Everything was as described, well appointed, super comfortable beds. Conveniently located and golf cart was an amazing help especially with kids (one didn’t work well for us but we only needed one). Perfect layout for kids. Other than the cold days, we enjoyed our first time in the panhandle of Florida and avoided a blizzard back home so overall a win. Only thing of note is make sure to look up the golf cart tunnel and where you can drive it to get to the beach. This was initially confusing! Resort pools were very warm (86!) and not busy. Super relaxing with the kids.

Great Family Vacation

We had an amazing time at this gorgeous property! The golf carts were so much fun to ride and made getting to the beach, the pool, the shops, and the wharf quick and easy! The heated pool and hot tub were enjoyed day and night! We loved everything about our stay in Laurel Grove! We will definitely be back!

A Wonderful Place to Stay! Highly Recommend

We loved this house! The location was great - so wonderful and peaceful. The two golf carts were game changers. So amazing to have access to them. You can go to the grocery store or dinner - and of course to the beach. The owners were very responsive and helpful. Our only dislike was that the only beach access was so crowded and full every day. When we go again, we would like to find a more quiet and private beach access. But that has nothing to do with the property which, again, was great! Highly recommend!

Amazing

We happened upon this listing after our first booking was cancelled three days before departure. By the grace of god it was available and it definitely exceeded our expectations. The house is spacious and super clean. The closet with fold out bed in the upstairs master was extremely helpful. The golf carts were as advertised. It’s always great not having to take the car when we get here. 5 stars for sure

family reunion

This house was perfect for our family reunion. The house was just as advertised. the bedroom were large and having a room with 2 bunk beds was a plus. It let all our grandkids sleep together. We really enjoyed the back porch which overlooked the golf course. The two golf carts were a big hit. We were able to go to the grocery store, restaurants, Baytown Harbor, pool and beach without using our cars. We would definitely rent this house again.

Beautiful home

Loved this property. Have stayed in Sandestin before and this place was my favorite. The back patio was My favorite. Shaded all day long. The two Six-Seater golf carts came in handy.

Great location, nice house, nice golf carts

It was a very nice house in a great location. We have stayed in this area before and love the convenience of riding the golf carts to the store, beach and Baytowne wharf. Will definitely come back to this area. We wish the house would have had a broom so we could sweep off the back/front porch and more kitchen towels/dishrags. Golf cart access sticker needs fixed. It doesn't work coming out of the store parking lot on either golf cart. The carts may need to be raised a little. Overall just minor things and we loved it and had a great time.

Great family home

Loved our stay at this property. Extended family with grandkids and adult children. Favorites were the use of the two golf carts. Never needed to drive anywhere! Quiet neighborhood and convenient to everything…beach, grocery, restaurants, and Wharf.

Just “ok”

Check in time being 6pm was odd to me especially with the time change and that being dark. It was on the booking details so I understand I booked anyway - asked for a 4pm check in which is a normal time. Was told they would let me know the day of if I could check in at 4:00. That didn’t help with travel plans. They sent an email at 4:15 that I could check in. Still traveling at that point so ended up not getting in early. Would have been nice to know that morning at the latest. House was clean except under beds and couches. No rugs anywhere in the house. Hard to regulate AC for upstairs and downstairs because it is only one unit. Upstairs hot-downstairs cold. King size mattress needs to be replaced. Check out 9:00 am is early too. On a positive- kitchen is stocked nicely.

Excellent Place to Vacation!

Our family vacation was fabulous in this lovely house. It was well equipped especially the kitchen. The golf carts were an excellent way to move around in the community. Whether you were going to the beach, pool, out to dinner or to Publix for groceries, the carts made it easy. We had a small maintenance issue but it was resolved quickly and they offered to give us a refund credit due to our inconvenience. We loved the back porch overlooking the golf course. We would definitely rent this house again.

Just as advertised!

We very much enjoyed the property. The house is exactly as advertised, offers a good range of sleeping for families, and the two six seater golf carts were in great condition and hold a long charge. One thing to keep in mind when renting is the location on the golf course.....you will definitely find a ball or two coming into the backyard.

Nice, but no 2nd Golf Cart

We enjoyed our stay at Sandestin, but we had 2 families and specifically rented this house because it included two golf carts. When we arrive there was only one golf cart. After WE contacted the management company they informed us the 2nd cart was taken to the service place for a recall and wouldn't know how long it might take. By the third day they informed us that the cart would not be ready by the end of our stay and no additional cart would be supplied. They did offer us a refund, but said according to their contract they didn't have to do this. We wanted the 2nd golf cart more than the refund. So renters beware just because items are listed as incude they may or may not be.

I have rental properties myself and i supply case of toilet paper and case of paper towels per week and salt and pepper,sugar,and every other thing that the regular person needs to stay for a week,also think about some more towels ,not everybody wants to use the same towel for five days in a row when we have 2 families BUT YOUR HOUSE IS NICE AND I GAVE YOU THE SAME RESPECT I WOULD FROM MY RENTERS,I LEFT IT CLEAN AND THE ONLY THING YOUR COMPANY HAD TO DO WAS TOWELS,THANK YOU [THINK ABOUT LEAVING SOME COFFEE ALSO , i DID FOR THE NEXT RENTERS,AND THE CLEANING SOLUTION BOTTLE I LEFT THAT ALSO,,,,THANK YOU VERY MUCH BEUTIFUL PROPERTY

Saving this one in my favorites

Easily a 5/5. The property was well located. If you're planning something beach-centric, don't hesitate with this one. The golf cart was indispensable for a maybe 10-minute, 24 mph drive to the access to the private beach. All of your needs are close by, thereby limiting your exposure to Destin traffic. We are a family of five and found the house to be absolutely equipped and carefully cleaned. We didn't find a bit of sand on the hard surface floors when we arrived, which is miraculous for a beach house. I wish I could say we were able to keep it that way for the week we were there. We'll make this trip again and I'll be looking to book here first. Excellent property!
