Marigot Place is the nicest house and stay we have had over the last 7 years. The physical condition and cleanliness of the house was very good. A beautiful covered patio has been added to the house. The warmth and efficiency of the host and staff were wonderful. The amenities were amazing;new grill, lots of supplies, a beautiful pool was added a few years ago. Charming, gated neighborhood. Our dog loved the fenced in back yard. Located in a great location. We will definitely return.

We had such a great time here! The place was super clean and had everything we needed. It’s an easy walk to the beach, which made things really convenient. The owner was great to communicate with and made everything really simple. We really enjoyed the private pool. We would definitely stay here again!

This home was setup better than any other place that I had ever stayed.! Honestly I will stay here everytging we come to Miramar and if it’s not available… I’ll change my dates so it is available! The host was easily accessed and more extremely helpful … couldn’t have asked for better service! We will be back!

Amazing amenities!!

Pur son graduated highschool and we reserved this beautiful home for family coming into town. The amount of amenties was incredible and there was even a welcome basket with the cutest things. We have rented quite a few places and the extra amentites made the stay so much easier and my kids thought it was so cool! The backyard is a dream oasis and there is lots of room inside the house to spread out. We will definitly be renting through the host again as they go above and beyond!

Forbes Spring Break 2025

The property is gorgeous. The pictures don’t do it justice. The back patio and pool were so inviting and relaxing. The kitchen was equipped with everything including waffle iron and rice cooker. We had plenty of bathroom towels and beach towels. The walk was easy to the beach and to Kenny D’s restaurant. I think they had eight beach chairs that seemed brand new. They had a beach wagon and water toys. The house was spotless. They definitely take pride in their property. We will be back!!

Great place to stay

Really enjoyed our stay at house in late July. This was one of the better equipped houses we've rented in a while. It pretty much had everything we were needing for the week, umbrellas, chairs, body boards, you name it. Having the golf cart was a bonus for shuttling kids back and forth to the beach and running around Scenic 98 to restaurants and shops. The pool wasn't huge, but worked great for our group of 6. Host was very easy to work with and responsive to any requests, even found a left behind wallet and got it back to us quickly. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Family Vacation

The house was just as pictured, it was perfect. It had everything you would need in the kitchen, all the cooking utensils and pots and pans you will need. Grill was excellent, just like new. Had beach chairs and towels. Kids beach toys to take to the beach. Kids loved the pool, only heated it one day and probably didn’t even need to. Van was excellent. She was very responsive to any email or text. She even offered us her three bedroom condo the night before because we got in a night early until the house was ready for us the next day. She was great at giving us great places to see and good places to eat. She was absolutely wonderful would definitely stay here again when we are back in Destin.

100% loved our stay

Van was an excellent host! The house was amazing! We had 4 adults and 4 teenagers and everyone was happy! The pool was lovely and the accommodations were great. The area is great for local beaches. Everything you can want is at your fingertips. Get the golf cart it is so amazing. I couldn't want for anything else in this vacation home. My only feedback would be to put black out curtains in the master as we might want to sleep longer than the sun comes up. Otherwise it was 100% amazing. I will definitely rent again!!!!!

Perfect Home with Perfect Host - You Will Love!

We rented this home Oct 7-11. I have zero complaints about the rental. I cannot think of anything that we needed that wasn’t provided. The home was extremely clean with all the amenities. The 6 person golf cart was a wonderful plus! We drove it a very short distance right up to beach parking. Don’t worry about packing beach towels, boogie boards and sand castle building stuff as she provides all of that as a courtesy for guest use! The beds were very comfortable in spacious rooms. I have rented many homes thru various companies but Van truly was the best host. Thank you for all of your wonderful dining recommendations and for being such a wonderful host. Hope we get to come back soon! PS….Miramar Beach was amazing!

We’ll be back!

My husband and I + 2 other couples stayed Labor Day weekend. We also stayed in September 2021. The ONLY reason I didn’t give 5 stars is cause the golf cart was broken. We were looking forward to having it again. Van was very informative and responsive. Super sweet and welcoming. Like I said before. We’ll be back! :)

It was very clean but you could not have more then 3 vehicles there because of the hoa rules

They could of sent the rules of the community before the week your supposed to be there because I had a trailer with motorcycle on it and we had to unload them and found somewhere else to park the truck and trailer but other then that everything was very nice and if we had issues we was able to get of hold of someone and they was very nice to us we would stay again but only without the truck and trailer that had the bikes

2 week stay at the Marigot

Ron met us at the start of our stay, he walked us through the book with all the information required. The area is gated and very clean. The house had everything needed for our stay of just under 2 weeks. The place is clean and organized. The fenced yard was a bonus for our dog. Unfortunately the beach is out of bounds for the dog, unless you live in the county and have a permit. The location is great, lots of restaurants and bars close by and the golf cart was useful for exploring the area. I would definately go back.

Great house and great location!

Our stay was lovely. The home was very clean and tons of space. Big screen television’s in each room and a fully equipped kitchen. Completely fenced in yard with a grill and tons of seating. Our host was Ron and he was terrific. Anything we needed, he was immediately available. When we return to Destin, we will stay here again.

Amazing Vacation Home

Marigot Place was perfect for the 6 of us and our 2 dogs. Fenced in yard was great to let them playing together in the beautiful weather. House was clean, plenty of dishes and towels. Only 3 blocks to the beach but the golf cart was an added bonus! Perfect, quiet location. Look forward to coming back. Thanks again Ronald for being thorough at check in. Lots of room for all

We were looking for each person to have their own “space,” close to the ocean and quiet. This property provides all of that and more! We were prepared with all of our own beach accessories but were impressed that there was a decent supply of things for the beach in the garage. We had a very nice stay

Mr. Ronald was so accommodating!

The area was very nice! The house was clean and had everything needed for cooking family meals and had a great patio for lounging! Golf cart was great the kids loved cruising the scenic area. Mr. Ronald was very helpful! Gave us great it’s on the tried and true restaurants in the area! Will definitely be back. Thanks for the hospitality and great to meet you!
