Family Adventure to Destin

Destin is very pretty. The water really is emerald green. Very big house. No elevator! The big master suite in on the 3rd floor, so we had to stay in the first floor bedroom, which is small and contains the non private bathroom. Not convenient. Had 13 people use our bathroom everyday, so cleanliness was an issue and no privacy. The pool is very small. The bed in the first floor bedroom was squeaky and the mattress was very uncomfortable. Very nice kitchen. Safe neighborhood. Freezer was not freezing popsicles. Walk to beach was about 10 minutes.

Perfect amenities and location to enjoy the beach

Great location, just a short walk to the beach from the back walk through gate. Alvin's Island is across the street, as well as Pompano Joe which has a great beach bar. Dairy Queen, Bad Ass Coffee, shopping. Home was equipped with everything we needed to enjoy our family time together.

Very nice but some issues

This home is beautiful and the pool is great! The house listing says sleeps 20. However, we had a party of 10 with one person in a wheelchair. I contacted them in advance to make sure the entire bottom floor was handicap accessible. . It is not! The theater room is a full step down , the pool area is also a large threshold and a small step down, the shower in the downstairs bathroom is a heafty step in and no seat or shower chair available (even when asked for one), and both dining tables are tall so he couldnt even eat a normal meal with us. Also, the listing said there was a 2nd full size fridge in the garage. With a group this large we knew we would need it. There is no garage or 2nd fridge. The 2nd floor water heater does not keep up with a group this size. Most of the house was very clean but not part of the bathrooms (hair along baseboards & shower glass not clean). Lastly they had 8 forks! In a house that sleeps 20. We had to take turns when we all had breakfast together. accaccessible. I was assured it was,

Great location, very comfortable, plenty of room for everyone!

We had 4 families staying with 19 people. The kids ranged from 7 to 17. There was plenty of room for everyone. The location was great with very easy walking distance to beach access. Beds were comfortable, house in general very comfortable and clean. Plenty of towels, beach equipment and pool toys. The management company was very easy to work with. We had a wonderful time!

Friends and family spring break

The house was great for multiple families with kids! Our kids loved the pool and having a bunk bed room allowing them to sleep with their friends. The location was close to the beach and easily accessible to walk to restaurants near by! The host were quick to respond and were able to offer discounts to beach chairs and golf cart rentals.

Great Family House

Celebrated Christmas with 3 generations and there was enough room for everyone to be together and also to separate when needed - naps for young ones and space for teens. Great set up with 3 floors. The proximity to the beach and restaurants was great and although it was chilly during the time we went, the heated pool made up for it!

Wonderful Family Vacation

The house was wonderful and very comfortable for all our family15 of us! No issues- our questions were answered quickly and promptly. Minor problem getting golf cart charged was quickly handled and replacement cart brought to us. A wonderful family time with space for everyone!!

Visit cut short

We had to cut our stay short due to some issues, but Michael was gracious enough to help us out. The house is gorgeous and location is great. Perfect for a large group. Once all issues are resolved, we would gladly stay again!

Excellent Experience in a Beautiful House

My family of 16 stayed in Emerald Breeze for a week and had a perfect experience! The house was beautiful and so spacious. It was well stocked and only a half block from the private beach. The hosts were very responsive to our questions and did an excellent job in giving us thorough and clear instructions.We couldn't have asked for a better experience! Can't wait to go back!

Great house very close to private beach

The entire experience with this rental was exactly as described. There were absolutely no surprises. The door was literally open for us when we arrived. The linens were high quality. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen supplies were more like what I have at home than what I’ve seen in other rentals—definitely of a high quality that aligned with the home. The pool was clean and well cared for throughout our stay. We paid for heat, and the temperature was perfect—very warm and inviting when the early April beach days had ocean water in the mid 60s. The game room was a hit with the kids, and the owners left us with a fresh box of table tennis balls for the pool table-mounted table tennis top. The beach service was perfect, and the four Tommy Bahama chairs provided at the house were the highest quality. The upstairs balconies were all great. The furniture in the house was clean and comfortable. We had unnecessary reservations about the distance of the walk to the beach. There was a code lock community gate about 200 feet from the back door, then literally half a block to a coded gate for the beach. We paid for the chair and umbrella service and had surf-side seats ready by sunrise. The walk was close enough that we had no trouble allowing the children (10-16) to walk back unsupervised. We emailed the property manager when we changed to the spare propane and there was a new spare there in less than 12 hours. They were responsive throughout the entire experience.

The house was wonderful. The pool was small, but all we needed after a day at the beach. Plenty of pool & beach toys as well as chairs & umbrellas. The property around the house is in need of some cleanup. Great location for the beach and shopping and would consider staying in this house again in the future.

House was clean and spacious. Plenty of room for the 16 of us that stayed. The house is closer to the beach than you think it is from the map. Half of the walk is gated inside the community, and it only takes about 3 minutes to get to the private beach access. This was perfect. Thanks for having us.

Family vacation

My family of 14 people ranging from grandparents to infants stayed for one week. The walk to the beach is easy. We did buy a wagon to carry most of our items. because there was so many of us. I will say that the pool and game room was a huge hit with my grandkids.

Family Vacation

We rented this facility for a week in August 2023. I could not be happier with the rental property. The area was clean and appeared to be as described. Communication with the property owner and manager could not have been easier. This exceeded our expectations and we will rent again in the future.

2023 Family Vacation

This is a spacious and amazing house and is located in a quiet neighborhood! My husband and I, along with 8 family members, rented the house for a week and found it more than adequate to accommodate all of us. The house amenities were more than sufficient for our stay. The private beach entrance was within easy walking distance, and the pool was so refreshing that we used it every day. Another convenience was the beach umbrella/chair service which was offered at a discounted price. Last but not least, the host and his staff were so helpful and kind. Thank you for making this family vacation so nice for us, and we hope to rent from Harleman Vacation Rentals again!

Annual Summer Family Vacation Trip

++Great communication with the property manager. 1.Property had plenty of room. 2.Adequate appliances and cooking utensils. 3. Fees for golf cart and beach chairs/umbrellas rentals through the property manager were a great cost savings. 4.Easy access to the beach. 5. No problems with parking, we had 7 vehicles. 6. We frequently used the gas grill and pool. 7. The game room/Theater was great, except for being warm. One repair item: The oven gasket (left side) was loose and wouldn’t seal well. Which caused the oven to be less efficient.
