Our experience with Ocean Reef property management was extremely disappointing. Despite submitting two online requests for a heated pool before our arrival, upon arrival we discovered pool wasn’t heated. We checked in March 9-14 (avg temps 44-68 Fahrenheit) On the first day, I called the property management team and was informed that they had no record of my request, despite i sent TWO emails 1) to housekeeping and 2nd) email to maintenance team. I was assured that someone would come to turn on the pool heater. However, on the second day, after a follow-up call, we were told that a part for the pool was broken, which by the way this info had never been communicated to us. We then discovered that none of the community pools were heated, contrary to what was stated in the listing. When addressing this issue with the Ocean Reef maintenance manager on day 2 of our stay, he deflected accountability by blaming the property owner for not communicating there was an issue w/pool heater. I informed maintenance mgr as small business owners we would appreciate any feedback from our customers good or bad sooo I hope ocean reefs pres/owner would like to know how his team is handling the customer’s experience! By day 3 of our trip pool still wasn’t heated - I sent an email requesting to speak to Ocean Reef upper management- never heard back from anyone!
Ultimately, due to this unsatisfactory experience, we have decided not to book any rental properties managed by Ocean Reef in the future
