It was the best house we have stayed at.... period. Plenty of room, 2 sets of washer and dryers, PLENTY of seating/sleeping for our LARGE group. My absolute FAVE was the kitchen. It is amazing, the showers in the master and the one on the second floor had 3 nozzle heads (talk about dream shower) our golf carts were at the house upon arrival (be sure to ask about), no hassle. Beach was a block away with private access. The pool was something out of a movie, colored lights, clean and perfect. The upstairs balcony on the top will take your breath away, literally if it's windy (you're so high up) the outdoor kitchen was a great option for cooking out for the whole week we were there. The pool table was a HIT with our older children. The ladies that work at the Wintertide office were AMAZING. Huge round of applause to you'll because I know I called you CONSTANTLY with questions. They sent us top deep-sea excursions website via text and other excursions. We had to call one day because one of the kids locked the master bedroom door and we couldn't get in; there was a handy man there is less than 2 minutes to open. Thank you Wintertide for the AMAZING vacation. We look forward to next year :)

This was our 5th family trip and our 2nd to the Destin area. The house was in a great location with ample space for all. We loved the pool and game room. We just had a few things that we thought could be a lot better. The house is in need of a second refrigerator or a the very least the only one that was available is in need of repairs. The ice maker did not work and the whole fridge is in bad shape as for as shelving. Not a lot of room for food for this size of the house. Many shelves missing in it. The first night we were there we woke up to a leaky fridge and this was never fixed. One of the bunk rooms bathroom is in need of repair. As far as the cleaning, I'm not sure for the price you pay the house cleaners is worth it. Crumbs on the counters and dirty floors with hair balls floating around. The TV's in the bunk room didn't work. The kitchen was not as well equipped as past houses we have been in. Don't get me wrong, we loved the house but I am not sure if the owners are aware of these issues and we felt they needed to know as it is a very beautiful and expensive house. We would rent it again but feel these issues should be addressed. Thank you

Perfection!

This house was beyond amazing for our two family Vacay. From the moment we entered we knew this was the perfect location and accommodation for the week ahead. With 13 adult adults and two infants, there was plenty of room for us to spread out, yet be close enough for food, fun, and activities. Communication with both property rental as well as the host was extremely efficient, professional, and pleasant. While we were there, we ended up adding a golf cart which was delivered within one hour, the pool was cleaned, and bikes were serviced to make sure everything was working properly. The layout allowed for maximum privacy with every couple having their own room, as well as bunk rooms for the singles.The pool was one of our favorite activities as well as the two large tables that allowed for everyone to enjoy meals together. This house had it all, and we will definitely be returning!

Great house!

Winteride was beautiful, and perfect for our family of 19. The pool and outdoor area was the best! It would have been more convenient to be able to access the beach at Miami St instead of walking down to Hollywood. We had 2 almost 80 year olds and it was tough for them to walk to the beach each day. It just didn’t make sense that we couldn’t access that entrance. Other than that, it was a great week in a great place!

Family vacation

We had 8 adults and six children. The walk to the beach was about 1/4 mile. The wagons were not helpful in that there are only stairs to get to the beach. A ramp would be helpful. The pool was amazing and the kids swam every night. A nice big kitchen. Plenty of bedrooms and showers. The game room was also enjoyed. The ice maker, wine cooler and fridge on the lower level are also a plus. Two dishwashers and a large stove.

Family vacation haven

We had 17 folks staying here from 3 different generations and never felt crowded. The kitchen is absolutely perfect for feeding a big group like ours. Great responsiveness from the management company. Our only issue was there was a crack in the seal of the oven so baking or roasting anything took 4x as long as normal. We would return for sure!

Incredible!

The favorite memory our our entire trip for one of our grandchildren was the house! There were 20 of us from 18 months to 74 and the house was perfect!! We never felt crowded, there was enough space to feel comfortable. The pool was another favorite memory for several. Thank you, our 50th anniversary celebration together was more than we ever expected!!!!

