Great Vacation Home!

It was beautiful, spacious and clean. It was convenient to the beach, walking distance. The upstairs wrap around porch was definitely a plus! We enjoyed this home and will definitely do it again👍

Accommodation Quality was bad

We tried to call and share the feedback numerous times. They didn't want to listen or talk to us, just text and frustrate us. We spent a lot of money and think they should at least listen, care and done something. Basically, gave us the run around. The rental location was fine, that's where it ended. House was a mess, not clean to a reasonable standard. AC hardly worked house was never comfortable 78 when we arrived. The kitchen had no cutting board, baking sheets, toaster, potholders or basic cooking utensils. The bench at the kitchen table leg was broken, I almost fell off. The carpet inside the front door was curled really bad on all 4 corners, could hardly open door and was an absolute tripping hazard. Primary bedroom tub was out of order (should have disclosed) and primary TV had no channels. Spare bedrooms had TVs that were a joke, one was like a 12-inch monitor and I'm being generous. It also had no hookup or channels, just a crappy DVD player, the other was not operational as well. The ceiling fan in my son's room had missing screws and was extremely out of balance, could not be used. The $12.00 coffee pot was absolutely disgusting, and the list goes on. Our one vacation this year with our grown kids home from med school and rounds, for one week and looking forward to it and we all were so disappointed. I rented a lot of places, last year on Orange beach without issues but this place was a dump, not ready for guests and to make matters worse Real Joy doesn'

AC wasn’t putting out much cold air, refrigerator wasn’t cold enough and a small bench collapsed when an elderly woman sit on it. Bench had a bad leg.

Family friendly stay

Property was as described. Private beach access was nice, as was community pool. There were a lot of families staying, so lots of kids in the pool and hot tub. When we realized we only had one dish towel, a text to the property manager was all we needed and we had three delivered within 10 minutes. My brother said the AC didnt work, but it wasnt too hot that we NEEDED it. Just opened some windows. Would stay again!

Awesome time!

My wife, 2 kids and 2 of their friends came down to Destin and had a great time! Best place we’ve stayed at! Close to the beach and on site pool was nice! Will try to stay here again! Perfect for larger family with teens!

Great Place

Was there for Spring Break and the house was great. Plenty of space for 8 people that stayed. Nice little cottage area and a short walk to the private beach. We will rent again.

Wonderful

Great cottage close to beach. Everything needed was supplied. Wish there were beach towels and wagon/beach toys provided with cottage so we didn’t have to bring our own though. Clean and communication was quick.

Some of the bathrooms only had a half roll of toilet paper and we were left two trash bags for 6 people for 5 days. Some of the bathrooms didn’t have trash bags. The master bedroom had stains in the mattress and mattress cover. The coffee filter and grounds weren’t emptied from the coffee maker. The kitchen countertops had sugar or sand all over them. Other than the cleanliness issues, the property was nice and in a great location.

The online process for renting this property through RealJoy was an easy process. All my questions were responded to in a quick manner. The accommodations met our needs and was neat and clean as stated in the contract. Our family enjoys cooking, the kitchen was spacious enough for preparing daily meals (no need to fight the crowded restaurants). Thanks for allowing us to rent the property and make family memories.

Would rent again

Was very pleased with the cleanliness of the condo and its location. The kitchen was well equipped and had nice cooking utensils, silverware and sharp knives. It had a crock pot. The beds were comfortable. No problems with Wi-Fi or T v's. The pool was nice but small and the week we were there everything was extremely crowded .. beach, restaurants and pool. I might add our worst experience was not with the condo but with all the traffic on our way down. We had 2 days of stressful travel.

Excellent family home!

Very clean, well stocked home. (Puzzles were a bonus on the rainy days - even if they were missing a few pieces) Super close to the beach and the heated pool/hot tub were amazing! Excellent location, near grocery store and many restaurants! Our family made many memories!

Great location

Great location, Beautiful beach, home was very accommodating. Only negative is that the home does get a bit warm in the day and you can’t turn the A/C down below a certain temperature. So if you’re hot natured bring a fan or two.

Can’t wait to come back!!

We were very happy with the rental. The location was perfect and close to everything pool, beach and shopping. Our kids could freely go outside and we didn’t have to worry about cars because it was a gated entry and very quiet. My Blue Heaven has plenty of space for our large family and was very comfortable and clean. Already planning our return!!!

Great location!

We love this neighborhood! Great location and just about everything you need for a beach getaway! We were never able to find a BBQ grill that was mentioned in the advertisement so that was disappointing as we cooked in most days after a long day at the beach. The ice maker didn’t work, so we had to buy ice almost daily and the carpets needed a good cleaning (important for our family with small children crawling and playing on the floor). Wasn’t our favorite vacation home that we have been to, but you can’t beat the location!
