 of them on the same circuit. But an easy fix since we just ran a cord out from the entryway, and that took care of it. In going to the Destin area for the past 25 plus years, this location is one of the best and I would recommend it. issue is when you have both golf carts, charging in the

Will book again!

We enjoyed our stay and we will absolutely book again! We loved the convenience of the golf carts, after arriving we never got in our vehicles! Everything you need you can get to by using the golf cart; beach, restaurants, shopping and family fun! The condo came stocked with plenty of items for the beach like chairs and umbrellas and we were greatful for that! Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Our family of 10 was there to celebrate my wife's 70th birthday. Baytown Wharf is a hidden jewel in the Destin area and the golf cart made it all so convenient.

Lovely Place

This is the send year we have rented this property for 30 days in June/July. It is a very nice home that is light, bright and well maintained! We appreciate My Vacation Haven’s good service and response to any issues. We will definitely be back again next year.

Second visit to this property

We have visited Sandestin for about 30 years and always stayed in different houses. This was our second year in a row booking this house. Everything is clean, neighborhood is great, checkin/out is super easy. Love the decor. No complaints!

Abstance property review

Property was very nice and clean upon arrival. The ice machine did not work and we reported that as soon as we noticed. A couple of people came out to look at it and had to order a part for it. Other than that, we no issues and enjoyed our stay.

Relaxing

We really enjoyed our stay in Sandestin. We have a group of friends that vacation together every year. We have been in Villa Lago many times. This unit was super clean. Furnishings were well maintained. We worried about nothing and had such a relaxing time. There were adorable packages at every sink that had all the essentials. Management communicated several times through text, just to check in and see if we needed anything. Very attentive. I would stay here again!

Excellent communication throughout the whole process via text messages or phone calls. Receptive to answering questions. Excellent location, loved the golf cart, close to the beach. The house was very roomy. Loved having 4 bedrooms and 4 full bathrooms. On the golf course, just minutes away from Baytowne Wharf. Beautiful neighborhood to walk. Very close to pool. Quick action taken on maintenance concerns. Very positive experience!!! Would certainly recommend.

Awesome Family Vacation

This property was beautiful. The house was clean, very spacious and accommodated our family of 11 very well. The resort/location was probably our favorite thing about it. The access to the pools, tennis courts, golf and the proximity to the Wharf was awesome. Just a quick ride down to the wharf and you have access to a lot of cool stores and restaurants. We felt very safe the whole time we were there. The beach wasn’t as close as I would have imagined by reading the description of the rental, but the golf cart was helpful to get us there. We did have trouble charging the golf cart a couple of days but we called and they sent someone down very quickly to fix it for us. Overall it was an amazing time with family and we definitely want to be back!

Great place…Poor management (non accommodating)

First thing firs… the condo itself… Beautiful! It fit everyone in our family which included 5 adults (2 over 70 years of age) and 3 teenagers. We had plenty of space and would’ve if we even had a few more. The property inside and out has been maintained well. The issue upon arrival (so we thought..I’ll get to that) was the independent ice machine that didn’t work. I did like the thought of having that ice machine but luckily we didn’t really need it on this trip (the grandmas aren’t big on frozen margaritas). Fast forward to the beginning of what would be a nightmare for us on this trip. THE GOLF CART. We arrived on Saturday evening, so we didn’t get to take the golf cart out and enjoy anything. Come Sunday morning as we drove the golf cart away from our unit we noticed an issue with the cart, the front drivers side tired had popped and wasn’t just a leak… it had completely split. It was obvious that the tires had not been inspected (as the notice I received in my app had indicated). The tires had zero tread on the front two tires and very little on the back ones as well. I immediately took the cart back to our unit and called my vacation haven to let them know of the issue. This was on a Sunday morning so I didn’t get anyone on the phone so I had to leave a message. Once hours had passed I sent them a text (11:20am) stating my issue again. Still no response, so being ever so patient I kindly sent another message at 12:30. Finally I did receive a message back around 1pm that stated they would get someone out to look at it. No apologies, sorry for the inconvenience …Nadda! It was Monday morning before they got an actual technician to look at the golf cart. Little did I know this cart was leaving to never come back. Keep in mind we have two 70+ (74 and 78 year old to be exact) women in the house that can’t walk to the end of the street much less over a mile into the village. Everyday I sent in and called in asking for updates on the golf cart as it was SOLELY the reason we decided on this unit. Crickets for most of those inquiries. My biggest gripe about this all was that the property management group refused to accommodate us outside of a small refund. This ruined our trip as a family as the older women were forced to stay inside most of the time while we walked down into the village. It even forced us to spend more money to rent a car (not accounted for in our refund). Such a shame, still waiting on my refund as well

Lovely Property!

After 18 years of owning in Miramar Beach, we sold our home in October 2021. I was worried about becoming a renter, and to my surprise, it was nothing short of fabulous! We stayed at this property for a month and hope to return again next year! The house is light, bright, recenlty updated, and well maintained! We loved the convenience of the community, having a golf cart to use, and the various amenities nearby like tennis, paddle boarding, and restaurants. The management company was fantastic and incredibly attentive. When I called with any questions or issues they gladly helped and sent someone out the same day.

Perfect for family vacation!

The house is beautiful and big enough to accommodate a family. Beautiful area and close to all the amenities. Short golf cart or drive to the beach. Management company is very responsive when issues arise. Would consider again for future vacation.
