The place to stay!

Pros Beautiful, roomy, clean and lovely screened in porch! The clubhouse with the pool was fabulous! You can rent free movies and bikes! They host great gatherings like Sundaes on Sunday! The house comes with lots of beach chairs and toys just bring your own Sun beach umbrellas. The host respond quickly when you ask questions. Cons Parking is very tight but, manageable. Lots of pots and pans but, must bring condiments (seasoning, cooking oils etc),bring extra clothes detergent and bring your own beach towels. It gets very cold on the 2nd and 3rd floor even after you adjust the thermostat. The private beach was hard to find. So we just went to the public beach which was very nice. Very nice! I would definitely stay here again!

The location was amazing!

We loved the area. The communication with the management company wasn’t very good. We had issues with the dryer and ice machine the entire stay. The half bath toilet was also not working properly when we arrived, but was fixed. We usually get one with a 6 seater golf cart and with 6 guest, the 4 seater just didn’t cut it. Our fault not theirs. Pool towels were supposed to be in the rental, I called and they were supposed to be brought, which never happened. Minor inconveniences, but things to think about. We loved the porches and the pier to walk out on the. The pool and clubhouse were great to utilize!

July 2022 in Miramar Beach

Nice property. I like the exclusivity of the gated community and this property being on a cul de sac. Nice home, spacious and well broken up to allow individual privacy. Golf cart is nice, pool across the street is nice. New frying pans are a plus. The air conditioner upstairs was on owner lockout due to humidity problems and ran continuously, at night reaching 61 degrees. The guest bedroom upstairs toilet ran continuously until a maintenance guy came on Thursday and rebuilt it. Our clothes washer was broken when we arrived and the manager sent two people at week's end Friday night to replace, at 9pm I was fed up with their inability to figure out how to separate the stacker unit and remove it. They were noisy, disruptive, there way too late and preventing us from putting our grandbaby to sleep. They left, and left the unit in the hallway promising to return Saturday after we left. Why not replace it on Saturday? It's creepy having two strange men roaming around the house you rented with all of your stuff there and no one home. This was a mistake and really spoiled our mood. Bad management. The property gets a just B rating from me for these items. It's ok, but for the money I would / will consider looking elsewhere.

Very nice stay...

Location and club amenities very nice. House perfect for a family gathering. Would recommend. Only negatives, Furnishings will probably need updating soon, Refrigerator not great, kitchen cooking supplies need updating; some mold in upstairs master shower needs better cleaning. Overall excellent stay, easy check-in. Thank you

Excellent neighborhood / area, numerous maintenance issues, very poor Property Management

Find another property within this gated community with (definitely) a different Property Management company. Of the numerous maintenance issues we experienced, the worst was the Golf Cart charger / battery issues which left us stranded twice [EXTREME corrosion on terminals, shielding missing from the power cable which is also a safety issue]. We did not receive our check-in code until almost 1 hour after check-in however when we requested a 30 minute late check-out it was DENIED.

Family Vacation 2021

Enjoyed our stay. Property was in good shape. Great location. Great view of the bay with Awesome sunsets. The only negative is the Grill could have been cleaned before our stay and the Golf cart needs a new charger because charging cable is damaged.

Amazing home, great location

The property was amazing. The home is beautiful and the location was very convenient to shopping and dining! We would highly recommend this home. It was beautiful, spacious and felt very comfortable for the whole family. The only complaint was the toilet seat needs replaced in master bath. It was clean, that was not the issue. In a home this immaculate, little details are important and that would be a small cost to update. Also, we would have loved to have a bigger golf cart but super nice feature to offer the golf cart!

Loved the property and location

There was definitely no “special COVID” cleaning process. The floors were dirty, there was what appeared to be feces on the master bathroom toilet door and floor...the entry doors to and from the porches were filthy. Fortunately I brought some cleaning products. Something under the sink smelled terrible and I couldn’t figure out why. Maybe the garbage disposal is not functioning properly. We didn’t use it. We cooked a lot and I loved the stove. The grill also needs a major cleaning. The house was well stocked and the proximity to the pool was the BEST. Having a golf cart was awesome!!! The cleanliness factor was our only complaint.

Nice house. Great location. The COVID rules right now have the office closed which offers some confusion on how to check in and get keys / gate pass. The beach access with this property is overcrowded. The public beach down the road was much less crowded and nicer. Overall, it was a very good experience and highly recommended.

Wonderful property!

The house was great for the 10 adults (husband and me with our 4 kids and their friends) who stayed there. Loved the windows looking out to the surrounding underbrush and the boardwalk and bay in the near distance! The dining table is great for gathering everyone together, the coffee table was perfect for playing games and building puzzles with pull-out chairs for convenience. The deck to the side of the kitchen was great for our outdoor cooking. (We didn't use the other amazing screened-in decks but only because of cold and rainy weather). The beds were verrrry comfortable and the bathrooms were luxurious and well-stocked with extra towels. The clubhouse was great for grabbing a cup of complementary espresso or hot cocoa and we played pool as well as helped add some pieces to the community puzzle which was laid out for people to enjoy. The rainy weather did not allow us to enjoy the pool and hot tub, but EVERYTHING about the included amenities was special. We would have liked to check out Baytowne Villages, which was a short walk away, if the weather had cooperated! Finally, the staff in the clubhouse were incredibly personable and we received quick answers to questions from the property manager when we needed help. We're so thankful to all who made our time so enjoyable...we would definitely stay here again!

Definitely a stay again property

We rented this property for a conference we attended at the Sandestin Resort. It was a very convenient location and although we rented a vehicle, we could have easily done everything with the use of the golf cart. The property was as advertised. We would definitely stay at the same location again.

The place was great! Great location, very easy getting settled and everything. Close enough to everything but still with plenty of privacy. I definitely recommend this for any looking for a quick couple nights down by the beach or a long family trip.

The only complaint we have is the doors to the patios do not lock and open by themselves if the front door opens or shuts. The locks do not work. Other than that the property was beautiful and our stay was nice.

Beautiful home and our kids loved it

The home was perfect. Spacious and every amenity well planned. My only complaint is that the shuttle system rarely ran down to Inspiration which forced us to drive or walk quite a distance to catch a tram and the beach was unbelievably packed. Our first day our rented beach chairs and umbrella was on row 6 back from the beach. We were there during peak time and we’ve been staying in seaside for past few years and had not experienced sharing a small area with thousands of people. Almost more like an outdoor concert hangout area than a private beach. Having said that our teenagers loved all the additional people and it was a family vacation geared toward their entertainment. It’s more of a preference thing. The water was crystal clear and sand was crisp white.

Private, upscale and perfect location! All seven in our family enjoyed the home, the location to the wharf and the great staff. Highly recommend this home for families wanting to take in the best in Destin. Beth at the office is a huge help!

Our family loved the place. Clean top to bottom. Kitchen was well supplied. Great linens. Ample rooms. Super view of fireworks. Bathrooms were great. More bathmats would be good. Instructions for use of entertainment system would be great. Wonderful place and well managed.
