Beautiful property

This property was close to everything and well maintained. When the bars closed it got a little loud because it’s so close to the Baytown area but was worth it for ease of access during the day. This floor was above most of it and much quieter. True retreat up there. Kids loved the bunk beds and how easy it was for little legs to walk everywhere. Amazing vacation spot!

Nice stay at the wharf!

This was our second time at Le Jardin! The courtyard and New Orleans style of the homes are just wonderful. So charming. SanDestin Management is very responsive and was great answering our few concerns. I highly recommend I going through them. Unfortunately, there were many changes we noticed at the wharf, and our favorite breakfast spot, another broken egg, recently left. Hammerheads back deck was filthy and in disarray, it was sad to see. The candy store was closed permanently it seems. We had to go off the property for most of our favorite things which is probably why we won’t stay at the wharf in the future. However, we will use SanDestin Management to stay at another property off the wharf.

We just spent a week at LeJardin. The townhouse is lovely but could use a thorough cleaning - carpet and furniture need to be steam cleaned as they are stained. The blinds in living room were missing slats and damaged. Master bath shower knob needs to be tightened as it drips constantly, and the bunk bed room closet light doesn’t turn off (I did mention both of those items to guest services when we were checking out). In the kitchen, the appliances were excellent but could use some new pots and pans (they are all severely scratched - non stick surface is flaking off), new knives or a sharpener (knives were dull) and some more silverware. There are a lot of stairs so if going up and down stairs is an issue for you or anyone in your party, this isn’t the rental property for you. Having said all that, the townhouse’s location is fantastic - right in the middle of Baytowne Wharf and walking distance to restaurants and walking paths. The beds were super comfy (master bed is an adjustable tempurpedic) and a full size washer/dryer tucked away in a closet was very useful. All in all, we did enjoy our last minute family getaway and stay at LeJardin.

Wonderful Holiday Stay

Accurate description! Lovely townhome! Very well appointed, they even had it decorated for Christmas. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our holiday week at LeJardin 157. The SanDestin Staff was very accommodating to all of our needs. We will only go through them from now on! The only complaint, is we all wished the TV’s had streaming services available. Other than that, I highly recommend this property!

Great location

This property is a great location with lots of pools and activities a short walk away. Only tough thing were the steps. We brought our infant and carrying him up and down the steps was a lot at times but good exercise! Overall, a great place.

Great location

This property was amazing! Enough room for 4 kids and me and my mom. There are three levels and the trip to the 3rd floor is a hike. There are 42 stairs. The kids counted them. The location is perfect. Everything is literally right around the corner. Lots of different restaurants with variety. Activities for the kids. It's a little difficult to find at first. And no one told us but there is special parking for this unit in the garage but you have to use your door key to lift the gate. Other then that the place was amazing!!! So quiet and peaceful!! Definitely would stay again!!

Ah-Mazing Stay

50 & over Girl Trip

The property and location where excellent. We had some issues with the air condition would not turn off (stayed at 45 degrees). We where forced to go out to Walmart and buy blankets; as well as the refrigerator freezer area would not get cold. I also think pictures are deceiving - more stairs than we expected. But overall we all enjoyed the property.

Gorgeous Girls Trip

Wonderful location and the space was just what we needed. Make sure everyone is in good walking condition especially anyone interested in the Master Suite. 3 flights of stairs had me winded but it was worth the climb!

The family recently spent 4 days at this property, and was our first time at Sandestin. Sandestin was an overall wonderful time, but this specific rental did not meet our needs nor was it worth the price we paid. - #1. EVERYTHING was broken. A small inconvenience, but when everything is broken, it is frustrating!! This would not have been an issue, but everything other reviewers had said in other reviews were STILL broken. They made no effort to fix this. Freezer? Doesn't Make ice. (Since AUG20!) WiFi didn't work very well (JUL20), Fireplace? Broken (JUN20, DEC20), Termite infestation on wood (JUN20). That cool fountain in the pictures? Turned off and drained. Master shower water handle is about to come off. We didn't check the grill or the bed, but I imagine those are still broken too. It became a joke just how many things in this place were broken. We paid for all of this to work, but my job is not to sit there on hold and wait for a technician to come fix this. #2. No check-in instructions. There is no directions on where to put your trash, what garage to park in, etc. We were told to follow the "App" and it took us to the wrong garage. We just kind of winged it. #3. Dirty. As others have said, it is not cleaned very well. We were given two trash bags for our entire stay. #4. Location - Was great! We loved being central to everything, and we paid for it. The master is on the third floor, so you will get a workout walking up and down! #5. Everyone uses the location outside the car port you park in to smoke. All of the workers smoke right next to the jasmine so its sad to have to smell the wonderful jasmine with cigarette smoke. Overall - I may come to Sandestin again, but I would not stay at this property because they clearly do not care about the property or reviews to fix the place. I wanted to rate this as a 3/5, but as I typed this realizing that all the other reviews had given them an opportunity to fix this means they do not care about actually fixing them. The responses are copied and pasted: "What you experienced is certainly not the standard at Sandestin, nor is it acceptable. We appreciate you sharing this information as we use all of our guest’s comments to improve our daily operations and service to our guests. " I would like my "Property and Cleaning Fees" back. I will update this review on their response.

The place was beautiful! There are a few areas that need some attention like the dirty call in the bathroom, couldn’t get the fireplace lit, and the grill did not work. Other than those minor issues, it was fantastic

Fantastic location

We thoroughly enjoyed Thanksgiving at this location. The townhomes are fenced off which gave extra security while having our dog. The master on the third floor is quite a hike but very nice. We will stay again in this location. We also enjoyed the porch!

Location Location Location!

This is an absolutely beautiful townhome. The location is amazing! Close to activities, restaurants, beach! The only issue was the freezer was broken and didn’t make ice.

Great location, some property issues

This was our second year staying at Baytowne Wharf (Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort). We love this resort and the location. There is plenty to do without having to leave the property and great shopping is very close. The amenities are fantastic. This year, however, we received no check in instructions and had to call around trying to find out where and how to check in. Once we finally checked in at the visitors center we realized that we were given the wrong garage code and no code to the gated area of the property. We stood with our groceries and luggage until someone else came by. The property itself was not well cleaned despite having been assured that it would be extra clean due to COVID. The fireplace in the master bedroom didn't work nor did one side of the adjustable bed. The kitchen is small and awkward and the furniture was in bad repair. There is also a termite infestation in the wood on the patio. We will return to the resort, but not this particular property.

Overall it met our needs & we were satisfied

Beds & bedding were surprisingly great! Air conditioner worked really well on the first two floors & decent enough in the master. Unfortunately the master bedroom had a musty smell to it, so much so that we can still smell it on some of our things after returning home. We had trouble with the Wi-fi not staying connected; fortunately the internet guy was prompt to come by & fix it. The freezer didn’t hold its temperature well, the pots & pans were the awful Tefal (one of the most toxic options you can use) brand & there were no hot pads - so it was a bit of a nightmare to cook; although the oven & dishwasher worked really well & were quiet impressive. A pizza cutter & ice cream scoop would have been nice kitchen essentials to have as well! Sadly, the restaurant closest to the only parking garage, constantly had employees taking smoke breaks in your only direction in/out of the village to your car & the other popular smoke break spot for village employees seemed to be right next to the trash bin that you are responsible for disposing of unless room service is requested; which best time to reach someone for any assistance for questions or maintenance, seems to be early in the morning...otherwise we would sit on hold for far too long. Overall we were satisfied, just a lot of things that would have been nice to know beforehand...like the process & location for taking out the trash without the need for room service.
