Dirty Pool

We arrived on Monday eve and didn't use the pool until Tuesday stayed at the shallow end because the pool needed to be cleaned. There was no skimmer to remove the bugs. My husband hooked the hose up and vacuum the bottom. I called twice and sent messages as well.

Neglected house

This property is begging for even the slightest maintenance to be tended to - light bulbs are out, living room fan does not work, kitchen trashcan does not close, guest shower curtain is ripped and moldy. GOOD LUCK trying to figure out how to turn either shower on. Pavers by pool are sinking and unsteady to walk on at all 4 corners. Pool and property was clean, just rundown and not maintained. If you’re sensitive to bleach don’t stay here though. Holy moly, even inside the refrigerator it reeked of bleach. At least it was clean? Best thing about this property is the golf cart and location, both of which you can find at better kept properties. It would also have been nice if they left a map on which way to go to get to the beach gate, and exactly which gate it is. Would not recommend this place for the price. I called and let them know of these issues. Hopefully they fix it up because the location is great!

The house was nice ..but the refrigerator was not cold our drinks and milk was not cold ...and the bed mattress where very uncomfortable..and the seatbelt on the front of the golf cart were broken

Nice location. Clean house.

The neighborhood is quiet and private. It is immaculately cared for and safe. The house was clean and as pictured upon arrival. An easy walk to the beach wagons were helpful. I recommend renting your own beach gear and umbrellas. Having access to the golf cart also was very convenient and useful. We had quick communication with management with a couple of Issues at the house: Garage door and barbecue need attention. The beach gate code didn’t work for us. Overall, a great place to stay with the family.

Vacation 2024

We had a great stay! The house was just as listed! We had issues at the gate at first but I think it was operator error…lol… would definitely stay again! The kids loved the pool and the golf cart was a great addition! Thank you for sharing your beautiful beach house with our family!

Great experience

Perfect size for a bigger group plenty of room for everyone. The pool area was nice for days we did not want to load all of our stuff and go to the beach. The golf cart is convenient for beach days. Nice quiet neighborhood close to all the things we had planned to do! Would recommend

2024 Destin Winter Getaway

We, myself, spouse, pet dog, enjoyed our extended stay very much. The house was very clean, nice layout, great location, and friendly, quiet neighborhood. Our dog enjoyed the backyard and daily walks. The My Vacation Haven support staff provided quick, courteous, and knowledgeable response. Only wish the house was snowbird friendly.

We loved our stay - it was stress free and so relaxing. The pool was refreshing and the beach was an easy walk. Having a fenced yard for my dogs was really convenient. The house was beautifully decorated, clean and very comfortable.

Good Location, pretty neighborhood

We usually stay in condos when visiting Miramar, but this time we tried a house. We really enjoyed it. The neighborhood is pretty and well maintained. The access gates work well and we appreciated that it is safe and monitored. All appliances work well and there are plenty of pots, pans and utensils for cooking. There was an issue with the pool that I only mention because the management company had someone out there to fix it in less than an hour! Stuff happens, and its great when there is a quick response like that. The fencing in the back yard is strong and opaque, we had no concerns about our dog being contained or seeing things to bark at, granted she is pretty old and lazy. We would stay here again.

Great place to stay!

Awesome location, easy access to the beach and the golf cart was fun to drive around Destin. Plenty of room in the house for the six of us and came well stocked with beach toys, wagons and umbrellas for the beach. Would definitely stay here again.

Best vacation yet

We had the best time at Salty Seas. The property was exactly as listed. Our group of 7 plus 2 dogs had plenty of room. The home was spotless for being pet friendly. The beds were super cozy. They provided everything you could possibly need. The garage had a bunch of beach stuff and toys for kids. There even was a giant bottle of bubbles. The golf cart was so awesome we were almost afraid to use it, but it was a great benefit and provided so much extra fun. The beach was close and the pool was perfect. We loved it and are already making plans for next year.

Nice House

We traveled from Illinois for family vacation. Had its pros n cons. Pros-Nice house,great location,Pool,Golf cart Cons-living room rug piss stains from animals,bathroom curtain almost falling out of wall,pool was dirty when we arrived. Pool guy showed up to clean it 2 days before we were checking out, renting beach service everyday. Received a call from the office while on the beach with family that there was a car parked out front of the house we were renting and if we didn’t get it moved NOW that we would get a $100 fine. The car was not even at our house it was at the neighbors. All in all had a good time. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you

Great home and wonderful stay

We came in from south Texas to stay at the house we found online. It was so worth the drive. Amazing beautiful home, plenty of space and room. The pool was a huge plus and the beach was so close. The golf cart was so helpful and useful. Will definitely be coming back and my daughter enjoyed the kids room.

Great spot for family vacation!

Check in process was super easy. The location is great and we loved the golf cart! We had an issue with the WiFi and property management couldn’t get it fixed during our stay but was great with communicating the issues with us. We also had an issue with the pool being heated even when we turned it down to 50.. it felt like we were in a hot tub when it was 90 degrees outside! Hopefully they get that fixed for other stays! Overall, I would recommend this house for a family vacation!

Good place

Was exactly as listed, had everything you needed inside and for pool. The golf cart is a great addition. So handy to go to beach or nearby restaurants. Location close to outlet mall and several good restaurants. Would highly recommend it. Private beach area had chairs and umbrellas to rent.

Home away from home

We love this neighborhood and stay in it every year. This house was great and was plently big for our group of 7. The pool was spectacular and it was so helpful having all the pool and beach toys and wagons. The golf cart was our favorite cart we've had over the years. The location and convenience can't be beat because you're at the center of it all. Communication was great and would highly recommend. The ease of the app was great while checking in and remembering all the codes.

Perfect Family Vacation!

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The home was clean with plenty towels and starter supplies. There is plenty of room for a family or group. The home has everything you need to enjoy your stay including all beach accessories (chairs, umbrellas, toys, and wagons). Also pool floats and toys are available. The pool and golf cart were great additions. The only problem that we had is we were given the wrong gate code to enter the community, but that was quickly resolved. The location of the home is PERFECT!! Walking distance to the beach, and the gold cart made it easy to get to several shops and restaurants near by or just for cruising the strip. I would definitely stay here again. I recommend 10 out of 10.
