Comfortable and Convenient
Loved our stay at the Minturn Haus. Beds were very comfortable and the spaciousness and ceiling height made us feel at home. Very large dining room table but small kitchen. We elected to eat out with so many food options through the area. The wine theme of the apartment resonated with us but sure wish the wine bar downstairs was still in business. Everything was exactly as described and we would stay here again with pleasure. Thanks!

A most memorable rental that offers comfort, convenience and character. Fabulous HQ for ski trips and summer getaways. Hope to be back. For the owner/manager: -faint scent of gas in the “dining” quarters. -glassware in desperate need of cleaning -mystery visitor from the wild given paw prints in snow on deck!

Good Vaca right downtown Minturn
Sweet spot right downtown Minturn quick to either Vail or Beaver creek. The space is a little different as its setup has the bedroom separated from the rest of the living, bath and kitchen space by a breezeway but worked out great and had way more room than any other rental!

Good for close Friends good location
Nice well decorated apt in good location with very comfortable beds. The separation of the living area and sleeping area is a little strange but manageable. Nighttime visits to the bathroom might require a flash light to see the door keypad. Location is very good and within walking distance of almost all Minturn shops/restaurants. Parking was a little difficult as customers of the restaurant across the street tended to take your parking spot.

Fabulous Place
What a special place this is! Beautiful decor. Walking distance to restaurants and shops in a charming town and less than 20 min drive to two world class ski resorts. A true find! We will definitely stay again!

Christmas on the slopes 2021!
Beautiful property and location between Vail and Beaver Creek. Great communication from owner before and while on site. Comfy sleeping room and spacious living/ding room, along with perfect kitchen and bath for our needs. Loved the heated fireplaces and amenities. Would highly recommend and can’t wait to come back.

Quirky but spacious, this property is for people who want to see the “real” Colorado! Great place for a family or close group. We came for the fishing and this spot was perfect for us.

Great place for a guys or gal trip. Three large beds all in one room and fold out couch in living area. We had five adults on a fly fishing trip. Walking distance to everything you'd need - bars, restaurants, fly shop. Parking is only for one car at the apartment but can have other parking in public lot only a couple minutes away.

Loved our stay in Minturn! Perfect, authentic, so cozy!
The charming apartment was just right for family of 4. So cozy to sit on comfy couch next to gas stove after skiing. Kitchen had all the basics for coffee/hot coco, wine and take out. Lots of places to eat within walking distance. Thai, pizza, BBQ, Mexican and more. Sunrise Minturn cute coffee shop steps away. Avon also just a short drive up the road for more food options and of course no shortage in Vail. Vail 10 minutes away or if you’re brave can ski the Minturn Mile practically to your door. Our son did it and created a lasting memory! Bedroom very comfortable with warm down comforters and another cozy gas stove. Loved down to earth town of Minturn! Would definitely stay again!

Very nice property, away from the bustle of Vail
We found Minturn to be a quiet charming town. The property is nicely furnished with very nice interior architecture, and some good eating choices within short walking distance. Beware that the kitchen is very small, so if you plan on cooking anything you might find it difficult. Great value for the price

Fantastic Hidden Gem
Great property in Minturn just minutes from all this area has to offer... and situated in an ideal small town America setting. We had a great time Friday night listening to the live music at the winery! I think we met most of the residents of this charming town which made the evening even more magical. Make sure to try cooking your own steak at the midturn country club next door.

This is a beautiful property in the heart of Minturn, Co. Bedroom was very roomy and accommodating (3 beds to sleep 6). Small kitchen/living room/dining area was very well appropriated with great furnishing and all you would need to enjoy your stay. Overall, a great find in the small community of Minturn....

Marvelous in Minturn
The property, as described is above a little winery, and consists of two separate rooms-living room / dining area /kitchen / and bathroom and a few steps outside and back in to the bedroom. We were prepared for that and just brought slippers with us when we went back and forth. Warm and cozy and literally a stones throw from restaurants. My husband, son, and I skied in Vail and decided to drive as the bus schedule ran 3 times in the morning and 3 times later afternoon and we wanted flexibility to come and go. Although parking at the garage in Vail can be pricey ($30), the $4 cost for the bus one way added up to $24 for all of us so we drove. Would stay there again. Bet it's beautiful in the summer.

Great place, great town
We are so glad we discovered this wonderful place above the winery. It was very comfortable (and unique) and met all our needs. We are very happy with our choice to stay in Minturn versus one of the ski villages and will stay there on all future trips.

