Great Family Vacation

Perfect location for family vacation. Having the golf carts to access the beach and restaurants was perfect. Kids enjoyed the pool and fishing in the ponds. Will definitely be back.

Never book a trip with Vacation Haven! Worst customer service you will ever experience!

First off the furniture was filthy and floors were sandy but that’s just the beginning. Our golf cart broke down with my wife and mother three times and barely made it back in the drive. One tire was touching the pine straw by maybe 3 inches but if you look at the pictures the pine straw is actually over lapping on to the driveway. I received a text that I got a ticket for the cart being parked in the landscaping. At that point we got on the cart and decided to go to town on it. We made it a mile and it broke down again. After an hour of waiting and we also walked back to get the second cart, someone finally showed up to tow us back and found that the battery gauge was not working properly because it still showed 100% and the breaker was tripped so the cart wasn’t actually charging. Even after all that and Vacation Haven admitting there was a problem, all I got was” we apologize for the inconvenience but we shouldn’t have parked on the pine straw.” I asked them how exactly I was suppose to move a cart that didn’t work and got no response. Needless to say we will not be staying with Vacation Haven again. Got to be the worst customer service I’ve ever dealt with.

Old Birthday Party

Great family trip to celebrate my son 50th Birthday! The house was perfect and so was the location to the village . But the Best was the golf carts!! At 76 my walking days are not great, and the carts help a lot😁

Great location, nice views, great communication

first the good: the house was easy to find, check in and check out instructions were very clear and sent via text messages No having to search though emails or the app. The house is beautifully decorated and the towels and linens are nice. For the not so good: this is our second house in this resort that we have rented and managed by this same company. I sent them a complaint last year and picked a different house this year, hoping things would be better. what is it? The furniture is grossly dirty. I'm mean DARK visible stains on the light sofas, pillows and bar stools. It looks gross and uninviting. I feel like I might catch some from that nasty sofa. We had friends from Pensacola come visit and we took them out because the furniture is just embarrassing.Please consider getting a differ color fabric or a different type of fabric. Also, like the house last year, there is a kids room that can sleep four but NO PLACE to put their clothes. not a dresser, not clothes hangers, nothing.i had to make piles on the closet floor for the kids. Lastly, the kitchen supplies do not say, "Welcome to your million dollar house for the week." The $10 drip coffee maker had the handle broken, and the baking pans and sheets were burnt to a crisp. They were nasty and sticky from not being cleaned well. I'm certain you can spend about $50 for some new stuff when it starts looking raggedy.Every knows how it use a Keurig now, so please consider getting one. Muffin pan that makes 6 for a party of 12!

21st Birthday Celebration

Rented the house to celebrate my sons 21st birthday with friends and family. Loved having the golf carts, made getting around much easier. The property was clean and nicely decorated. My only complaint was the microwave was rusted and started sparking when I tried to use it. Contacted the rental company and they had a loaner delivered the next day. This could have easily been avoided as the rust was very apparent. Beach chairs, toys were very nice to have... we would stay here again.

Great Vacation

We have stayed in the Baytowne area in several occasions and this was a great stay for our family. The house was perfect for us, modern features, close to a pool, close to the Wharf, and a nice view of the 5th green of the Baytowne golf course. We were thankful for the place and would stay here again in a second. The 2 golf carts were amazing!!

Fabulous Home!

We loved 1923 Villa Lago, great location! It could have been a little cleaner but over all a very nice home and we had a great stay! Just a note for the owners, the garage door needs some TLC. Thank you for letting us stay in your home.

Wonderful stay at Villa Lago!

We loved our stay at Villa Lago. House was very spacious, kitchen had just about everything we needed, bathrooms had plenty of clean towels and toiletries that smelled amazing(little things like that are important!) We loved the golf carts and neighborhood too. Great vacation for me and my family and we would stay here again!

Enjoyable Stay

We enjoyed our stay! Location is great for those wanting to go to the village every evening. Golf carts were wonderful for getting to the village and beach! The house was clean. Slept great in the master bedroom. The bed and pillows are very comfortable. We noticed a few little things that could be improved for future guests, and messaged the property management team - they quickly responded to say they would pass it on to the owners. Great communication from the property mgt. team from the beginning. We would definitely stay here again! The house was stocked with everything we needed.

Great location

Great location, golf carts made everything so easy to get to and parking was so much easier. House was nice but could have been a little cleaner. We had 7 children ranging from 15 down to 8 months and it was big enough for all of us. Enjoyed watching people play golf from the back porch and balcony. Everyone was so nice.

Only one golf cart available due to charger not working properly. BBQ grill could not be used the first 3 days due to only one burner working. Fabric on furniture in living room and kitchen filthy. Light in downtowns bedroom was like a disco light. Cigarettes butts and trash in driveway and patio. Not enough room to put your luggage in 3 of the bedrooms. No place to place shampoo and etc. in shower. Ice maker would not dispense ice.

Needs deep cleaning

The property was overall in great condition but it could use a good deep cleaning. The couch and chairs should be replaced or cleaned. Also, kitchen equipment and utensils need to be replaced.

House nice, property management terrible.

Overall, I do not recommend this rental because of the property management. The house was nice and convent location for fall break. They DO NOT return calls and refused to assist answering questions about charges they made after the fact. Horrible customer service. Find a different rental not by MY VACATION HAVEN.

Loved it !

We thoroughly enjoyed this beautifully decorated property! The golf carts and beach chairs were extremely convenient. The open kitchen and family room was perfect for group gathering. House was clean on arrival. Overall we would stay again ! Couple things that could he improved on: better kitchen utensils and Dryer May need some maintenance( kept stopped drying but eventually would work) . We had few maintenance issues but were addressed quickly by management. Looking forward to another stay soon.

It was a nice house to stay it was clean and had enough room to sleep everyone.

The only disappointment we had was the 6 person golf cart was not there for our stay. It made it difficult to transport our family to and from the beach. They did reimburse us a small amount for our inconvenience. It was stocked with dishware and pots and pans but would be nice if it had some of the small items like more dish towels and rags. They only supplied one trash bag and there was none of the essentials like salt and pepper, foil, sandwich bags, paper towels , dishwasher soap etc. So if you stay here you will need to bring these items with. Our stay was good the neighborhood was nice. Loved our time there.

Nice but pictures on line make it look bigger.

Great stay, but very tight for 11 people. Had to get blow up matress as sofa bed not comfortable. Also had to purchase propane for the grill.
