Quite, Private, Steps to the Beach

Outstanding property. Lots of space between other properties and just steps from the beach. What you sacrifice in beach view, you gain in privacy. Would love to stay here again!!!

Nice Location

Location is the best part aside from the pool. 3 minute walk to the beach, 1 minute drive to mall outlets, fast food, and restaurants.

Not good for elderly people

We took my 87 year old mom with us. If the property gets renovated, might want to make sure it’s compatible for the elderly. Bath for first floor bedroom needs walk in shower. Even though there is one on 2nd floor, it’s not for a 87 year old lady with poor vision to climb the stairs. Way too many of them. Not sure who tells ocean reef that u can’t heat a pool in Sept but every pool company and electrician I spoke to said u can heat pool in Sept and all year round if u want to. Out of 2 weeks I only enjoyed the pool one day. That’s the reason I pay extra money for a private pool so I can enjoy it and not have to listen to screaming kids. For the guy who asked me at the rental company if 82 degrees was not warm enough to swim in, my only question to him is why doesn’t he go get in it and see where his gonads GO. They certainly will not be hanging down. Unfortunately I doubt we will ever be coming back to Destin anytime in the foreseeable future. It use to be a very pleasurable place to visit when we first started coming down in 1998. We came every year till I retired 7 years ago. It’s been 7 years since we’ve been down and it sure has changed tremendously. Time to find another place to start visiting.

Great home, great location

This home was perfect for our family. The pool was awesome! The location perfect. Beautiful yard...wish had cornhole game to play...too big to pack and travel with. Lol. Lovely peekaboo views of the ocean. Would stay here again! Customer service absolutely incredible. Great vacation place...beach was fabulous!!

Wonderful location—close to shopping and dining. The kitchen has everything you would need. The doors were our biggest issue. Hard to figure out how to lock, etc. I wish the pool had some type of railing to help entering and exiting pool.

Amazing house, awesome location

I’ve been staying in Mirimar for 7 years in a row. Best house by far. Amazing Location, amazing pool, easy beach access. The patio and decks are also incredible to enjoy a warm night. Forgot a towel or sunglasses? It’s a 2 minute walk to the store. And the property manager is a message or call away.

Deceiving description. STAY at your OWN RISK

Pros: *Location, close to the beach Cons: *Broken master shower-did NOT work at all *NO HEATED pool(only reason we stayed there) was NOT HEATED upon arrival as confirmed twice before we left to go to the house. Come to find out, the water pump was broken and locked so no one came out to preheat pool *Dirty pool-leaves and debri everywhere in the pool *No chemicals in the water- we tested the chlorine level and it was not adequate to safely swim in it *Dated furniture *Dirty house- we saw and killed many giant German roaches crawling everywhere. *Rental property company was hard to get in touch with. We came around 7:30pm and no help whatsoever with the broken pool Stay at your own risk. We had three people over 3 days from rental company come out to try and fix master shower, pool etc. poor experience

Love this location

We have stayed in every house on this street now. Location it is great. Loved the beach service. The only criticism is that the furnishings are very dated. The sofa looks very old. The owner could make a few changes, fresh paint and it would be so much better.

Perfect Escape!

Panorama was the perfect escape for our crew! The house was well stocked, including hair dryers, food storage, and gas grill. Loved having the beach access less than 300 steps away, and the chair service was so convenient. Ocean Reef was easy to get a hold of and quickly took care of our need to spray for fire ants outside. Although a lounger was broken upon arrival, mentioned it wasn’t necessary to rush a replacement over. I have no doubt they have a new one there already! As with most beach houses, it’s bright! Normally travel with eye masks, but... would recommend it. Turn down the air as soon as you check in. The bedrooms upstairs take a little while to cool down. The pool was ready and so inviting! It was the perfect way to kickoff our week. Already planning our next trip back!
