Bayfront delight!

We stayed just over a week and really enjoyed the property! It’s an upstairs, end unit with a gorgeous view of the bay from the back patio. There is a surprisingly large bathroom which made getting ready for dinner easy with both my husband and I in it at the same time. The unit was very clean, dog-friendly and up to date. The only point future renters should consider is that the front door is downstairs and the steps lead up to an open landing. We used baby gate to keep our very small dogs away from that area but I would also recommend doing that if you have small children. We loved this quiet little piece of heaven and would definitely stay there again. We’ve been coming to that area for years.

Fun weekend

The property was cute and clean although very dated furnishing wise, pretty much thrift store furniture. You couldn’t ask for better hosts as very responsive and courteous. Great location, wonderful stay and would definitely book with them again.

When can we come back?

This place was absolutely perfect for us. The view from the balcony is amazing. We couldn’t believe how quiet this place was. We have stayed on the resort before, but never on the north shore, and never in this townhome. We sat on the balcony and watched fish jump in the water, pelicans dive, wind surfers and the most beautiful sunsets. The golf cart made it super easy to go to the beach, to Baytowne Wharf, to Publix, and just around the resort. This townhome was right next to Sunset Bay Café, which had really good food and really good service. We enjoyed ourselves and really want to return.

2023 Florida Vacation and Exploring Area

Excellent and perfect size for us. First time in Sandestin. Visited panhandle many times over the last forty years. We will be heading back to Sandestin. Hopefully, 960A will be available. Enjoyed the resort and the convenience.

We were a little disappointed with the place. Kitchen appliances sub par at best. Shower was kinda under construction. Golf cart was not a good cart compared to previous stays. Dogs in unit below barked for two days straight. We had ants in the bathroom we reported day one and no one ever contacted us back.Probably would not stay there again.

Overall Great, Some Room for Improvement

My wife and I had a nice stay at this property. The golf cart was awesome and really helped us get to the beach and around the resort with ease. Beach was incredibly crowded but was still very nice and fun. The beach chairs provided are crucial or else you will spend $80+ to rent them. The balcony and view of the bay were also great. I would recommend this property to others but with a few caveats: 1. The walls are paper thin and the renters downstairs had two dogs that barked non-stopped during our trip. We complained to the rental agency and I believe they tried to address it, however, it didn't really help. Luckily they were quiet when we slept. 2. The upstairs and downstairs apartment are connected through a door. I accidentally opened up the door to the downstairs apartment our first day there thinking it was a closet. Made us nervous of the access between both spaces and whether the downstairs tenant could open our door. 3. Directions in general could be more clear. Have no idea what the parking situation was. Luckily we did not have a car with us, but there appeared to only be 1 parking spot between both apartments. 3. Early check-in is not an option at all. The company cited the code on the door being timed and not able to override as the reason. I even offered to pay extra for early check in but it was not allowed. We were thankful they let us drop stuff off in their office while we waited.

Great location - Loved the golf cart!

This unit was ideal for our trip. Beautiful views of the bay. Scenic walking tours. Took the golf cart everywhere in Sandestin. Would definitely stay here again!

Amazing location, perfect for small family

Studio unit was perfect for our small family. Great location, awesome view of the bay, clean unit contained everything we needed, golf cart to get around the resort was great.

disapointed

Disappointed. The day before our scheduled arrival my wife landed in the ER with a 10mm obstructing kidney stone. The ER Dr. advised no travel for the next few days and the the stone was surgically removed a few days later. I'm glad we got the medical situation resolved first and foremost. I realize we were outside the window of time for any kind of refund or reschedule. We run a bed and breakfast ourselves and we have never kept anyones money for a personal emergency cancellation. Sometimes there are more important things in life than money. We were hoping that this place would be our new getaway location but that's not going to happen. I even inquired about at least a refund on the cleaning fees since we never set foot in the place, and that was ignored. We provided documentation from the Dr. and ER with orders advising us not to travel. We've enjoyed many stays at BnB's and VRBO rentals, but I think in the future we will stick with hotel accommodations. We had a 12 hour drive to this destination and we had booked a one night stay at a Marriott that was along the way and we were able to cancel that reservation the day of our arrival without any charge. We asked if we could reschedule with this rental and that was denied. This was a significant amount of money and not a penny could be recovered or some kind of arrangement worked out. Karma folks.

Quiet studio right on the bay.

Nice get away, peaceful, beautiful view over the bay. Watched the redfish & ducks right from the patio. SanDestin is a real nice spot to get away. Many amenities.

Nice property

Really enjoyed staying here. Location was perfect. Golf cart was very convenient. Accommodated us at last minute because of an issue with original house we had rented. Only complaint was said it was pet friendly, until they found out we had a bird. Wanted a $500 nonrefundable deposit for possible damages which I think is a little ridiculous. The bird stays in a cage…unlike a dog that probably runs around and sheds everywhere. Happy they could accommodate us last minute, disappointed about the pet policy.

We'll be back

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Only thing we had trouble with was getting in initially-- tried to get in right at 4 and I believe there was a slight delay in the door code working (couldn't get in until 402). Before arriving, I would suggest asking for the WIFI if you're needing to work. That way you have it when you arrive. The coffee maker takes K-Cups. All information I asked for before arrival but wasn't an issue to obtain either. If you're looking for a spot that's great for a couple going to reset and just enjoy each others company, this is the spot! Beautiful home, breath-taking views and extremely peaceful. We will be back to this place.

Clean and comfortable.

I only give it 4 stars because of lack of info on arrival. Had to call about parking and a neighbor helped us track down the golf cart location. Otherwise it was a great place. The balcony over the bay was wonderful.
