Fantastic LOCATION (on the canal, very close to beach, bay, amenities). GOLF CART was great to have, really enjoyed that being included in price. Home and furniture were showing wear. Did NOT appreciate having to do the work of housekeeping service: remove sheets, towels, take out trash, run dishwasher, etc. This is not something a paying guest should have to do in a paid rental.

Property was very clean. The check in and check out process is very easy. About a 2 minute golf cart ride to the beach. Property is in walking distance to the pool. Kitchen had everything we needed. We would recommend this property.

Great Place

Amazing stay! The house was super clean and the owner was quick to respond and communicate! We loved sitting in the back patio looking at the lake. The pool was super clean and warm as well! The location is fabulous you dont need to leave the resort! The golf cart was awesome! We will return!

Excellent Choice

We loved our 4-night stay! The kitchen was fully stocked for all of your cooking needs, as far as cookware and dishes. The guys enjoyed fishing and feeding the turtles in the back yard. The golf cart was an added bonus. Previous visitors had left chairs and umbrellas, and they came in handy also. Upon arrival, the house was very clean and smelled good too. The beds are really comfortable as well. The Baytowne Wharf was also a great family place and easy access on the golf cart. Silvano was an excellent host and communicated very well with us! Not that we had any issues with the place, just messages in general. I would highly recommend this place for a quiet get away to the beach.

Loved location

The unit was just as described - very clean and comfortable. The neighborhood is perfectly situated to enjoy beach, wharf, and the restaurants and shops at Grand Blvd. My favorite part was the golf cart! I’m a sucker for a golf cart and enjoyed getting around in it. It made going to the beach easy & fun. Communication with property manager was super easy. Zero complaints. Will definitely stay here again.

Terribly dirty and violated privacy

Sandestin itself as a resort is incredible. This particular host however is lacking. When we arrived it was quite disgusting. I immediately took photos and sent them directly to the owner. I received no response. I messaged the owner on the app then and no reply either. Found out later he sent a crew without notifying us or requesting permission. They entered while we were gone and took photos without our permission and STILL DIDNT CLEAN IT. He admitted to this violation on a recorded call and VRBO did NOTHING. Beware- he supposedly has 15 properties with VRBO and is now known to them for privacy violations.

Great Location, Loved the Amenities

My husband and I traveled to Destin to visit family who lives nearby. This property was in close proximity to the airport, beach, and other local attractions but didn't feel "touristy". The golf cart was a very nice touch, and we made use of the tunnel that crosses 98 to access the guest pool, Baytowne Wharf, and the grocery store. The home was in great shape and the owner was quick to respond with a maintenance visit when the AC wasn't working properly on our first day. The grill could use some TLC and I do think that the home could use a good DEEP clean (walls, baseboard, doors, etc.) but otherwise this property was perfect for our 4 night/5day trip and we would book again!
