Love the location

We have stayed in this neighborhood before. We love the location. Having two golf carts was great for when our group wanted to go separate ways. Walking distance to Baytowne wharf! Everything was clean, the beds were so comfortable. It was an all around great stay! Highly recommend!

We have stayed in this neighborhood 6 times so far. First time at this residence. The house was good, clean and true to the pictures. Location is great because it’s at the front of the neighborhood and right across the street from the pool. It’s backyard also backs up to the golf course which we love !However, there are a few things I did not love. Yes this house comes with two golf carts…. They are SLOW! Like 14mph SLOW. Like you have to pull over and let other golf carts pass you SLOW. That was super frustrating. The battery life on them is horrible as well. One cruise around the resort and the battery life drops to 50%. Also this house has NO beach towels or chairs to use. Many of the other houses I’ve stayed at in this neighborhood have beach towels and chairs and sand toys for my kids. So we were left to buy towels at Publix for 20 a pop, because I’m not packing towels from home and bringing them. I am not sure I would stay here again just because I have stayed in others that have faster golf carts that hold their charge, and have towels and chairs for the beach. Beautiful home though!

It's the small things that set a property apart

It is an okay place to stay, but I have stayed at many properties in Sandestin, and this one is at the bottom of my list. The garage had trash and sticky waste on the garage floor from the trash One golf cart was very slow. The air condition vent in the family room leaks water; the locks on the front and back doors must be shelved to open. TV has cable boxes hanging over the top, and the TV shuts off in some rooms. The parking area is small.

Birthday Vacation

The house was spacious and had the perfect amount of space for our family. The property management was very responsive and helpful. Three of the rooms having the bathroom inside the bedrooms was also a plus. One of the golf carts did not work for the entire stay we were there, and we received a parking violation from the HOA for a vehicle having about 6 inches of the tire on the pine straw. Once the golf cart is fixed I would recommend the property, but make sure you follow the HOA Rules or they will fine you which seemed to be a way of taking it to visitors in the neighborhood.

Not what we expected

We paid a lot to stay at this property for our summer family vacation. The home ended being really outdated and not as clean as I expected. The televisions in the rooms kept having issues with the internet. The doors were hard to lock and the upstairs balcony door locked backwards, locking my daughter out on the balcony for over an hour when we were not there. The largest issue were the golf carts. This was one of the main amenities we were excited about for this property. The gift carts were older and gave us so many problems. I was so embarrassed for my family when we had to continuously turn the golf cart around to go back to the property because ii was going so slow and bouncing on us. I was extremely disappointed in this property.

Love the property and location. Love the decor. Two golf carts was a plus and very convenient. We were appreciative the washer and dryer was upstairs. The water is not hot enough for the upstairs Master Bedroom tub. So, it was nice but not functional. Also, the dishwasher leaked water. It felt like maybe we were the first rental since last summer. I would rent it again, but I would address those issues first.

Wonderful Place to Stay

The house was truly one of the best highlights of our trip! We chose it over others partly because of the ample seating in the living room, and around the dining room table, for our group to gather and hang out. The space just couldn’t have been any better. Everything was clean and inviting. The kitchen had everything we needed. The golf carts were the icing on the cake! It was so fun to be able to just hop in the carts and go, to Baytown or to the beach. We simply LOVED our stay in this house.

Loved our stay

House is beautiful and location is great; the house is well stocked. We had issues with the A/C and the golf carts but couldn’t have asked for better response from the manager. They are so quick to get back with you, we were texting pretty regularly. They handled everything very well and ensured we had minimal interruptions to our family vacation. Love Beach Blue!!

House was fine for our short stay. We had electrical and garage issues but quickly fixed.

The garage would not shut properly and I had to adjust the sensors and it worked. Having two golf carts was very nice and they performed perfectly. We had an electrical issue (bathroom lights would not work), the management team was highly responsive in repairing. The location was perfect and the house was as advertised,

Golf Carts do NOT work

The house was fine and as advertised...I would echo what I read from other visitors, that the covers on the furniture and kitchen chairs need to be WASHED or Replaced...they have stains/spills on them and need attention. Nice chairs and boogie boards for beach in garage. It seems the electrical panel in this house can not handle the load....master bath lights tripped the breaker...every morning the garage breaker was tripped. We believe the 2 golf carts charging in the garage are too much for the electrical available, and it trips the breaker as this happened EVERY Night. So we are assuming the Golf Carts never got a good charge. Speaking of that, the Big Problem was the Golf Carts. They left us stranded more than once...both of them. We had to leave one in a parking lot on the property and get picked up by someone else....called the property management and told them we left it there. They are pretty old and it seems there's not enough electrical power to charge them in that garage. Sandestin resort is awesome and we all had a good time...but for sure there are issues that need to be addressed as we do not feel we got the value we expected for what we paid

The location & amenities were outstanding! The only minuses would be we had some trouble getting our actual property address in advance & had to call on that and the other downfall was the dining space Chairs had slipcovers and we’re absolutely dirty & stained … the rest of the house was beautiful & comfortable and we would request that house again when we return another time.. kitchen was stocked well, everything worked…. A larger golf cart would have been great for our group but the two 4-seaters were great to have…

Villa Lago is a go!

Fantastic stay and everything was top-notch. We looked at hotels and this was by far the best find. The decor, appliances, golf carts, and layout were perfect for a family! The bedrooms, baths, and kitchen all were well designed with quality finishes. The property layout was perfect for a family of 5-6, especially with teens. We had such a fun time there and will look to next year as another option! What a great spring break and the house was a big part of it! . Would recommend this for families with teens. thank you.

Beautiful home in great location

This home is beautifully decorated and in an excellent location sitting on the golf course. Plenty of causal seating for lounging and watching TV and an abundance of eating space with a large dining table and seating at the kitchen counter. Close to shops and restaurants with the community pool across the street. It was great to have golf carts to get around. The beach is about a 5 minute ride on the golf cart. I had to contact the management team several times and they responded to my issues immediately and were very friendly. I would recommend that the garage and golf carts be cleaned. Also I would suggest that small things like salt and pepper, coffee filters and more than one trash bag be provided. It would be nice to have beach chairs and an umbrella to use at the beach. I would definitely stay her again.

Nice spot

We enjoyed our stay at this property. The location is in close proximity to the wharf which the kids enjoyed. We had a minor water leak which the property management addressed quickly. We didn’t report it but the dryer really wasn’t functional. Bedding was comfortable and clean. Golf carts were a great addition and made the distance to the beach manageable. Overall a great spot to enjoy the various amenities of the area.
