Beach stay at 13 Monaco Property

The home was beautiful and clean. All amenities were in functioning condition. We had issues with checking in. When to speaking to management they stated they could accommodate an early arrival an hour early. So we arrive an hour early and were unable to get access to the home. The accommodation of early arrives is stated in the description although we trusted the conversation with management. The access code NEVER WORKED. Management had to also fix this issue even after our 4PM check in! The person managing the property was not answering at the time of these issues. This experience affected our smooth arrival and plans.

Good value memories made

The property was nice and in a great location. I assume there must have been recent work done because there was painters tape left in several spots and there was ALOT of dust mainly on the 2nd floor in the living area. The listing also states that it is not pet friendly but there was a good bit of pet hair on the floor and the stairs. All and all, it was a great value for the location and the size of the property. The only thing i would suggest would be a deep clean. We look forward to returning again in the future.

Photos and description outdated

The house was cleaned up, but definitely not cleaned. Hair in bathtubs, rugs and floors were pretty dirty. The kitchen table still had jelly smeared all over it. There was food under the couches, where it had not been swept under. The outside of the property has garbage around the side and front of the house. The stove door did not shut, in order to cook properly. The shelves in the freezer are broken and could not place items in there without them falling. There was gum on the shower curtain in the front 1st floor bathroom, making it difficult to even shut the shower curtain. The bedding and throw pillows are extremely dingy and stained. There were a few other issues. It is a beautiful home, however the photos are outdated. I am not sure the last time you have been to your property, but it definitely could use some TLC.

Miramar Stay

It was pretty nice. We had a few problems In the house, but they sent workers to repair the problems immediately. We did find a huge roach in the laundry room the morning that we left. We thought our rental was right on the beach. We had small children, so that would have been nice to just walk out on the beach, but overall, was fine.

Best location

We had an amazing time at this property. There were 9 of us including 2 kids under 3 and everyone had room to stretch out. Crescent Resort staff were friendly and helpful. Pool is amazing. Private beach access is wonderful.

Happy Place

Mattresses and pillows need to be replaced. The downstairs master bathroom has a slow draining sink and the toilet handle is wobbly with a running sound after flushing. The dishes come out wet from the dishwasher.

Wonderful location!

The location of the house was centrally located to beach and shopping. The only issue was the 1st floor bedding. The beds need new mattresses. Other than that it was great!

Labor Day Getaway

I was thoroughly impressed with this property. Loved the convenient private access to the beach from our house. It was as beautiful as portrayed in the photos. Our group especially enjoyed the pool area located just a short walk away as well! Overall, I'd give it 6 stars if I could! Loved our time spent there.

Would not stay here again...

When we arrived at the house, the first thing I did was a walk through to check everything. I immediately heard the 1st floor toilet making noises and found out it wasn't working. We also noticed that in 2 of the bathrooms, the sinks had dried toothpaste in them and the shower curtain liners were disgusting. We had to run to the store and get cleaning supplies and new shower liners. If the cleaners would have done their job properly, they also would have noticed the non-working toilet and reported it, which they apparently had not. Throughout the next few days, we found a ton more things that show the cleaners didn't do their job. It's crazy to spend $400 on a cleaning fee and then have to go in and clean yourself while on vacation. There's small things throughout the house, such as broken knobs and so on, that need to be fixed also. I brought all of this up to the property manager who told me that they have had too many back to back listings to be able to come in and fix everything. I was concerned that we would be charged for these things since they were not made aware to us beforehand so I took pictures when we got there to prove they were like that from the beginning. The walk to the beach is very short. You have to walk through the neighboring condos, which is no big deal. It was an easy walk to go down to the beach and hang out and make the short walk back to the house for lunch. If you plan to take a tent and your own chairs and want to be close to the water, you will want to get down to the beach super early (before 7:30) if you want a good spot. There is a rental company that litters the beach with their umbrellas and chairs, so there's only a small stretch of beach that is considered "public" that you can set up a tent. While this is not an issue with the property itself, I thought I would give these tips to any future visitors here. Overall, the house is nice, it just needs some work done on it to fix the little things all over and for the cleaning crew to do a better job of getting the house ready for the next visitors.

Weekend Trip

Nice property, well maintained. Easy access to beach thru a neighboring property. Also, there were 2 pools in neighboring property--smaller one was heated. The private beach was nice, plenty of space to sit. Home was spacious, plenty of room for a large family. There was some beach gear also to use, chairs, wagons & toys. This is not a gated location, but we felt safe. There was a small ant issue, but its Florida--so take that with a grain of salt. We would definitely stay again!
