Great potential

The cabin itself is adorable. Very well stocked and very easy to live in for a week. What we liked is that this is a very pet friendly home, but we walked into a wall of dog smell. It took opening all the doors and windows for a few hours to get it out of the house. It’s very overwhelming! It’s not something that can easily be covered by air fresheners and Febreze, but it’s more baked into the furniture and carpet. The cabin could definitely use some love. The property management company seems like they’re getting by doing as little as they possibly can for cleaning and stocking wood. Within the first three minutes of being there, we found three piles of dog poop, a dirty Kleenex on the side table in the bedroom, and somebody’s vape pen on the kitchen counter. The Flowage is beautiful. The neighbor next-door is a great go-to if you want to go fishing. He’s happy to share his tips. With better care, this could be an amazing vacation rental.

Great house on the lake

Enjoyed our stay with family again this year. House is great with everything you provide for the guests. Wish weather would have been a little better, but the fishing was better this year than last year.

May 2023 Fishing Trip

Our family spent a wonderful week at this property in mid May. The location was very good, The property was extremely level all the way to the water's edge. It was located on a quiet bay of the flowage. The fishing in this bay was excellent too. Bailey was the best owner I've ever worked with. She always responded within minutes to any concerns we had. We would definitely come back someday.

Great week on Minong Flowage.

Very spacious and well maintained property with a great deck overlooking the lake and its own convenient dock. The kids enjoyed fishing off the dock for bluegills and we all enjoyed kayaking and bird watching on the lake. Lake was too murky for swimming but otherwise ok.

Minong Cabin

This is our 2nd summer coming there and they really provide anything and everything you need. This year was very HOT, so central air would be nice for people sleeping in loft. Window unit in downstairs bedroom. The other downdall this year was the washing machine didn't work. We all packed light because we had the washing machine last year. Few trips to laundromat. Bailey said she notufied me of the situation, but I didn't recall seeing it when I texted her when we found out. We have fished the Minong Flowage for 40 yrs and this was the first year my husband didn't catch 1 fish. I caught one keeper and the other 4 caught a few blue gills and crappies. We got one meal for the 6 of us. Very disappointing. Not sure about returning next year if there is no fishing. Overall the cabin is great. Fishing not the fault of the owner. Would recommend, especially with AC and working washer. Then it wiuld be perfect.

Perfect, quiet getaway

This location was beautiful, clean, and relaxing. Being our first trip away as a couple, my partner and I wanted something worry-free and this gorgeous lodge lived up to it. We each brought our dog and enjoyed a leisurely weekend with great views and amenities. The property was so well-stocked that we didn't fret about the couple things we had forgotten and Minong was a short drive to stock up on groceries and firewood. Everything was clear and laid out so we had no questions about how to operate anything or where to find something. Absolutely flawless. We loved it and will definitely be back.

Perfect water views

We stay at a cabin each fall and this cabin has the best water view. It is close up and the lawn to the dock is level. Lots of hiking ( ATV trails and parks ) near by. Be great area for X-country skiing. One of the best equipped kitchens we have used. Nice big island for prep and eating when you are not sitting outside at the table with gas fire feature. Good internet and cable was a nice bonus. Really enjoyed our stay.

More than expected

We have been going up north to various lake houses for several years. This one was definitely a step up from the reset. The kitchen was supplied with so much stuff. Wow. We would definitely go back to this lake house.

Cabin had everything we needed. A beautuful deck and view. We loved it. I think I dropped my paperback in house or front porch when we were leaving. Darn, I was half way through it.

Lovely retreat!

Beautiful cabin on the lake! Enjoyed peaceful mornings watching eagles play. Catching fish right from the dock. Light filled A-frame so very comfortable for a family. Games, and movie’s available to play. Large kitchen and center island to hang out around. Very clean, with all essentials you would need. I slept great! Beds all very comfortable, with soft sheets and comforters. Really enjoyed the canoe too! Thankful for our stay. Highly recommend!! Andrea
