Summer Vacation

The house was clean and decorated beautifully. The sheets and bath towels were super soft. The nearest pool was very small and the beach was really too far to drive by golf cart. For that reason, I don’t think we would stay here again. We had a good time but the location just didn’t fit our needs.

Best VRBO Ever

We had such a great stay! The golf cart can get you anywhere and it’s just a short ride through a beautiful area to the beach. We will be staying here again! We did not realize it was a part of a resort, which was perfect!

Great Property

My family owns another property in the Bungalo neighborhood and needed some extra space. This property is clean and well tended. We will keep it in mind for the future! We would recommend it for anyone looking for a Sandestin vacation.

Beach bliss in Baytowne

This was a very pleasant stay! No complaints with cottage only praise. Golf cart access was super convenient. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen well stocked. Loved screened porch. Would stay again!! If taking elderly family members note stairs were hard to navigate but master on main = solution.

Wonderful time

The property was very clean. The property manager was also responsive to a slight stopped up shower drain. Lots of fun things to do in the area! The only confusion we had was regarding the pet fee. The site shows a flat fee but there is an additional fee for any dogs over one. We did not know this until our second installment was due so we were taken by surprise. Property manager responded to our questions about this quickly. I recommend this property for a family vacation site.

Great Property & Amazing Location

The neighborhood is quiet and tucked off with a cool tropical vibe. The house was decorated very nicely and the floors felt clean when we entered which is a huge plus in my book! We spent every evening playing cards on the cutest front porch and the bedroom setup is great for couples or family with older children! The golf carts made beach trips a breeze and being able to utilize them to shop in The Grand Boulevard and Baytown Wharf was also a huge hit among our group! We absolutely loved our stay in Bungalo 2497 and will definitely be returning to this rental!

Nice Location

I loved the location. The beds were comfortable. The layout was great. Decor was pleasant. The kitchen was functional. My biggest complaint was that there was long black dog hair everywhere and we did not have a dog. I initially swept upon arrival, since I have a 3 year old, to find the floor and carpet covered with hair. The dryer even had dog hair in it after I used it on our first load. Also, in one bedroom my children found peeled of fake nails.

Great location at end of street with a nice screened in porch out front. Bedrooms are large and cozy with plenty of towels. Family area was well enjoyed by everyone. Would definitely recommend.

Last minute summer trip

This was a great little bungalow! We wanted something close to the beach where we could bring our fur babies and this was perfect. The beach is not super close but the golf cart makes it easy and a fun little ride. The resort is beautiful and we enjoyed it, but the beach was extremely crowded. We ended up taking our car to find a public beach access that was a little less populated. We had a little trouble with the code on the front door, sometimes had to put it in multiple times to make it work, but it was ok once we figured that out. The owner was super responsive and helpful with questions. We also enjoyed fishing off the pier! My only suggestion would be the property could probably use a deep cleaning. It wasn’t bad but things like the handrails on the stairs and the baseboards could use some attention. All in all we really enjoyed it and would definitely come back!

Great location, golf cart needs work

This property is in the Bugaloos of San Destin Resort which is a perfect location. You are right between the wharf and grand boulevard (less than 1 mile either way). The home is well kept and well stocked. The pictures on line are very accurate. The neighborhood is quiet and there is a nice clean pool to use. I only gave it 4 stars because of the golf cart. It either needs to be replaced or needs serious maintenance. The batteries needed to constantly be charged and if you have 4 people in it then you really drain the battery fast. We definitely would stay here again but please do something about the golf cart.

I love this part of Sandestin. It is close to all the action but very quiet and secluded. This was our second year coming down for the New Year. Always a great time. Would love to have used the newer golf cart and the grill has a short and we were unable to use but everything else was perfect.

Beautiful, warm Thanksgiving!

Our family came down for holiday week. Rented this house and another on same street. We went to beach, cooked and watched football. Excellent house! Very clean Well stocked kitchen. We rented the golf carts too and they really helped with everyone going to beach and to Village.

Everything was perfect...even the weather!

Beach house was clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. The only thing that could have possibly made it better was if it had been on the beach. Wonderful place to stay in Sandestin.
