House was perfect for our family of 13.The kitchen had everything we needed to make our Thanksgiving dinner.The pool table and shuffle board provided us competition evenings while the balcony offered us a space for our Euchre tournament. It was a short stroll to the beach where we enjoyed the beautiful water and sand.Even the weather cooperated.A wonderful trip!

Perfect for our family reunion/vacation

Our family consists of 18 people (only 2 children) and we couldn't have asked for anything more - except maybe a view of the gulf. There was so much for everyone to do and places to do it! Big tables for games, 2 game rooms, an outside seating area with ceiling fan and of course, the pool! Each family took a turn cooking a dinner and had no problem doing that in the kitchen. We also appreciated the 2 coffee makers. The first 3 1/2 days were rainy and we had some problems with the TVs but other than that, a perfect stay! One of our favorite unexpected features was the extra large ice maker! No trips to the store for ice was particularly appreciated with this group!

Beautiful home with awesome pool. Our family enjoyed the home, the pool, and the close proximity to the beach. It was just a short distance. All of our “littles” had no trouble making the trip. We had a wonderful family vacation.

Summer Dream is a real dream!

Our family of 16, eight adults and eight children ages 1 to 10 had a fabulous time making memories! There were plenty of bedrooms for all of us with two bonus rooms, which allowed the kids play area as well as places for the adults to get away if they needed to. The kitchen was fully equipped, and we loved that there were two tables so that we could all sit down and eat together. The real bonus was the beautiful pool with the ledge, allowing the younger children to splash around in about a foot of water. It was an easy walk to the beach and we really appreciated the use of the beach chairs and the large ice maker! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us. We hope to come back again.

Fantastic Vacation Home for Large Family

This was our second year staying in this home. Our extended family includes 7 adults and 5’children ages 2, 4, 6, 6, and 7. This home is perfect in every way. Plenty of space, 5 adult suites with private bathrooms and 2 bunk rooms perfect for the kids! The home also includes some great play areas including shuffle board, fussball, and a pool table. We could not survive a family vacation with 5 little kids without a pool and we enjoy that added benefit very much!! We spent mornings at the beach (a short walk away) and afternoons in the pool. The home is convenient to everything - 10 min walk for coffee in the morning, 1 block to the beach, Alvin’s store across the street, less than 10 min drive to grocery and shopping, 10 min walk to Pompano Joe’s restaurant (our favorite). Really couldn’t ask for anything more. Owners are wonderful communicators and very responsive. Highly recommend and we will return!

Great Family Destination

The house was a perfect destination for our extended family - we brought 11 adults and 13 children under the age of 13, and the layout allowed for people to be as together or as separate as they wanted for downtime.The kids spent all day either in the pool or at the beach; the walk to the beach is very short, and having an all-way stop helped us all feel safe. We cooked most of our meals, and the kitchen patio accommodated cooking, feeding, and seating for 24.The homeowner was responsive for any minor concerns, and the property was as-described in the listing.Recommendations: grab a dinner at Pompano Joe's, Sea Market (about 10 minutes away) has great fresh seafood and they'll prepare it for you by request, and the coffee place one block from the house has a restaurant next door that sells beignets, which makes for a quick, tasty breakfast to start the day.

Perfect for the big group!

Something for everyone- pool, beach a Short walk away. Shops, ice cream and coffee walking distance as well! Well equipped kitchen and a separate ice machine that was clutch!! Garage fridge for all the drinks and beach buggy helped with all the chairs and necessities!

Perfect vacation home!

This home could not have been more perfect! We were 7 adults and 5 children ages 18 months to 6 years. The layout of the house with 5 master bedrooms and 2 bunkbed rooms met all our needs. Having the playroom on the 3rd floor was a godsend. The kids had lots of room to play and loved the bean bag chairs! Having an actual crib in its own separate closet was also an added bonus. Not having to lug a pack and play from home was super nice! Plus babies always sleep better in a crib. The home is beautiful and immaculate. We could not survive a family vacation without a pool, and having the shallow play ledge for the toddlers was everything! We also appreciated the ice maker, the cooler which we took to the beach every day, beach chairs and umbrella, beach and pool toys. The owners are very responsive and have really thought of everything families with children need. The location is also great - beach is across the street, shopping on the corner, and a great coffee place a pleasant 10 min walk away. We loved our time here and plan to rent again next year.

We LOVED this house so much!! Such a great set up for our big family (10 adults & 11 kids). Lots of space, kid friendly, pool was wonderful. The walk to the beach is short. Our two 3 year olds walked it with no problems every day. We will be booking again next trip!!

Family Retreat.

