Incorrect golf cart, photo showed much nicer one the one we were given had electrical issues the first night had to drive in the dark with no lights was almost killed. Then they argued with us of all things. Then we had electrical issues in the condo had to go to bed early cuz they couldn’t fix it til the next day.

Could of been better

Overall the place was good but the refrigerator froze all our food, half of the electrical plugs weren't working, had to run extension cords. Golf cart was not working and was not charging at all had to run other extensions cords and also light bulbs on one of the bedroom was not working.

We had a wonderful stay here in the Miramar Beach area. The townhouse was wonderful and in a great location. Riding the gold cart around the grounds of the resort was enjoyable in the evening and very convenient. Looking forward to a return visit!

Great time!

We had a family vacation including adults and children. The place was nice and kid-friendly. Unfortunately, it rained quite a bit, but we enjoyed our time together. A suggestion that we have is to seal the back door frame as water was coming into the living room from the storm. The golf cart was a plus! Overall, we had a great time!

Wonderful vacation

The property was as listed and the area was beautiful, close to the beach, restaurants and shopping. The golf cart made it so easy to get around. I can't say enough about the beach, it was perfect.

Amazing Rental Property!

We had an amazing stay at this property. Extremely cleanly and spacious! We loved the outdoor patio area, the location (perfect distance between Baytown wharf and beach) and the golf cart came in great use!

Great location with a few issues

Property is in need of some TLC and updating. Sofa is very uncomfortable, area rug in living room needs to be professionally cleaned, or replaced. Unit was not as clean as many of the previous locations we have stayed. Sandestin Golf and Beach club is beautiful. Asked for a extra hour or two for check out on the final day and was denied. We rented the unit wit a six seat golf cart, cart was involved in a accident prior to arrival. We were contacted by property management co. Vacation Haven, called and explained the situation, the told us the could get us a four seater I told them that was fine as long as it was comparable to six seater that would be fine. When we arrived a cart that was run down, mold on the seats, faded paint, no street legal horn, or turn signals.

Disappointing Stay

Our stay was disappointing due to several things. Due to the villa’s location within the Sandestin Beach and golf resort, we expected to have the same amenities as units booked through Sandestin.com. That was not the case. No amenities were included with this booking. For example we were charged $17 per person per hour for tennis and did not have access to the fitness facility. We had 2 main complaints with the unit. First there are no coverings on the lower level windows. This was fine in the daytime. However, As we stayed in January, the unit cooled down in the evenings making it necessary to go upstairs to turn the heat on. All the adjacent units had window coverings. Our second dissatisfaction was the steep flight of stairs with narrow risers to access the second floor of the unit. To summarize, we would not have rented this unit if we had seen it beforehand

Sandestin "Pro" Rates This as Outstanding!

I lived in Destin near Sandestin during the original construction of the resort and know every square inch of the resort. This location (with golf-cart) is THE best. Easy golf-cart ride to the beach and other fun locations. Super value with nice gathering space for meals at home and great pool area.

Great location

We had a blast staying here. Our car haven't moved much since arrival thanks to the golf cart. Beach, pool, dinning within minutes. We found the tunnel to the bay side (bay towne by marina - fun for all) after a while though. Couldn't find the other pool on the north side. 6 mins to walmart (just in case). 10 mins to top sail state park - recommended I can't remember if description mentions the grill but there is one which was cleaned for us before we left. Bring your own streaming device if you want to watch your favorite show in case of crappy weather. Apps cannot be added to a smart TV and you don't have to log in to someones devices. Two beach chairs and an umbrella in the storage in the front :) The beach is shared with some huge hotels by the beach so expect the front row to be taken by umbrellas and chairs for rent. A 10-minute Walk East along the water towards the state park and you will find your private beach More Public Access beaches 10 minutes West by car along Scenic Drive Great times. :)

Helpfull tidbits for future renters

Cozy-yes Clean -yes Location - great Golf cart - working and great No curtains in living room = very bright and no privacy - anyone can see in No curtains or blinds in kitchen window- no privacy Dishwasher needs cleaned out - smelled like fish Bring TP - only 6 were provided Bring paper towels - only 1 provided Bring trash bags - only 2 Bring dish soap - a tiny bottle was provided Bring dishwasher soap- only two provided Bring detergent for laundry Only two dish towels provided No comforter On 1 bed -it was just sheets so if you need more warmth bring extra Bring a broom - no broom provided Bring hand soap - none provided in bathrooms Each shower had a travel size shampoo and conditioner and small bar of soap Bring cleaner spray to clean off table -none provided Again - we were disappointed we just have stayed at places where hosts think of everything so you are not scrambling when you get there to get things - that’s why I think reviews are helpful and it should be less of everything was great to what could help the next renter enjoy it better
