Family friendly and good location

The house was walking distance to a lot of things. The private beach access is not far at all but no canopies allowed, only umbrellas. All the rooms are spacious, only down side is the two bunk bed rooms will have to share a bathroom. House was pretty clean. Pool was a bit dirty when we got there but. Someone came to clean it the next day. There were some disinflated floats and beach gear in the landscape around the pool.

Perfect location!

Beautiful property, loved every single thing about it. Plenty of room for all 16 of us comfortably. We love cooking in, kitchen had everything we needed and seating for all.

Company trip

Took a whole staff of teachers on a 4 day vacation for teacher appreciation . And the vacation house was everything we needed and more. The pool was awesome house was spacious and the location was everything. 20 minutes from crab island. The teachers had a blast

Enjoyable for large families

Although it was cold. We enjoyed the house. We appreciated our host answering all our concerns and questions. We plan on returning. The only thing I will say the pool looked a lot bigger on the pictures it also had lots of leaves stuck to the bottoms of the pool we tried to clean as much as we could. We still enjoyed it and plan on returning in the summer time.

Disappointed

Upon arrival the AC was not working but a repairman was contacted and cooling was functional. Noticed the floors were extremely dirty. Called the property management and they sent a cleaning crew over to vacuum and mop. There was no propane gas for the grill. Contacted property management, and they sent someone over with a replacement. Dishwasher did not work, contacted property management and they sent a repair man over to fix the issue. Disappointed due to the issues and our understanding that an inspection was to be conducted prior to our arrival. Would not recommend this property or other properties associated to this management group even though they did correct the issues when notified.

Awesome house!!

We had a wonderful stay here. Plenty of room for the 12 of us with empty beds still. Walked to the beach everyday (maybe 3 min walk), right next door to Alvin’s, ice cream, coffee place, restaurants. Pool was nice with plenty of chairs. House was fully stocked. Beds were sooo comfy! Will definitely stay here again!!!

A few more supplies would be good

The house is great. Really nicely decorated and great set up for larger groups/multiple families. We were a party of 9 so a few extra beds. That said, it would feel cramped if there were 20 people in the party. My big complaint is that for price I don’t expect to have to supply toilet paper, kitchen paper, dish soap, etc. In all the years I’ve stayed in a VRBO I’ve never had to supply these and have always found the kitchen had basic supplies - salt, pepper, oils, kitchen foil etc that admittedly other guests have left behind. I would also expect beach chairs and towels to be provided. I can’t believe we are the only guests to fly in and not be able to bring these things. Also to only have one kitchen towel and no kitchen cleaning supplies to wipe down the kitchen counter seems crazy. Just disappointing to have to spend a lot on basic kitchen supplies. We also could have used the two/three chairs that were on the porch just off the main floor bedroom- but the exterior door in that room to the porch was locked (and no key) and no way to get to them. Exterior landscaping could be better maintained. It’s a great house but those small things would make a huge difference and wouldn’t cost the owner much to provide. My final comment was that the house instructions supplied prior to arrival said no hair dryer was provided (again that’s a first) so we brought one with us - only to find three in the house. We had a great week despite these minor details

Beautiful Home, Perfect location

This home is huge, beautiful, and in a perfect location. I would definitely use them again. As stated in reviews before, there does seem to be a bug problem. It is Florida and we are almost on the beach, so I feel like it is to be expected. The home was very clean. The tv controller didn’t work in the master bedroom. I do think they should supply more dishwasher detergent if they expect us to start the dishwasher when we leave. These are all small things that don’t take away from how great this property is.

Watch out for the roaches!

The location is great but the house was disappointing. First, without a common bathroom on the first floor, it’s an inconvenience to go to the second or third floor when you need to use the restroom. Also, the oven was broken so we were unable to use it (although a toaster oven was later brought to the house for our use). The worst part was that there were many roaches in the kitchen and first floor bedroom which is totally unacceptable! For the amount paid for this home during prime time, we expected much better.

Great location But!!

Great location, but can’t do the bugs and dirty pool! This was our first trip to Florida. We had a great time. The beaches were beautiful, Crab Island was amazing, dolphin tour was a blast and everyone was great! The house was OK! When we arrived, the house was very clean, pool was running and crystal clear. The evening we arrived we ended up unpacking and decided to order pizza. As everyone was eating, we started noticing roaches along the kitchen counters, they even got into our pizza and had to throw it away. At first we thought it may have came from the pizza! We decided to clean it all up and we put a plate of food out to see if there was more, and there was. This went on the whole trip. We contacted the people and they said they would come out and spray and we don’t think they ever did. We ended up putting all food in the refrigerator and not keep ANY open foods on the counter or in the pantry! We even noticed the roaches in the downstairs bedroom and bathroom! The first night while we were hanging in the pool, we noticed rats running along the white trim of outside of the house. At first we thought we were seeing things, until we seen it again. My brother and son ended up going to the 2nd floor balcony and sure enough, there was one on there. We never noticed anything inside the house, but we made sure all doors were kept shut at all times! The first 2 days the pool was crystal clear, circulating each day and staying clean. The rest of the days, the pump never turned on, the water level started dropping and the pool was very cloudy and unable to see the bottom. Thank goodness for the beautiful Miramar Beach, the water was clean, clear and cool! Overall the house was very spacious for the amount of people we had. The location was great. Walking distance to the beach, souvenir shops and restaurants. We will definitely be back, but unfortunately not to this house!!

Great get-away!

We had a group of 14 ladies for a bachelorette party and this VRBO was perfect! We got extra TP and supplies from the Publix nearby. The beach was an easy walk. I would definitely recommend this VRBO to others!

Beautiful home excellent for a large group