Great property and location but some things need replaced/upgraded.

The house is huge and beautiful. Overall we were pleased. We did have some issues with fans not working, tv’s not working, batteries behind dead in remotes, etc. Also, all thermostats were set to 74 and would not turn down even a little. It made it hot at night. I get it during the day but at night we woke up sweating a lot. The grill needs cleaned really bad. We couldn’t cook without it catching on fire because of all the grease build up.

We had 4 families and this house fit us all perfectly. Plenty of space to gather or spread out. Meal time is super easy with the set up of the kitchen. Location overall was great. Beach is close and an easy walk. Property manager was prompt and clear with instructions start to finish. Easy check in and check out instructions. We would definitely rent this space again in a heart beat.

Wintertide is amazing!

Wintertide was amazing. The photos in the listing do not do the property justice. Our group of eight adults and 10 kids loved everything about this place. The location is great and just a short walk to the beach which we went to a couple times a day for ocean adventures because it was so convenient. The pool is amazing with plenty of sun and shade throughout the day. Accommodations and bedrooms were all outstanding. Kitchen is thoroughly stocked. Property manager was very prompt and thorough in responses to any questions that we had such as how to operate the Sonos speaker system or access bikes. If you’re complaining about this place, you need to try harder to enjoy life.

great location

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful house. There were a few things that didn't work. The fan in the outdoor space was out of order and the ice maker did not work. Also it wasn't very handicap accessible. The ramp they brought didn't meet our needs. There are a few bricks out by the pool that need to be replaced that could cause a tripping hazard. But for the most part the house met our needs and was very spacious and had enough room for our family of 24.

Beautiful impressive property..... but overall amenities missed the mark for what we paid :(.

At first look the property is VERY IMPRESSIVE, a very beautiful house/pool with top notch construction features. However there were issues:(. 1. The (Beach Reunion) golf cart that was delivered was visibly outdated... slow, old, rusty and most importantly did not hold a charge. I could not believe Beach Reunion would even consider putting that cart w that house. After driving it for a short time I had to push it back from the beach w my kids on it! My first call to report the problem the rep told me they had to consult with the owner and they would get back with me, but my call was never returned. The NEXT AFTERNOON, I HAD TO CALL THEM BACK, I felt like I had to be assertive for a solution...they had a vendor deliver a new cart, which was top notch I must say, but I didn't pay top dollar for the week to have to be assertive to get what was part of the deal...right? 2. Your gated beach entrance access is about 2 blocks away and you cannot access the closer entrance that is just at the end of the street(1block). There are people that monitor the gate entrances and enforce it + you have to have a specific code to get access to a particular gate. 3. The old Ice maker on 1st floor never worked and was dry at arrival. We were told to keep our ice receipts for re-imbursement, (approx 6-8bags/day) from 4 families....once again, are you really going to make me work to get the benefit of an advertised amenity? 4. There was a very nice pool table...unfortunately the 3 pool cues available were all broken trash. 5. In order to get a clear view of the water at the beach you have to rent umbrellas and chairs from La Dolce Vita or walk 1/3 mile down the beach. The chairs and umbrellas from Beach Reunion were nice but we had to schlep back and forth from beach and we could only set them up behind the La Dolce Vita chairs/umbrellas unless you get to the beach before 8am. 6. Complaints w both king size mattresses on 3rd floor - broke down with craters in them. 7. BEAUTIFUL pool did not seem to filter properly during our stay. Beach Reunion did have the pool guy out to no avail. 8. Beach Reunion did have their maintenance guys out to replace the broke/old ceiling fan on the main floor poolside patio when we mentioned it did not work. 9. Could use a 2nd refrigerator for 17ppl. Biggest issue was value....We paid top price for our stay during peak season 7/16-7/23....I felt like things should have been much better for the dough:(.

Spacious Family Vacation Home with Heated Pool
