The rental was perfect for our family. The location is quiet yet very close to the beach scene. We loved that the rooms had king beds for all the couples. The large 6 seat golf cart was a great bonus for traveling the beach roadway. Great communication with the host and were very prompt to fix one small issue with the washer. Will definitely stay here again.

Family trip to Destin

The property was very clean everything that we needed was included in the property. It was nice to have the golf cart. I felt like everything was very seamless. The only thing I wish is instead of just dropping a pen that they would attach an address so we knew exactly where we were going. Besides that I would recommend this as there was a lot of room and the closest to the beach was very good.

Family spring break

House was really nice neighborhood was good. Biggest think was I rented this house because it came with a golf cart saved us 800/900 dollars. But it golf carts battery wouldn’t last long and took 8 hrs to charge. We have had electric golf carts in the past and they were way better than this. Our friends had an electric golf cart and their battery would last way longer than ours and wouldn’t take very long to charge back up. Very disappointing because we were planning on using that for a lot of stuff and we didn’t get to use it very often.

Spring Break

The house itself was nice. I don’t know if it was because we were the first of the season to rent but it wasn’t fully cleaned. Our feet were not clean after walking on the floors. It lacked amenities that I have always had at every other rental. There were not basics like salt and pepper, spices, or coffee. There was 1 roll of paper towels, only 2 garbage bags, overall very low supplies. The beach umbrella was broken and the bikes weren’t ready. The absolute worst of all was the golf cart. It DID NOT WORK. Response was SLOW. We were told 2x it was good and functioning. It broke down and we had to PUSH IT. Obviously, not safe. I spent a lot of vacation time on the phone with the company back and forth instead of enjoying vacation. Calling the company was very frustrating. I would talk to someone, they would put me on hold talk to someone else, ask me a question, go back to the other person and on and on. Why couldn’t I just directly speak to someone? The call would have been much less frustrating and a lot quicker. We had to change plans and miss out on plans made. They did not have a replacement available. We chose this property over others specifically for this amenity.

CLEAN & AMAZINV LOCATION!!

This place was super clean and we could tell as soon as we walked in. Host was very easy to get ahold of and very responsive. We had absolutely no issues. The location was the best part! Short golf cart ride to the beach. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect long weekend!

We had a wonderful stay! The house was accommodating for our family of 5 (3 under 5) and nanny. The home came with a crib which we found convenient. We had plenty of room and didn’t feel like we were on top of each other. Would definitely stay again!

Great fall get-away

We had an amazing time at this house. There were 4 women in our party - girls trip!! We all had our own rooms and we’re very comfortable. We used the golf cart every day to go to the beach, shopping, and dining. It was only a 4 minute walk to the beach but we took chairs and coolers so the cart was easier. I highly recommend this house!

Good beach vacation house

This property is conveniently located near the beach. It’s not directly on scenic gulf drive, so you can be tucked away from all of the beach goers. The house is beautiful. We would consider this house again for future visits.

Great all around.

We’ve been to the Destin/Mirimar area for years and this has been my favorite stay. The house roomy, all the rooms felt like masters and was VERY clean. The pools were a good size and the neighborhood was quiet and in a great location. The golf cart was the nicest one we had as well. We plan on staying here again!

Very roomy and clean vacation home

We were very pleased with this property. There was plenty of room for everyone in our party and this home was very comfortable. Some females in our group wanted better water pressure ( I thought it was fine). A suggestion I have is door mats to help keep the floors clean and sand from being walked into the house. The golf cart came in very handy, but it was still a challenge at times to find a parking space at the beach. For those who carry only a couple of things to the beach, it is a fairly short walk. We would definitely rent this home again. The pros far outweigh the couple of minor drawbacks mentioned.

Great house for group of all ages

The house was clean and in good condition. It is well stocked to meet all of your needs during your stay. It was nice to have washer and dryers on both floors of the house. The neighborhood is in close proximity to the beach. The golf cart was a nice bonus to get around to places nearby. We had a great vacation!

Relaxing and perfect

The home was just as listed, the golf cart was a great amenity. The neighborhood was lovely. The beds were comfy. There was plenty of room for all 8 of us (3 were children). There are 2 pools on property that were clean and well maintained. Easy walk to beach or golf cart ride! Loved it will definitely stay again!

Great location

The house is beautiful and I personally loved the way it was decorated. Both king beds were very firm so a bit uncomfortable for us but not a deal-breaker. Kids enjoyed the bikes and community pools. Great house for families. I do suggest renting the golf cart as it’s a good walk to the beach.

Almost Perfect

Our stay at Aquaholics was fantastic. In total, we had six adults and two children staying under one roof and the space never felt cramped. The location was perfect, the rooms were clean, the kitchen was well organized, and they had a clothes washer and dryer on each floor. It was an easy 7-10 minute walk to the beach (which is saying something when you have a 3 and 5 year old walking with you) and about a 2 minute walk to the community pool. It was also great that the property had a large industrial strength beach wagon to haul our chairs, toys, and umbrellas. Just be mindful that if you load it up, you'll need a couple adults/strong teenagers to haul it down the stairs leading to the beach. The property had a foosball table which the boys loved. It really was a great place to stay. The only negative comment I have about the place was the floors were really dirty. Walking around the house barefoot turned the bottoms of our feet black. I did not notify the property manager because that's not my style and I just wore flip flops all around the house after the first day, but it was disappointing considering what we paid for the place. Overall, we had a great experience and made a lot of great memories. Assuming the dirty floors were an unfortunate oversight, I would highly recommend the Aquaholics house to anyone looking to get away.
