Great place - terrible communication between VRBO and the resort. Book direct with resort

It was a great townhome in a great location. Make sure the VRBO manager at the resort communicates with the resort check-in staff that your golf cart is included prior to your arrival. You are also assigned a parking area with this unit that is gated and they never provided the gate code.

Our stay was good. The townhouse is nice. Does need some repairs, master shower will flood the bathroom and there were 2 temp refrigerators in the living room since the 1 in the kitchen didn't work.

Pre-Christmas Stay with the Family

Instead of buying the grandparents gifts for the holidays, we decided to spend a weekend “Staycation” with them and at Baytowne Wharf. The property was great, the communication with the agent was fantastic, we thoroughly enjoyed the time there. Will definitely return!

Le Jardin needs major building updates

Overall the location of Le Jardin is great. However, building updates are highly needed. Exterior of the complex is in dire need of renovations. The building trim is rotted and needs to be replaced. Roof is overdue to for a new one. You could see water stains from leaks. The balconies were dirty and in bad shape. We requested early check in. However, our unit was somehow missed from getting cleaned at all. We had to call and get housekeeping to clean. Our room was not ready till after 7:00pm. The breaker kept tripping. So the fridge kept turning off. The 3rd floor AC unit was not working when we got there due to the breaker issues. We were not given any of the small amenities like dish soap, etc. even though it stated in description. The place was fine for a short weekend but I would not rent from here again until updates are done.

Check in process

The check in process was difficult. I was told 2 different things at check in having to make phone calls and welcome center did not ask proper questions to obtain keys. The overall stay at the property was great after the check in process.

Great location!

We had an absolute blast! The house was great but stove, fridge and ice maker did not work well. Be aware that the golf cart is not included in the price of your stay. It is an extra 100.00 a day. Well worth it but would be nice if it would state that in the description. I still can’t find that in the description. Location was great! Lots of room in the house and love the porches. We would stay here again!

We always love the Son Destin resort. You can literallydo anything and never leave the resort. We didnt have the golf cart the first few days which was very frustrating as it was the biggest deciding factor in bookomg this property. The frint desk took forever to actually tell us where it was, as it was parked at a different property. There is a leak on the top balcony which has made the floor weak and damferous and your can see the damage it has caused all over the rotting wood. And sections of the roof. Thats my only complaint. The property was great. We loved the privacy of the master suite and used the tub and fireplace daily. The proximity to the Village and easy access to the parking garage couldnt have been better. Never found a mop,a little frustrating on that. And would have enjoyed a grill. Would book this resort again and again, but probably not this particular townhouse. It was perfrct for tje group of teenagers though. Great trip!!!

Good Overall!

The unit worked well for our needs. The location was really close to everything we needed. Parking was a bit different than we assumed as there were no parking spots at the unit. We had some issues with the A/C and the fridge not working...the A/C issue was resolved by Day 2.

Beach vacation 2021

The property was nice, very clean. Location was great, close to several restaurants and shopping. Golf cart was excellent, we used it to go to the beach, shopping at The Boulevard, etc. The only thing that I would like to mention that I did not realize prior to booking ... the master suite is on the third floor. Nice spacious room, closet and bathroom just be prepared for the hike up the stairs.

Ladies Trip

We enjoyed our weekend getaway. The unit was as described. We found the following issues: Subzero refrigerator- blinking needs maintenance service (fridge would not get any colder than 50 degrees. The front entrance chandelier seems to have an electrical short (lights bulbs flickering). The third floor master shower has soap scum and mildew throughout the shower tile and grout. Under dunk beds on second story there was lots of trash, old used face masks, and dust. Unit may need a little pest control as well (baby spiders and a few live wood roaches). Overall great place but a little TLC wouldn’t hurt!