This is a great space for groups or families. Both the living space and sleeping area are huge, and because of how they are laid out, night owls or early birds won't affect sleepers on different schedules. Minturn is a fun town, too!

Beautiful rooms, cozy beds and perfect location.
My family had a great time staying at your place in Minturn. It is a beautifully decorated, has everything you need including paper towels,shampoo, conditioner and is in a great location next to good restaurants, shops and an easy drive to Vail. The apartment is 2 rooms across an outside hallway . This was not a problem at all and made it convenient to have a quiet room for naps. Thanks so much ! Linda Peters

Great location, beautiful and had everything we needed!
How cool to stay above a winery! This upstairs apartment had everything we needed for our three day stay. We were able to walk to all the restaurants and shops throughout downtown Minturn, and it was close to Leadville and Vail, which was important to us. The apartment itself had all of the amenities we were looking for, including extremely comfortable beds and a nicely stocked kitchen. We especially loved the historic books and photos throughout the apartment. Renters should know going into this, however, that the apartment's kitchen is limited with a small refrigerator and without a stove -- which was fine for our needs. Also there is an outside breezeway between the two rooms. This did not bother us at all. (Some of the hassle could be reduced by putting a lock on the downstairs gate so that you wouldn't have to keep locking both doors upstairs. Also it would be nice to have some sort of padding on the screen door so that it didn't slam with a loud bang every time it closed.) Those are extremely minor nitpicks that did not take away from our overall enjoyment. We truly loved this place -- it feels like a European chalet!! Minturn is a gem of a mountain town -- and we hope to return soon!

Funky Cool
I really liked the place ... it had a really unique charm to it. Very livable and close to Vail. We went in the summer and it was unusually hot. There is no air conditioning, which really isn't a problem because it cools down nicely at night, but you can't leave the street side windows open ... the noise from people, trucks and dogs made for a tough night. The next night we closed the front windows and only left the back windows open and we were fine.

My family and I loved our time at this funky little place. Super cool layout and a great location for all things Minturn. The Minturn Market happens literally out the front door of the apartment and while some may find the activity a bit much for an early Saturday, we thought it was great and super convenient. The bedroom unit is super cozy and well appointed with very comfortable beds. The other unit is charming and very unique in its furniture and finishings. We actually enjoyed the limited kitchen but others should be sure to note that there is no stove/oven in the unit. Plenty of dining options in Minturn and limitless choices a few minutes away in Vail. All in all a truly unique property in a perfect location.

We loved the beautiful spaces, the comfortable beds, and the great location walking distance from restaurants and shops in Minturn. It is a little odd to have to go out the bedroom space to use the restroom across the landing, particularly at night. If they could provide a locking mechanism for the gate, we would have felt more comfortable leaving the living space with restroom unlocked at night, making it easier to get up and go across the landing. Even with this inconvenience, we'd stay there again when visiting the area. It is just a beautiful, comfortable space.

Lots of room, funky and comfortable
The apartment was large and comfortable. The set-up, two large rooms separated by a breezeway is unusual, but we were prepared by previous reviewers. The king-sized bed and pillows were super comfy, we didn't use the other beds. The living and dining area were large with a nice wood-burning stove with plenty of room to host a couple of friends for drinks and appetizers. The small kitchen was fine for breakfast and snacks, lots of Keurig K-cups provided. Minturn has some cute shops and restaurants, and is an easy drive to Beaver Creek and Vail. We also took an easy drive to Glenwood Springs one day. Love the antique furniture! Read the check-in instructions carefully to figure out the hot water in the shower. Recommended for couples and families.

Lovely place, very clean. Minturn is a charming town, close to Beaver Creek and Vail. The cost of staying here is worthwhile if you have six people who are happy sleeping together in the same room. This apartment has a very odd setup—all the beds are in one room, across the small outside landing is the access to the other room. If you wake up in the night and need the bathroom, you go outside (Dec = minus 5 degrees) to get there. I didn't see a warning about this in their description. . . It is a beautiful apartment. Exquisite antique furniture, fine linens, & many lovely things to admire. If you stay for a few days, as we did, give up on the idea of cooking anything to save some money—there's no room to do anything, even if there were pots or pans. The "kitchen" is actually a bar where you can heat 'n eat if it fits on a 10"wide plate. The caretaker Randy is a wonderfully nice man, as is the owner. It was so lucky that Randy was there when we arrived. Our instructions included his telephone number but not where to find the keys so we could get in. This is a perfect place for a family or a group of friends who don't need privacy at night. PS Getting hot water in the shower was a challenge. There should instructions right there. Turn to the dial "H" for hot and you get "Cold".