My family of 15 people were so comfortable in this home that it made for a wonderful vacation for all of us. We had so much fun in the pool and the walking distance to the beach was short. We especially loved the shallow shelf in the pool. It worked out great for the two year old and those of us that liked being able to sit there in the water. All of the bedrooms worked out well for all of the adults and kids. We loved the couch in the living room, it made for great TV watching or lounging. The two dining tables were used a lot and we appreciated having them. The owner was easy to work with. All in all, it was great. Many of us spent a lot of time at Alvin's Island browsing and purchasing vacation items, ankle bracelets, towels, hats, shirts and skim boards. The beach and its sand and the color of the water were spectacular. We would stay here again.

House that fits many people

This property was perfect for 5 families with kids of all ages. The 3 floors came in handy for everyone to have their own space along with all of the extras - pool table, shuffle board, and beach chairs. Walk to beach was easy. The only downside (which is not much) would be that we bought ice daily due to the icemaker not producing ice and also no additional yard space to play yard games.

Absolutely wonderful!

Perfect for our family of 10 adults and 8 kids 5 & under! The kids enjoyed the pool immensely and the trek to the beach wasn’t bad- moving anywhere with our 2 young ones, 2 toddlers & 4 infants is tough. Since the beach was out of sight we could placate them with the pool. The steps down to the beach make it just a bit challenging but the sand and water are gorgeous!

Family Vacation April 2022

My family all have a wonderful time at your property. It is a beautiful property and very comfortable for everyone. Our group was 17 people total. Five families can accumulate a lot of food for the week so the second refrigerator in the garage was very helpful. We never felt like we were on top of each other. The pool was great for the grandkids ages 3-10. We used it every day after we returned from activities or the beach. It was only a short walk to the beach and was easy to get a spot anytime during the day. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your property.

Christmas Family Reunion

This was a lovely rental home for our family reunion over Christmas. We were pleasantly surprised with the abundance of activities available. Christmas in Miramar Beach is a well kept secret! There were 14 of us ranging in age from 76 to 16, from Montana, Illinois and Maryland. The 3 level house provided more than enough space for comfortable large group dining and relaxing, as well as space for smaller groups to break away and play pool, shuffleboard, foosball, video games or just sit quietly and enjoy one of the peaceful and comfortable sitting areas or verandas. The kitchen was the perfect size for cooking Christmas breakfast and dinner as well as the meals during the week. There is more than enough refrigeration and freezer space, two large ovens and a microwave, two coffee makers and plenty of cooking and eating pots plates and utensils. The gas grill was a nice addition. Every bedroom and bathroom is large, comfortable and very updated/modern. The gated community felt safe, provided plenty of parking and two community pools in addition to the back yard pool. The walk to the beach was easy. Be sure to catch both the sunrise and sunset on the beach and enjoy a short walk to the delicious BadAss Coffee shop afterward. It was warm enough to swim and sunbathe most days. Every type of shopping and restaurant was within a short drive and there were no lines, even for our size group. There were activities for every interest and age. We particularly enjoyed Track go-carts and the Finest Kind Fishing Charter, recommended by the homeowner. December in Miramar Beach offers Christmas lights, festive events and even outdoor ice skating. Highlights to not miss include The Donut Hole breakfast, AJs seafood, drinks and live music, Fat boys burgers and wings, Jacacudas unique delicious fusion food and Lin’s for Chinese take out. The nearby Dunes State Park is a wonderful place to hike and enjoy natural dunes, wildlife and the beach with no buildings behind you. However, the absolute best thing about this rental was the homeowner who was extraordinarily responsive, kind and helpful from start to finish. Thank you Gregg & Margaret for renting us your lovely vacation home and making our Christmas family reunion one to remember! We would definitely rent it again!

The PERFECT HOUSE for our big FAMILY!

The photos of the house are beautiful but the real thing is better than can be imagined! It is impeccable, comfortable and filled with quality throughout. As we walked in for the first time, we immediately noticed how immaculately clean it was...every single room was perfect. Some of the things that our family of 18 appreciated, in particular, about this property were the comfortable living room and bedroom furniture--the additional refrigerator/freezer in the garage--how close it was to the beach (just a short walk), and the 2 bunk rooms and 1 king room on the 3rd floor. All 10 of our grandchildren (ranging from 5 to 21 years old) slept and hung out there and loved it! Everyone of us is excited about returning to this house!!! Thank you, Gregg, for being so easy to reach and answering all my questions.

Beautiful home, close to the beach

We stayed at Summer Dreams for a week with family and friends. The house is spacious and beautifully decorated. It provided plenty of privacy since most bedrooms have a private bathroom. Pool table and shuffle board provided entertainment on the few rainy days we experienced. We loved having a private pool and short walk to Alvin’s Island and Bad Ass Coffee. Overall a wonderful stay! Be aware there are steps from the street level to the beach which make carrying chairs, coolers, etc. a little more strenuous.

Living the Dream

Our week at the Smith's home was absolutely living the dream. Gregg and Margaret have thought of everything to make your vacation relaxing and enjoyable. All the comforts of home and then some!
