  • Tickles Cottage was built in 1850 by the cornish miners and is adjacent to Peppertree Cottage in a beautiful Rural Setting.
    Cottages can be booked together or separately. Only 2 km south of the historical township of Mintaro in the beautiful Clare Valley. Walking distance to Martindale
    Hall and Mintaro Maze. Mintaro has the best country pub, Magpie and Stump for lunches and dinners.
    Historical Burra is only half an hour away.
    Clare Valley has excellent wineries and the Reisling trail to explore.

Very pet Friendly. The most beautiful tree framed driveway down which to walk each morning with our dear old dog. A wonderful fire with great dry redgum wood. We were very cozy. Mintaro is so pretty and The Magpie & Stump Hotel serves great food! In Peppertree there are steep internal steps so be careful during the night if you need to visit the bathroom.

Lovely cottage. Very private. Good location, not too far from Clare itself. Lots to see and do. Great communication from the hosts and very easy self check in process.

Peaceful surroundings. Comfortable beds, facilities clean and spacious. Relaxing break, would recommend a stay. Nice drives through the valley easy to get to.And Margie makes the best cumquat jam.

Tickled about Tickles Cottage

A very comfortable place to stay. Loved sitting in the verandah, painting, drinking wine and soaking in the lovely country atmosphere. Also loved being out of the way but close enough to anywhere we wanted to be! Loved the Magpie and Stump Hotel too!

Stayed in Peppertree... easy location to find and get around. Great fire, linens, and plenty of heating to keep us cosy. The possums were rather active in the roof on Sunday night, but luckily only for a short period. thanks for having us. We will be back !

Relaxing Break

Thank you for the very pleasant stay. It felt so welcoming to walk in and have the lamps on - just what we needed to help switch off and relax. Everything was very comfortable, and we loved the fire and beautiful touches like the candles and lost of bread. Thanks again.
